Matthew 24:3-14 3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences,[b] and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.
11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6)
1Cor. 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: AND THAT NO MAN CAN SAY THAT JESUS IS THE LORD, BUT BY THE HOLY GHOST.
THE TRIBULATION OF THE UNJUST (Those who have rejected Jesus Christ as their Saviour) IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION CHAPTER’S 6 to 22:
Rev. 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth:
Luke 12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them
so won’t you accept Jesus now and be removed from that event and live forever with Jesus in the Family of God?

DAILY CHRISTIAN BIBLICAL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
BELIEFS SHAKEN BY PASTOR
QUESTION: I’m a fairly new Christian and have always been a believer in the pre-trib rapture. I just found out today that our Associate Pastor is Post Trib. I found this out during a group discussion regarding God’s Wrath after I pointed out that 1 Thes. 5:9 says we’re not appointed to wrath. He said the wrath Paul was referring to is eternal condemnation of non-believers. He said rapture passages could just as easily be describing the 2nd Coming, the rapture doesn’t appear anywhere in New Testament theology, and the dispensational interpretation of Daniel’s 70th Week is a shaky and novel one. Being a baby Christian, the understanding that I had from beginning has now been shaken and that scares me to death! Can you help?
ANSWER: This is why Paul told us to search the Scriptures daily to see if the things we’re being taught are true (Acts 17:11). If you do a word study on the wrath of God you’ll find it almost exclusively refers to a specific period of time at the End of the Age that will begin sometime before Rev. 6:17 and according to Rev. 15:1 will end with the Bowl judgments that precede the 2nd Coming. It is not equivalent to eternal condemnation.
It especially cannot refer to the eternal judgment of nonbelievers in 1 Thes. 5:9, where the context of the passage is the Day of the Lord, another name for the end times. You don’t have to take my word for this. 1 Thes. 5:1 tells us the passage is in fact about the end times judgments.
As for the doctrine of the Rapture not appearing in New Testament Theology, Paul was the predominant author of New Testament theology and rapture passages appear throughout his writing, especially in 1 Cor. 15:51-53, 1 Thes 1:10 and 1 Thes. 4:16-17. In fact Paul was chosen to reveal the doctrine of the Rapture to the church. Also, rapture passages can’t be confused with second coming passages because in the rapture the Church goes to Heaven to be there (John 14:2-3, 1 Thes 4:16-17) whereas in the 2nd Coming Jesus comes to Earth to be here (Matt. 24:30).
As for Daniel’s 70th Week, when you compare it with to Israel’s actual history a literal reading of Daniel 9:24-27 shows the dispensational view is the only one that matches. Far from being novel, it’s a mainstream view.
There are only two possibilities here. Either your Associate Pastor is only parroting what he’s been taught and hasn’t followed Acts 17:11 in his own study, or he has re-interpreted the Bible to match his preconceived notions, because a literal reading of the Bible does not support his conclusions.
POST TRIB PASTOR
QUESTION: My younger brother is local church Pastor. But he is an avowed post-tribulationist. No matter how much I try to share with him, that the scriptures clearly teach a pre-tribulation rapture, it does no good. He gets very angry and aggressive. It seems like I am coming up against a Pharisaical spirit.
But my question is this. If someone is so doggedly determined that the church will go through the tribulation, do you think that that person might endanger their own escape, even if they belong to the Lord? I am just observing what happened to Lot’s wife, who was clearly looking for the destruction, and not towards the escape, and suffered as a result, even though she escaped the city, but not to safety.
ANSWER: Usually when someone gets angry or aggressive in a discussion, it means that they’re not really secure in their position but don’t want to be pushed into admitting it.
As far as using Lot’s wife as an example of believers being left behind in the Rapture, it’s an interesting point. But the Bible says we who are alive at the time will all be changed from mortal to immortal in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye (1 Cor. 15:51-52) and caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thes 4:16-17). Neither of these rapture passages mention any exceptions, such as our position on the timing of the rapture or even how “good” a Christian we’ve been. So don’t worry about winning a pre-Trib debate with your brother. You can explain it to him on the way up.

PROPHECY OF ELAM – (Possible Attack on Iran’s Nuclear Program
Trump administration officials are telling reporters and that there is no doubt that the attack on the oil production facilities in Saudi Arabia originated from Iranian soil, although Trump himself is being less dogmatic in his public statements. It appears that Trump wants all of the evidence to come in before making a final decision about what to do, but clearly he is leaning toward military action against Iran. And when we hit Iran, there is a very high probability that they will hit back. In fact, the Iranians have already stated unequivocally that they will defend themselves. So as I discussed yesterday, we are potentially facing a scenario that could ultimately lead to World War 3. (READ MORE…)

A top Indian official has put Islamabad on notice, saying India’s nuclear-armed neighbor “should be ready to lose Pakistani-occupied Kashmir,” in perhaps the most provocative statement yet since New Delhi’s revoking its own administered Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) historic autonomy on August 5.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was quoted by local media as making the inflammatory statement, saying—
“Now, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) too is ours … For fulfilling the dream of united India, we are ready to move forward for PoK.”
“Article 370 has been revoked. Now, Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) too is ours. Pakistan should be ready to lose PoK. For fulfilling the dream of united India, we are ready to move forward for PoK… Pakistan should stop supporting terrorism… India will not tolerate this,” he asserted while speaking at a political rally, according to India Today.
And further referencing the 1971 Indo-Pakistani war in which Bangladesh was liberated, the Chief Minister responded to recent statements by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan. “Pakistan was boasting of occupying Delhi in 1971 but they were about to lose Karachi. Bangladesh was partitioned. Their Army became our refugees,” he said.
This comes after Pakistan’s foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi warned last week that the situation on the Line of Control (LoC) in the Jammu and Kashmir region continues to deteriorate and risks sparking an “accidental war,” as reported in the Hindustan Times.
Qureshi was speaking on the sidelines of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva last Wednesday. He told journalists that Pakistan and India “understand the consequences of a conflict”. But he added that “an accidental war” cannot be ruled out. “… If the situation persists … then anything is possible,” he said.
Since the 1947 partition of British India, both countries — now bitter nuclear-armed rivals — have laid claim to Kashmir in full, though a tense status quo has left each with its side of the LoC.
After the Indian revocation of Article 370 to its constitution last month, tens of thousands of additional Indian troops have poured into J&K, putting the restive border region further on edge.
Pakistani officials previously claimed nothing less than an Indian-sponsored “genocide” is being carried out against Kashmiri Muslims on the Indian side of the LoC amid the sweeping security crackdown.
If indeed India is ready to “move forward” to “reclaim” the Pakistani side of the LoC, all-out war would no doubt be inevitable.
EXCLUSIVE: IRAN SHOT MISSILES FROM KHUZESTAN, DRONES FROM W. IRAQ AT SAUDI OIL FACILITIES
The Iranian attack on major Saudi oil infrastructure came from two locations, hence the confusion: DEBKAfile’s military and intelligence sources reveal that Summer cruise missiles were fired from Khuzestan in southern Iran and Avail 2 armed drones
from Anbar in western Iraq. This was the conclusion reached by US and Saudi intelligence probes into Saturday’s devastating attack on the big Saudi oil refinery at Abqaiq and its Kurais oil field.
Our sources add that the Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, which staged the attack, fired altogether 17 missiles and drones, of which 12 missiles achieved direct hits on their targets and five drones missed.
Khuzestan, the source of the missiles, is Iran’s main oil heartland, while the drones came from a location some 200km from the big American Ayn al-Asad air base in Anbar province. A strip of desert was cleared by the pro-Iranian PMU Shiite militia ready for the operation, under the orders of Iran’s Al Qods chief Gen. Qassem Soleimani.
Last Christmas, President Donald Trump visited the air base, on his only visit to Iraq as president, and praised the advanced military equipment installed there as affording the US contingents full control of the region.
The Israeli government and military are becoming jittery over the delay in any Saudi or US response for the Iranian attack, which has already impacted the global energy market, fearing that if Tehran can get away with a major assault on one American ally, it may be encouraged to go for another one.
Israeli sources gave no credence to Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani’s assertion on Monday that the attack on Saudi oil facilities was a reciprocal Houthi operation for the kingdom’s attacks in Yemen, judging it to be another attempt to distance Tehran from responsibility and pretend it had nothing to do with the United States.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu too issued a statement on Monday, saying that Israel is prepared for the possibility of being drawn into any US-Iranian confrontation over a strike on a Saudi oil plant. “I am taking care of our security on a 360-degree basis, and I can tell you that we are well-prepared” for any Iranian provocation. Netanyahu spoke 24 hours before Israel’s national ballot in which he is running for re-election.
RUSSIA-TURKEY-IRAN ALIGNMENT – SPEAKING AS ONE VOICE
Russia, Turkey and Iran consider Israeli military attacks on Syria as destabilizing and leading to increased tensions in the region, according to a joint statement by the leaders of the three countries after the summit in Ankara on Monday.
“The presidents consider Israeli military attacks in Syria as destabilizing, violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, as well as leading to increased tensions in the region,” the Russian-language version of document, published on the Kremlin’s website, reads.
Israel has carried out scores of air attacks in Syria in recent years, saying that the strikes were aimed at countering alleged Iranian presence in the Arab country.
Damascus condemns the attacks as a blatant violation of international law, while Iran insists that its presence in Syria has been limited to military advisers helping Damascus fight terrorist groups.
RUMORS OF WAR: WHAT HAVE THE HOUTHIS WROUGHT?
The weekend attack on the Saudi oil refinery may well be looked back at as a true hinge moment in history, for it represents the first time a world power, Iran, through its agents in Yemen*, struck another world power with large numbers of drones in a coordinated fashion. Sure, drones have been used for the last twenty years or so to deploy weapons of war, but those deployments have usually been by singular drones against singular, specific targets.
Think of the strike as the 21st-century Guernica:
I think it highly likely that Hezb’allah, from Lebanon, and Hamas, from Gaza, will strike Israel with multiple or even swarms of low-flying drones in coordinated ways. Iran could increase its attack on Gulf shipping. India and Pakistan could fight their own “Battle of Coral Sea” over Kashmir with neither side ever seeing or firing on the other. And the implications in the China-Taiwan and North vs. South Korea conflicts are staggering to contemplate.
More worrisome, to me, in the short run is what is happening in Yemen, particularly, and on the Arabian Peninsula in general.
Saudi Arabia is weak. It has proven that it is too militarily weak to effectively fight, let alone defeat, the Houthis, even with the aid of the Emirates. It has no chance against the Houthis now that the Emirates have lost interest in the fight.
Furthermore, the Houthis are continuing to gain strength in the whole of Yemen, but particularly in the area of the ruins of the once prosperous and powerful city of Mocha on the Red Sea. From there the Houthis can control the vital Bab el-Mandeb Strait. In a compelling discussion, Jonathan Spyer explains the threat cogently. And this explanation was taped before the refinery attack, so we must presume that the threat may now be even exponentially greater.
Elana DeLozier, a special scholar on the area, gives a thorough, but brief, account of the entire situation in Yemen. Those readers interested in understanding what is now happening in all of Arabia would profit by spending a few minutes listening to both Mr. Spyer and Ms. DeLozier, perhaps whilst preparing the morning’s coffee.
So we now have the Houthis emboldened and strengthened by the strike, but we also have an aggressive Iran denying involvement and raising tensions in the region:
Worse yet, as a result of current conditions in the area, exacerbated by the refinery strike, the impulse in Saudi Arabia, and elsewhere, to acquire nuclear weapons will surely intensify. That is, it will intensify if Saudi Arabia doesn’t already have nuclear weapons at hand. By that I mean that if you think Saudi Arabia hasn’t negotiated such a deal with Pakistan in exchange for its funding of Pakistan’s program, then I have a date palm oasis to sell you!
In any case, if the Saudis openly pursue a bomb, Erdoğan’s Turkey, Sisi’s Egypt, and even Abdullah’s Jordan will likely follow or at least want to follow.
And that strike has brought us closer than ever to nuclear conflict.
‘READY FOR WAR’: IRGC GENERAL SAYS U.S. BASES WITHIN RANGE OF IRANIAN MISSILES
IRGC General Says Two US Bases, Warship Are Within Range of Iranian Missiles from Sputnik News
The statement comes as US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Saturday blamed Iran for recent drone attacks on Saudi Aramco’s oil fields, urging the international community “to publicly and unequivocally condemn Iran’s attacks”.
Tehran has always been prepared for a full-fledged war, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps Aerospace Force Chief Amirali Hajizadeh said in a statement on Sunday, just a day after two drone attacks on oilfields in Saudi Arabia, which were claimed by Houthis and blamed by the US and Saudi Arabia on Tehran.
“Everybody should know that all American bases and their aircraft carriers, at a distance of up to 2,000 kilometres around Iran, are within the range of our missiles,” Hajizadeh said.
According to Hajizadeh, the Iranian military are ready to target two US bases and one carrier in the event of an armed conflict.
“Al-Udeid base in Qatar, az-Zafra base in the UAE and a US vessel in the Gulf of Oman would be targeted if Washington took military action,” the commander said.
Saturday’s drone attacks on Saudi Aramco factories prompted the United States to accuse Iran of being behind the incident.
US Senator Lindsey Graham accused the Islamic Republic of looking to “wreak havoc in the Middle East”, and recommend that the US “put on the table an attack on Iranian oil refineries if they continue their provocations”.
Moreover, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo pinned the blame on Tehran over the attacks calling for public condemnation of Iran’s actions.
Reacting to the accusations, the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Abbas Mousavi has condemned Mike Pompeo’s recent statement on Iran’s involvement in the drones attack against Saudi Aramco oil facilities in the kingdom, calling them a lie.
“The US policy of exerting “maximum pressure”, that apparently failed, veered towards “maximum lie” policy,” Mousavi said.
In the meantime, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman told Trump during the phone call that the kingdom was willing and able to confront and deal with this “terrorist aggression.”
Meanwhile, the French Foreign Ministry also decried the attacks on Saudi oil facilities, expressing “full solidarity” with Riyadh.
ANALYSIS OF SAUDI OIL ATTACK – WERE U.S. DEFENSE MEASURES INADEQUATE? PUTIN OFFERS TO SELL S-400 MISSILE DEFENSE SYSTEMS
https://prophecyupdate.blogspot.com/ – Finian Cunningham
The devastating blitz on Saudi Arabia’s oil industry has led to a flurry of accusations from US officials blaming Iran. The reason for the finger-pointing is simple: Washington’s spectacular failure to protect its Saudi ally.
The Trump administration needs to scapegoat Iran for the latest military assault on Saudi Arabia because to acknowledge that the Houthi rebels mounted such an audacious assault on the oil kingdom’s heartland would be an admission of American inadequacy.
Saudi Arabia has spent billions of dollars in recent years purchasing US Patriot missile defense systems and supposedly cutting-edge radar technology from the Pentagon. If the Yemeni rebels can fly combat drones up to 1,000 kilometers into Saudi territory and knock out the linchpin production sites in the kingdom’s oil industry, then that should be a matter of huge embarrassment for US “protectors.”
American defense of Saudi Arabia is germane to their historical relationship. Saudi oil exports nominated in dollars for trade – the biggest on the planet – are vital for maintaining the petrodollar global market, which is in turn crucial for American economic power. In return, the US is obligated to be a protector of the Saudi monarchy, which comes with the lucrative added benefit of selling the kingdom weapons worth billions of dollars every year.
According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, Saudi Arabia has the world’s third biggest military budget, behind the US and China. With an annual spend of around $68 billion, it is the world’s number one in terms of percentage of gross domestic product (8.8 per cent). Most of the Saudi arms are sourced from the US, with Patriot missile systems in particular being a recent big-ticket item.
Yet for all that financial largesse and the finest American military technology, the oil kingdom just witnessed a potentially crippling wave of air assaults on its vital oil industry. Saudi oil production at its mammoth refinery complex at Abqaiq, 205 miles (330 kms) east of the capital Riyadh, was down 50 per cent after it was engulfed by flames following air strikes. One of the Saudi’s biggest oilfields, at Khurais, also in the Eastern Province, was also partially closed.
There are credible reports that the damage is much more serious than the Saudi officials are conceding. These key industrial sites may take weeks to repair.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo got it half right when he claimed, “Iran launched an unprecedented attack on the world’s energy supply”.
Yes, it is unprecedented. But Pompeo and other US officials have most likely got it wrong about blaming Iran.
Some Trump administration officials told US media that “cruise missiles” were responsible for the giant fireballs seen over the Saudi oil facilities. One was quoted anonymously as saying: “There’s no doubt that Iran is responsible for this… there’s no escaping it. There is no other candidate.”
In a hurried effort to substantiate accusations against Iran, satellite images were released which show what appears to be the aftermath of the air strike on the Abqaiq refinery complex. US officials claim the location of the explosions indicate the weapons originated not from Yemen to the south, but from either Iran or Iraq.
Even the normally dutiful New York Times expressed doubt about that claim, commenting in its report: “The satellite photographs released on Sunday did not appear as clear cut as officials suggested, with some appearing to show damage on the western side of facilities, not from the direction of Iran or Iraq.”
The accusations made by Pompeo and others are assertions in place of substantiated claims.
It is noteworthy that President Donald Trump refrained from openly blaming Iran by name, merely hinting at the possibility. If Pompeo is so adamant in fingering Iran, why didn’t Trump? Also, the president made a telling remark when he said he was “waiting for verification” from Saudi Arabia “as to who they believe was the cause of the attack.” Again, if US officials are explicitly accusing Iran then why is Trump saying he wants “verification” from the Saudis?
For its part, Iran has flatly dismissed the allegations that it had any involvement, saying that statements by Pompeo were “blind” and tantamount to setting up a conflict.
Iraq’s Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi also rejected claims that his country’s territory might have been used by pro-Iranian Shia militants to launch the air strikes.
The Houthi rebels in Yemen have issued unambiguous statements claiming responsibility for the air raids on the Saudi oil installations. They were specific that the weapons were drones, not missiles, adding with details that 10 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were deployed.
Notably too, most US media reported initially that the attacks were by drones flown from Yemen. Associated Press reported a level of sophistication in the attacks whereby drones were used first to disable the US Patriot radar systems before other UAVs proceeded to execute the air strikes.
It therefore seems that US officials are attempting to switch the story by blaming Iran. It is reckless scapegoating because the logical consequence could elicit a military attack against Iran, in which event Tehran has warned it is ready for war.
The rationale for blaming Iran is that the Yemeni rebels (which Iran supports politically) are just not capable of using drones with such dramatic success against the Saudi oil industry. The culprit must be Iran, so the rationale goes. This is a follow-on from alleged sabotage by Iran against oil tankers in the Persian Gulf earlier this summer.
However, a timeline shows that the Houthis are more than capable of launching ever-more powerful ballistic missiles and deeper penetrating drones into Saudi territory. The rebels have been using drones from the beginning of the war which the US-backed Saudi-UAE coalition launched on the southern Arabian country in March 2015.
The Yemenis claim they are taking the war to Saudi Arabia and the UAE after years of relentless air strikes on their homeland which have resulted in nearly 90,000 dead. A recent UN report censured the US, Britain and France for possible complicity in war crimes through their military support for the Saudi coalition.
There must be trepidation among the monarchs in Saudi Arabia and the UAE that the rebels from war-torn and starving Yemen are now coming after them with drones that could demolish their oil economies. What’s more, the much-vaunted American protector is not able to deliver on its strategic bargain, despite billions of dollars of Pentagon weaponry. That’s why Washington has to find an excuse by casting Iran as the villain.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has suggested Saudi Arabia should buy Russian air defense systems to protect its oil facilities from drone attacks, pointing to Iran and Turkey, who operate S-300 and S-400 missiles, respectively.
“Saudi Arabia needs to make a smart decision, as Iran did by buying our S-300, and as Mr. Erdogan did by deciding to buy the most advanced S-400 Triumph air defense systems from Russia,” Putin told reporters in Ankara on Monday. “These kinds of systems are capable of defending any kind of infrastructure in Saudi Arabia from any kind of attack.”
Putin was answering a question about the recent drone attack on Saudi Arabian oil facilities, which Washington has blamed on Iran, though Yemen’s Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility. A coalition led by Saudi Arabia invaded Yemen in 2015 and has fought the Houthis there since.
Putin cited the Koran to admonish the Saudi coalition’s war on Yemen, saying that the Muslim holy book said the only legitimate form of violence was self-defense and, in that context, spoke of the Russian-made missile systems as a possible solution.
Iran has operated the S-300 missile systems since 2017, and the first batch of the S-400s was delivered to Turkey in July. Ankara’s purchase of the S-400s has caused it significant strife with Washington, which is refusing to deliver Turkey’s F-35 fighters, fearing that their computer systems will be compromised by the Russian weaponry.T
POPE FRANCIS INVITES POLITICAL LEADERS TO SIGN ‘GLOBAL PACT’ TO CREATE A ‘NEW HUMANISM’
Further signaling his acceptance of globalism during an age of increased nationalism, Pope Francis has now invited leaders to sign a “Global Pact” to create a “new humanism.”
“The global event, set to take place at the Vatican on May 14, 2020, is themed ‘Reinventing the Global Educational Alliance,’” reports LifeSiteNews. “The Pope is inviting representatives of the main religions, international organizations and various humanitarian institutions, as well as key figures from the world of politics, economics and academia, and prominent athletes, scientists and sociologists to sign a ‘Global Pact on Education’ so as to ‘hand on to younger generations a united and fraternal common home.’”
On September 12, the Holy Father said in a video message that “universal solidarity” can only be achieved by way of a “global education pact.”
LifeSiteNews noted that Pope Francis issued a “strikingly secular message” on the pact that contained just one reference to God and even echoed former First Lady Hillary Clinton’s favorite phrase: “It takes a village to raise a child.”
“This [Global Pact] will result in men and women who are open, responsible, prepared to listen, dialogue and reflect with others, and capable of weaving relationships with families, between generations, and with civil society, and thus to create a new humanism,” said Pope Francis.
The Pope added that an “alliance” must be formed “between the earth’s inhabitants and our ‘common home,’ which we are bound to care for and respect. An alliance that generates peace, justice and hospitality among all peoples of the human family, as well as dialogue between religions.”
The Pope’s invitation to a “Global Pact” echoes his recent declaration that the “common good has become global” while criticizing the nation-state for being unable to meet this human need. He, however, did not issue a call for a one-world government.
“In the current situation of globalization not only of the economy but also of technological and cultural exchanges, the nation-state is no longer able to procure the common good of its population alone,” Pope Francis told the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences in May. “While, according to the principle of subsidiarity, individual nations must be given the power to operate as far as they can, on the other hand, groups of neighboring nations — as is already the case — can strengthen their cooperation by attributing the exercise of certain functions and services to intergovernmental institutions that manage their common interests.”
In what was seen as a veiled critique of the pope’s stance, Cardinal Raymond Burke later told Rome Life Forum that natural law permits patriotism “in accord with the order written upon the human heart” and “does not make just and legitimate a single global government.”
“Before the challenges of our time, there are those who propose and work for a single global government, that is, for the elimination of individual national governments, so that all of humanity would be under the control of a single political authority,” said Burke. “For those who are convinced that the only way to achieve the common good is the concentration of all government in a single authority, loyalty to one’s homeland or patriotism has become an evil.”
TIMES OF ISRAEL: LIVEBLOGGING THROUGHOUT ELECTION DAY
The Times of Israel is liveblogging Israel’s election day events through Tuesday and into Wednesday.
Some 6.3 million Israelis are eligible to cast votes Tuesday as Israel goes to the polls for the second time in five months, after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to form a coalition following April’s poll. Netanyahu is seeking support for a new right-wing mandate and challenger Benny Gantz is looking to unseat him.
The Central Elections Committee reports several additional incidents at polling stations.
In Yarka, voting was briefly suspended when the station’s head noticed ballot envelopes had disappeared. The regional elections chief, who is always a serving judge, arrived at the scene to investigate. Police have also been called in.
In Beit Shemesh, a voter arrived at the poll to discover she’d already voted. She filed a police complaint.
There were also several attempts by party observers at polling stations to film the procedures. “Police have dealt with all cases,” the elections committee’s Orly Adas says.
Separately, Channel 13 reports that all the staff at a polling station in Fureidis have been replaced by the Central Elections Committee amid concern that fictitious vote tallies were being reported.
At an “emergency meeting” of senior Likud officials to consider the party’s response to a purported rush on the polls by “Arabs and leftists,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warns that the Arab Joint List is on track to win 15 seats.
If it does, it would be the highest-ever showing for Arab candidates, and more or less in keeping with the community’s actual numbers among the Israeli adult population.
Yamina’s chair Ayelet Shaked says the extremist Otzma Yehudit party has launched an “illegal” text message campaign pretending to come from her party that is calling on voters to switch their votes to Otzma Yehudit.
In a screen capture from a phone that she shared on Twitter, a text message purporting to come from Yamina reads: “Dear Mordechai Ifrach, at our last consultation we decided to give two [Knesset] seats to Otzma Yehudit. Please act accordingly.”
The message is signed “Yamina staff.”
“A crime by Otzma Yehudit,” Shaked tweets in response. “An urgent petition was filed to the Central Elections Committee. All morning they’ve been spreading lies.”
After a similar previous message claimed that Nobel-laureate Yamina supporter Prof. Israel Aumann had switched his support to Otzma Yehudit, Shaked wrote: “Prof. Aumann asked to clarify that he’s calling to vote for Yamina.”
Voter turnout hits 26.8 percent of eligible voters by noon, the Central Elections Committee’s director Orly Adas says.
That’s 2 points higher than April’s 24.8% by this hour, an “impressive trend,” according to Adas.
The latest figure means 1,713,936 voters have already voted, according to the committee’s figures, drawn from reports from 8,652 polling stations, about 80% of the total, as well as a survey of 513 representative stations nationwide.
MACRON’S SPEECH TO AMBASSADORS: ANALYSIS
But the single most amazing event of the past couple of weeks was the absolutely astonishing speech French President Emmanuel Macron made in front of an assembly of ambassadors.
1) “ great upheaval that is undoubtedly taking place for the first time in our history in almost every field and with a profoundly historic magnitude”
Here Macron sets the stage for some truly momentous observations: what will be discussed next is not only a major event, but one without precedent in history (whether French or European). Furthermore, what will be discussed next, affects “almost every field” and with huge historical implications.
2) “We are undoubtedly experiencing the end of Western hegemony over the world”
When I read that, my first and rather infantile reaction was to exclaim “really?! No kiddin’?! Who would have thought!?” After all, some of us have been saying that for a long, long while, but never-mind that. What is important is that even a Rothschild-puppet like Macron had to finally speak these words. Oh sure, he probably felt as happy as the Captain of the Titanic when he had to (finally!) order a general evacuation of this putatively unsinkable ship, but nonetheless – he did do it. From now on, the notion of the end of the western hegemony on the planet is no more relegated to what the leaders of the Empire and their propaganda machine like to call “fringe extremists” and has now fully entered the (supposedly) “respectable” and “mainstream” public discourse. This is a huge victory for all of us who have been saying the same things for years already.
3) “by the mistakes of Westerners in certain crises, by the choices that have been made by Americans for several years”
4) “ the emergence of new powers whose impact we have probably underestimated for a long time. China is at the forefront, but also the Russian strategy, which has, it must be said, been pursued more successfully in recent years”
Next, it’s not only China. Russia too is a major competitor, and a very successful one at that, hence the admission that in spite of all the efforts of the AngloZionist elites not only did the Empire not succeed in breaking Russia, but Russia has been very successful in defeating the western efforts. To those interested, I highly recommend this article by Jon Hellevig on the true state of the Russian economy. Finally, in military terms, Russia has achieved more than parity. In fact, I would argue that at least in terms of quality the Russian armed forces are ahead in several crucial technologies (hypersonic missiles, air defenses, electronic warfare etc.) even while she still lags behind in other technologies (mostly truly obsolete things like aircraft carriers). But most crucial is the political victory of Russia: five years after the Euromaidan and the liberation of Crimea from the Nazi yoke, the USA is far more isolated than Russia.
6) “ Look at India, Russia and China. They have a much stronger political inspiration than Europeans today. They think about our planet with a true logic, a true philosophy, an imagination that we’ve lost a little bit.”
This is the “core BRICS” challenge to the Empire: China and Russia have already established what the Chinese call a “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Coordination for the New Era”. If they can now extend this kind of informal but extremely profound partnership (I think of it as “symbiotic”) to India next, then the BRICS will have a formidable future (especially after the Brazilian people give the boot to Bolsonaro and his US patrons). Should that fail and should India chose to remain outside this unique relationship, then the SCO will become the main game in town. And yes, Macron is spot on: China and, especially, Russia have a fundamentally different worldview and, unlike the western one, theirs does have “much stronger political” goals (Macron used the word “aspirations”), “a real philosophy and imagination” which the West has lost, and not just a “little bit” but, I would argue, completely. But one way or the other, and for the first time in 1000 years, the future of our planet will not be decided anywhere in the West, not in Europe (old or “new”), but in Asia, primarily by the Russian-Chinese alliance. As I explained here, the AngloZionist Empire is probably the last one in history, definitely the last western one.
Now we should not be naïve here, Macron did not suddenly find religion, grow a conscience or suddenly become an expert on international relations. There is, of course, a cynical reason why he is changing his tune. In fact, there are several such reasons.
First, it appears that the on and off bromance between Macron and Trump is over.
Second, all of Europe is in free fall socially, economically and, of course, politically.
Furthermore, while I have always said that Russia is not part of Europe culturally and spiritually, Russia is very much part of Europe geographically, economically and politically and there is simply no way for any imaginable alliance of European states to save Europe from its current predicament without Russian help.
It will be interesting to see if the current G7 will ever agree to mutate into a new G10 which would make Russia, China and India the most powerful block (or voting group) of this new forum. I personally doubt it very much, but then they are becoming desperate and Macron’s words seem to be indicating that this option is at least being discussed behind closed doors. Frankly, considering how quickly the G7 is becoming utterly irrelevant, I expect it to be gradually phased out and replaced by the (objectively much more relevant) G20.
Conclusion: Macron reads the writing on the wall
Whatever his political motives to say what he said, Macron is no idiot and neither are his advisors. Neither is this a “one off” thing. The French meant every word Macron spoke and they are putting everybody on notice (including the Ukrainians, the US, the EU and the Russians, of course). In fact, Macron has already invited Putin to participate in a Normandy Format meeting in Paris in the very near future. If that meeting eventually does take place, this will mean that the organizers gave Putin guarantees that this will not just be the usual kaffeeklatsch and that some serious results will finally be obtained.
Therefore, all the other parties will have to come to terms with reality before inviting Putin. Apparently, this might be happening in Paris. As for Trump, he just offered to mediate (if asked to do so) between Russia and the Ukraine.
It shall be extremely interesting to see if this Normandy Format meeting does actually take place and what role, if any, Trump and the USA will play behind the scenes. We shall then know if Macron’s epiphany was just a one-time fluke or not.
6 OF THE LAST 8 U.S. RECESSIONS WERE PRECEDED BY OIL PRICE SPIKES – DAMAGE TO SAUDI OIL INDUSTRY COULD TAKE “MONTHS” TO REPAIR
When the price of oil rises dramatically, that tends to be really bad for the U.S. economy. Because we are so spread out and goods are transported over such vast distances, our economy is particularly vulnerable to oil price shocks, and that is one reason why the events that we just witnessed in the Middle East are so alarming. According to an article that was published by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in 2007, five of the last seven U.S. recessions that had occurred up to that time “were preceded by considerable increases in oil prices”. Since that article was published in 2007, the recession that began in 2008 hadn’t happened yet, and of course that recession was immediately preceded by the largest oil price spike in history. So that means that six of the last eight U.S. recessions were preceded by oil price spikes, and now we may be facing another one. It is being reported that it may take “months” for Saudi Arabia to fully repair the damage that was done to their oil industry, and that could fundamentally alter the balance of supply and demand in the global marketplace. DAYS OF NOAH: US NAVY SPOKESMAN MAKES OFFICIAL STATEMENT CONFIRMING EXISTENCE OF UFOS, SAYS VIDEOS SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN SHOWN TO PUBLIC
https://www.nowtheendbegins.com/us-navy-spokesman-makes-official-statement-confirming-existence-of-ufos-calls-them-unidentified-aerial-phenomena-days-of-noah/ – by Geoffrey Grider
In one clip, for example, the object “appeared suddenly at 80,000ft and then hurtled toward the sea, eventually stopping at 20,000ft and hovering”. The release of videos sparked a fresh wave of interest in UFOs and the US Navy said they would be revising rules to encourage pilots to report sightings. Earlier this year, the official spokesperson for the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare, John Gradisher, said the US Navy took the reports “very seriously” and were investigating “each and every one”.
The United States Navy has confirmed three UFO bombshell videos of mysterious crafts taken by pilots do indeed show ‘Unidentified Aerial Phenomena’.
The US Navy has now officially confirmed that the shocking videos showing Navy pilots chasing UFOs are indeed real and that they are unable after years of intense investigation to give an explanation for exactly what type of crafts they are. But the government refuses to use the term ‘UFOs’ and instead are now calling them ‘Unidentified Aerial Phenomena‘, or UAPs.
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Daniel 12:4 (KJV)
For decades now, our government in general and our military in particular has not only refused to acknowledge UFOs, they went so far as to mock and belittle people who insisted that UFOs exist and interact with humans. But recent advances in military technology has let the proverbial cat out of the bag by allowing pilots to accurately record encounters with them in not one but in dozens of videos that were leaked to the public. We have included two of those pilot-captured videos at the bottom of this article. With apologies to Seinfeld, they’re real and they’re spectacular.
“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:37 (KJV)
THE BOOK OF DANIEL was given a book of prophecy related to the end times, the time we now find ourselves in, and he was told to ‘seal it up’ until the ‘time of the end’. Jesus tells us in Matthew 24, the the time of Jacob’s trouble will be like the ‘days of Noah‘, where the fallen angels had sex with human women and created the race of evil giants known as the Nephilim. Now you know why pilots are all of a sudden chasing real UFOs around the skies, because those days are almost upon us. The event that will officially and formally usher in the end times is called the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, the first item on the Day of the Lord checklist. Are you ready for what comes next?
US Navy labels mystery craft in famous videos as ‘Unidentified Aerial Phenomena’
FROM THE DAILY STAR UK: The three groundbreaking clips were released back in 2017 as part of The New York Times’ report into the government’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program. Each video, shown above, saw US Navy pilots debating what the unidentified crafts were as they undertook aerial manoeuvres not possible with current aviation technology right in front of them.
Have You Seen A UFO? Report it here.
WOW,WHAT IS THAT, MAN?’ US NAVY PILOT RYAN GRAVES REPORTS SEEING UFO FLYING AT SPEEDS UNSUSTAINABLE FOR HUMAN BEINGS MAKING SUDDEN STOPS AND INSTANTANEOUS TURNS
But it now appears these investigations have come to an end, with Mr Gradisher labelling the crafts in the three videos as “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena”.
“The Navy designates the objects contained in these videos as unidentified aerial phenomena,” he told The Black Vault, an online site that documents previously-classified material.
“The ‘Unidentified Aerial Phenomena’ terminology is used because it provides the basic descriptor for the sightings/observations of unauthorized/unidentified aircraft/objects that have been observed entering/operating in the airspace of various military-controlled training ranges.”
By using this description, the Navy is refraining from saying the objects are extraterrestrial in nature but can simply not be explained at this moment in time.
The Black Vault also revealed that, while the videos were unclassified, they were never cleared for public release.
“The videos were never officially released to the general public by the DoD and should still be withheld,” Pentagon spokesperson Susan Gough told the news site earlier this year. Mr Gradisher then confirmed the Pentagon’s position in the new report last week by adding: “The Navy has not released the videos to the general public.” READ MORE:

[Personally, I believe the rebuilding of the Temple comes after the battle of Gog-Magog and offered up as part of the covenant confirmation of Daniel 9:27, but this is interesting as it points out the focus on the rebuilt Temple. Additionally, if the Trump plan DOES allow for the rebuilding of the Temple, perhaps something disrupts this plan for now and it gets ‘confirmed’ at a later date (such as after Gog-Magog). Following this battle, there won’t be much rejection by radical Islam as it will have been destroyed in this region during Gog-Magog]
Today is the day of the momentous Israeli elections and the countdown to the even more momentous Trump “peace plan” for the Middle East, which reportedly will soon be unveiled. Along with President Trump, I’m rooting for Bibi Netanyahu and believe he will squeak through – but whatever happens in this election, God’s prophetic timetable will unfold, and the events of the last days will occur in the order and in the manner in which He has prescribed them. We can only perceive these landmarks of prophetic fulfilment “as through a glass darkly,” but we remain highly attentive as they emerge into view because we who are “sons of the light” have been promised in 1 Thessalonians 5:4 that the day of the Lord’s return will not take us by surprise.
In parallel to the rise of Messianic Judaism is the maturation of the Third Temple Movement in Orthodox Judaism. I have been an observer of the Temple Institute in Jerusalem for years and have visited its facility in the Old City several times – and even shared a stage in Riga, Latvia, last year with one of its founders, Rabbi Yehuda Glink (now a Knesset member), at a pro-Israel conference where Messianic and Orthodox Jews intermingled harmoniously. I have seen firsthand the implements that have been fashioned per biblical specifications for Temple worship and tracked the step by step progress of identifying and training the priests, building the altar of sacrifice and manoeuvring the government toward capitulating to their demands to reclaim the Temple Mount.
In short, the Orthodox Jews of the Third Temple Movement have been diligently preparing for the time when the Israeli government will declare its intention to build the Temple – all the prerequisites apparently have now been met – and I believe Israel is very close to announcing its intention to reclaim direct control of at least a portion of the Temple Mount and to begin construction. I think it is possible that this could even be a component of the peace plan.
Of course, if this occurs, the powder keg called Islam will very likely explode in unprecedented fury. And no one knows this better than the Jews of Israel. Yet, they also know there is absolutely NO scenario in which the Muslims (collectively) will react well to the announcement of the (biblically inevitable) Third Temple, so the question for them is not if but “When is the best time to pull that trigger?”
Enter President Donald Trump, rightly heralded as the best friend to Israel in its entire history, and commander in chief of the most formidable military in world history, who is both poised to unveil what his surrogates have characterised as an entirely new approach to Middle East peace and the Palestinian problem, and at the same time politically embattled at home as no other U.S. president has ever been – with the fate of his presidency hanging in limbo.
Will the Israeli Jews ever have a better window of time in which to act on the Third Temple than right now when they know with certainty that the U.S. military will fully back their play?
Would they risk the possibility, however slim, that Trump could be replaced by any of the Democratic challengers whose party is increasingly openly anti-Semitic?
Will there ever be another time when a “Master of the Deal,” holding all the power cards, can bring all the global players to the table at one time to push through a plan palatable enough to some Muslims to prevent (or at least postpone) World War III?
I think those questions lead to just one conclusion: The Third Temple will be part of the deal, either initially or soon after.
I’m not claiming special knowledge or “Thus sayeth the Lord” about any of this. It’s just my deductive reasoning from a biblical worldview and my own particular interpretation of end-times prophecy. I could very well be wrong, and if so I’ll have to look a little harder at alternative scenarios I am pondering – but if I’m right we’re about to cross an important threshold with very serious prophetic implications. I will refrain from commenting further about those implications pending the release of the peace plan and the advent of the fall feast days in Israel, especially Yom Kippur, which is most closely associated with the theme of liberation.
In closing I want to clarify that I am in favour of the Third Temple because I know it is a necessary prerequisite to the second coming of Christ. However, I know it will feature prominently in the short-lived Antichrist Kingdom when Jerusalem will be corrupted to a very extreme degree, and so it is both dreaded and welcomed – like birth pains for a woman in labour – a necessary process that must be endured to experience the incomparable joy that follows (Matthew 24:8). To quote Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4,
“Let no one in any way deceive you, for [the Lord’s return] will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.”
“We are concerned that the definition… could be used to challenge legitimate free speech on the historical or theological actions of Islamic states. There is also a risk it could also undermine counter-terrorism powers, which seek to tackle extremism or prevent terrorism.” — Martin Hewitt, Chair, National Police Chiefs’ Council.
Islam represents an idea, not a nationality or an ethnicity. The conventional purpose of most hate-speech laws is to protect people from hatred, not ideas.
The new proposed definition would criminalize criticism of Islam. Considering the origins of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on British Muslims, that is probably the whole point.
“[A]n alternative definition of Anti-Muslim Hatred should be specific and narrow. It should focus on addressing bigotry directed at individuals, and avoid censoring debate or freedom of expression on religion. Finally, a comprehensive definition of Anti-Muslim Hatred must take intra-Muslim hatred into account to protect those who want to speak freely or express themselves differently.” — Nikita Malik, Forbes,May 20, 2019.
In April 2018, Britain’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on British Muslimsbegan work on establishing a “working definition of Islamophobia that can be widely accepted by Muslims, political parties and the government”.
In December 2018, the group concluded its work with a “Report on the inquiry into a working definition of Islamophobia / anti-Muslim hatred.” The report defines “Islamophobia” as a form of racism, conflating religion with ethnic origin or nationality: “Islamophobia is rooted in racism and is a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness.”
Similarly, the UK government, according to a Buzzfeed report, is concerned that defining Islamophobia as a form of racism “could mean people who criticise aspects of Islam might be prosecuted under discrimination laws.”
The UK government is right, of course. Islam represents an idea, not a nationality or an ethnicity. The conventional purpose of most hate-speech laws is to protect people from hatred, not ideas. The new proposed definition would criminalize criticism of Islam.
Sharia law prohibits questioning, seeming to regard it as a form of blasphemy:
“O you who have believed, do not ask about things which, if they are shown to you, will distress you. But if you ask about them while the Qur’an is being revealed, they will be shown to you. Allah has pardoned that which is past; and Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.” [Qur’an 5:101, Sahih International translation]
”A people asked such [questions] before you; then they became thereby disbelievers.” [Qur’an 5:102, Sahih International translation]
The prohibition against questioning also seems why several Muslim organizations, such as the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), fight for the introduction of blasphemy laws in the West, to prevent questioning Islam.

6 Of The Last 8 U.S. Recessions Were Preceded By Oil Price Spikes – Damage To Saudi Oil Industry Could Take “Months” To Repair by Michael Snyder for The Economic Collapse Blog
Yesterday, I discussed why high oil prices are so bad for our economy. When the price of oil is too high, it can cause inflation and hurt economic growth simultaneously. The article from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco that I mentioned in the last paragraph tried to explain why this happens in very basic economic terms…
Oil price increases are generally thought to increase inflation and reduce economic growth. In terms of inflation, oil prices directly affect the prices of goods made with petroleum products. As mentioned above, oil prices indirectly affect costs such as transportation, manufacturing, and heating. The increase in these costs can in turn affect the prices of a variety of goods and services, as producers may pass production costs on to consumers. The extent to which oil price increases lead to consumption price increases depends on how important oil is for the production of a given type of good or service.
Oil price increases can also stifle the growth of the economy through their effect on the supply and demand for goods other than oil. Increases in oil prices can depress the supply of other goods because they increase the costs of producing them. In economics terminology, high oil prices can shift up the supply curve for the goods and services for which oil is an input.
Needless to say, the unprecedented attack on Saudi oil production facilities was going to cause the price of oil to rise substantially. In fact, when global markets opened up on Sunday evening we witnessed quite a dramatic spike…
In an extraordinary trading day, London’s Brent crude leaped almost $12 in the seconds after the open, the most in dollar terms since their launch in 1988. Prices subsequently pulled back some of that initial gain of almost 20%, but rallied again as traders waited in vain for an Aramco statement clarifying the scale of damage.
So where is the price of oil going from here?
One analyst quoted by Oilprice.com believes that we could soon see it hit $80 a barrel, and others believe that it could move up toward $100 a barrel not too long from now.
Tokyo Electric Power’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, which experienced three massive meltdowns in 2011, is running out of room to store radioactive water. No surprise! But now, what to do about phosphorescent water?
Addressing the issue, Japan’s environmental minister Yoshiaki Harada held a news conference (September 2019). Unfortunately, he proffered the following advice: “The only option will be to drain it into the sea and dilute it.” (Source: Justin McCurry in Tokyo, Fukushima: Japan Will Have to Dump Radioactive Water Into Pacific, Minister Says, The Guardian, Sept. 10, 2019)
“The only option”… Really?
Over the past 8 years, Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO) has scrambled like a Mad Hatter to construct emergency storage tanks (1,000) to contain upwards of one million tonnes of contaminated radioactive water, you know, the kind of stuff that, over time, destroys human cells, alters DNA, causes cancer, or produces something like the horrific disfigured creature in John Carpenter’s The Thing! That’s the upshot of a triple nuclear meltdown that necessitates constant flow of water to prevent further melting of reactor cores that have been decimated and transfigured into corium or melted blobs. It’s the closest to a full-blown “china syndrome” in all of human history.
Ever since March 11, 2011, TEPCO has scrambled to build storage tanks to prevent massive amounts of radioactive water from pouring into the ocean (still, some lesser amounts pour into the ocean every day by day). Now the government is floating a trial balloon in public that, once the tanks are full, it’ll be okay to dump the radioactive water into the ocean.
Their logic is bizarre, meaning, on the one hand, the meltdown happens, and they build storage tanks to contain the radioactive water, but on the other hand, once the storage tanks run out of space, it’s okay to dump radioactive water into the ocean. Seriously?
Meantime, the Fukushima meltdown brings the world community face to face with TEPCO and the government of Japan in an unprecedented grand experiment that, so far, has failed miserably. Of course, dumping radiation into the Pacific is like dumping radiation into everybody’s back yard. But, for starters, isn’t that a non-starter?
Greenpeace International March 8th 2019 article entitled: Japanese Government Misleading UN on Impact of Fukushima Fallout on Children, Decontamination Workers: “The Japanese government is deliberately misleading United Nations human rights bodies and experts over the ongoing nuclear crisis in areas of Fukushima… In areas where some of these decontamination workers are operating, the radiation levels would be considered an emergency if they were inside a nuclear facility.” Enough said!
“In its reporting to the United Nations, the Japanese government deliberately misrepresents the scale, complexity, and radiation risks in areas of Fukushima, the working practice and conditions for workers, and its disregard for children’s health and wellbeing. This reality should shame the government to radically change its failing policies,” said Kazue Suzuki, Energy Campaigner of Greenpeace Japan.
Viktor Sushko, deputy director general of the National Research Centre for Radiation Medicine (NRCRM) based in Kiev, Ukraine, describes the Chernobyl disaster as: “The largest anthropogenic disaster in the history of humankind,” Ibid.
…the Russian Academy of Sciences said as many as 112,000-125,000 died by 2005. That’s 2,500xs more deaths than the official reports, which also never increase in number over time as radiation takes its merry ole time blasting, destroying, and/or altering human cell structure. Ukrainian authorities claim death rates of Chernobyl cleanup workers rose from 3.5 to 17.5 deaths per 1,000 between 1988 and 2012 on a database of 651,453 cleanup workers, which equates to 11,392 deaths. Additionally, Belarus had 99,693 cleanup workers, equating to 1,732 deaths. Not only that, disability among workers shows that approximately 5% are still healthy in 2012 (only 5%, meaning 95% unhealthy) with commonality of cardiovascular and circulatory diseases and nervous system problems.
Viktor Sushko, deputy director general of the National Research Centre for Radiation Medicine (NRCRM) based in Kiev, Ukraine, describes the Chernobyl disaster as: “The largest anthropogenic disaster in the history of humankind,” Ibid.
Thus begging the most obvious of questions re Fukushima victims in the years ahead; how many cases of cancer, and how many will die? Unfortunately, radioactive isotopes don’t stop once they’re activated in a nuclear meltdown. They’re pernicious over time destroying and/or grotesquely altering human cell structure. For proof, visit second-generation Chernobyl children locked up in orphanages in Belarus.
According to a USA Today article – Chernobyl’s Legacy: Kids With Bodies Ravaged by Disaster, April 17, 2016: “There are 2,397,863 people registered with Ukraine’s health ministry to receive ongoing Chernobyl-related health care. Of these, 453,391 are children — none born at the time of the accident. Their parents were children in 1986. These children have a range of illnesses: respiratory, digestive, musculoskeletal, eye diseases, blood diseases, cancer, congenital malformations, genetic abnormalities, trauma.” Many of the children are hidden away deep in the forested countryside in orphanages in Belarus.
Postscript: “It’s a real shame that the authorities hide the truth from the whole world, from the UN. We need to admit that actually many people are dying. We are not allowed to say that, but TEPCO employees also are dying. But they keep mum about it,” Katsutaka Idogawa, former mayor of Futaba (Fukushima Prefecture) Fukushima Disaster: Tokyo Hides Truth as Children Die, Become Ill from Radiation – Ex-Mayor, RT News, April 21, 2014)
Post-Postscript: “The ashes of half a dozen unidentified laborers ended up at a Buddhist temple in a town just north of the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant. Some of the dead men had no papers; others left no emergency contacts. Their names could not be confirmed and no family members had been tracked down to claim their remains. They were simply labeled “decontamination troops” — unknown soldiers in Japan’s massive cleanup campaign to make Fukushima livable again five years after radiation poisoned the fertile countryside,” (Source: Mari Yamaguchi, Fukushima ‘Decontamination Troops’ Often Exploited, Shunned, AP & ABC News, Minamisona, Japan, March 10, 2016)
