John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6)
1Cor. 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: AND THAT NO MAN CAN SAY THAT JESUS IS THE LORD, BUT BY THE HOLY GHOST.
THE TRIBULATION OF THE UNJUST (Those who have rejected Jesus Christ as their Saviour) IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION CHAPTER’S 6 to 22:
Rev. 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth:
Luke 12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them
so won’t you accept Jesus now and be removed from that event and live forever with Jesus in the Family of God?

Storing Up Treasure In Heaven
QUESTION:    Just wondering. If we do something good here on Earth to try and earn a blessing, it won’t work. Does the same concept apply when giving for the direct purpose of storing up treasure in Heaven?
ANSWER:    In 1 Cor. 4:5 Paul wrote that at the bema seat judgment the Lord would bring to light the hidden motives of our heart when evaluating our “good” works on Earth. Doing something just for the purpose of earning a blessing denotes selfishness and will be disqualified. The only acceptable motive is gratitude for what the Lord has done for us.
Storing up treasure in Heaven is different in that it’s something the Lord specifically commanded us to do (Matt. 6:19-21). He was speaking of using our financial resources in such a way that we’ll be building up assets in heaven, such as giving to the various needs of the poor, instead of keeping them for ourselves so we can build up assets on earth.
This concept is contrary to human nature and is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s working in our life. It prompted at least one commentator to say, “It’s true you can’t take it with you, but you can send it up ahead.” Think about it.

Treasure On Earth Or in Heaven?
QUESTION:    I love your articles and find such encouragement here. I have a question about “storing up treasure”. I’ve asked so many different Christians about preparing for the hard times ahead and have received as many different answers. Most people think we are to be good stewards of our money and invest and save to take care of our families. Others think the Lord will take care of them completely. Some think a combination of the two. I personally, do not have time or brains to investigate different investments and watch them. I’d rather spend my time in the Bible, but I do want to do what the Lord said. Searching the scriptures, I don’t find store up in barns and banks, I can only find “take no thought for your life, what you will eat, drink, etc.” My husband is not a believer, so I can’t take the 401K out and give it away, but I’d like to. What should I do?
ANSWER:    You’re correct in saying that the Lord never admonished us to rely on the things of this world for our security. He spoke very clearly when He said,
So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matt. 6:31-33)
You’re only responsible for doing what you can, and it’s the motive of your heart that really counts. You can seek first His kingdom, and as for storing up treasure, you can do what’s within your power without being disobedient. That’s all He asks of you.

PROPHECY OF ELAM – (Possible Attack on Iran’s Nuclear Program

Iran condemns ‘illegal interception’ of oil supertanker in Gibraltar
Iran on Thursday condemned the “illegal interception” of one of its oil tankers in Gibraltar where authorities said they suspected it was carrying crude oil to Syria in violation of EU sanctions.
The detention of the 330 meter (1,000 feet) Grace 1 vessel comes at a sensitive time in Iran-EU ties as the bloc mulls how to respond to Tehran announcing it will breach the maximum uranium enrichment level it agreed to in a 2015 nuclear deal.
Iran summoned the British ambassador in protest.
“After the illegal interception of an Iranian oil tanker in the strait of Gibraltar by the English naval force, that country’s ambassador to Tehran was summoned to the foreign ministry,” the ministry’s spokesman Abbas Moussavi said in Tehran.
However, White House National Security Adviser John Bolton applauded the interception of the supertanker.
“Excellent news: UK has detained the supertanker Grace I laden with Iranian oil bound for Syria in violation of EU sanctions,” Bolton tweeted.
Excellent news: UK has detained the supertanker Grace I laden with Iranian oil bound for Syria in violation of EU sanctions. America & our allies will continue to prevent regimes in Tehran & Damascus from profiting off this illicit trade.
— John Bolton (@AmbJohnBolton) July 4, 2019
The Grace 1 tanker was halted in the early hours of Thursday by police and customs agencies in Gibraltar, a tiny overseas British territory on Spain’s southern tip.
They were aided by a detachment of British Royal Marines.
The ship was detained 2.5 miles (four kilometres) south of Gibraltar in what it considers British waters, although Spain, which lays claim to the territory, says they are Spanish.
It was boarded when it slowed down in a designated area used by shipping agencies to ferry goods to vessels.
“We have reason to believe that the ‘Grace 1’ was carrying its shipment of crude oil to the Banyas Refinery in Syria,” Gibraltar’s Chief Minister Fabian Picardo said in a statement.
“That refinery is the property of an entity that is subject to European Union sanctions against Syria. We have detained the vessel and its cargo,” Picardo said.
Iran demands ‘immediate release’ of tanker held in Gibraltar, summons UK envoy
Iran demanded Friday that Britain immediately release an oil tanker it has detained in Gibraltar, accusing it of acting at the bidding of the United States.
A senior foreign ministry official “described the UK move as unacceptable” in a meeting with British ambassador Rob Macaire, who had been summoned to hear a formal protest, the ministry said in a statement.
He “called for the immediate release of the oil tanker, given that it has been seized at the request of the US, based on the information currently available,” the statement added.

Tehran threatens to seize British oil tanker if Iranian ship not released
A senior commander in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on Friday threatened to seize a British tanker if the UK doesn’t release the Iranian ship detained in Gibraltar on suspicion of carrying crude oil to Syria in violation of EU sanctions.
“If Britain does not release the Iranian oil tanker, it is the authorities duty to seize a British oil tanker,” tweeted Revolutionary Guards Maj. Gen. Mohsen Rezaei, who is also secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council, a powerful state body, according to the Reuters news agency.
“Islamic Iran in its 40-year history has never initiated hostilities in any battles but has also never hesitated in responding to bullies,” Rezaei wrote
The IRGC is the elite military unit, which answers only to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, that took responsibility for the downing of a US drone earlier this month.
Iran demanded earlier Friday that Britain immediately release the oil tanker, accusing it of acting at the bidding of the United States.

The unilateral move has sent tensions in the Gulf soaring as the administration of US President Donald Trump forges ahead with a policy of “maximum pressure” against Iran in coordination with its Middle East allies Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Core Hong Kong Protesters ‘Prepared To Die For Their Cause’ During Riots
A core group of radical protesters who led the violent siege of Hong Kong’s legislature on Monday were willing to die for their cause as martyrs, according to SCMP
Approximately ten ‘diehards’ with a ‘bring it on’ attitude had no qualms about facing police batons, rubber bullets or worse, as they broke into and trashed the Legislative Council building.
“The protesters at the front were willing to sacrifice themselves. They turned so violent, hoping police would use aggressive force against them or shoot them with rubber bullets or beanbag rounds,” said SCMP’s source, adding “If the individuals were badly injured or even killed, all the blame would have been placed on police so as to spark global condemnation, and eventually bring the whole administration down.”
Hong Kong leadership expects the radical group to organize future protests in order to spark future clashes with the police that may lead to their desired outcome.
They were among the dozens of protesters against the government’s now-suspended extradition bill who had already been identified and would be the target of a police operation to arrest those responsible.
The Post was told that officers from the Organised Crime and Triad Bureau were also trying to identify those behind this group. –SCMP
Hong Kong police made their first arrest on Wednesday after searching for those who used makeshift battering rams to smash the glass in front of the legislature – many of whom were wearing masks to avoid identification.
Another source said police were trying to identify hundreds of protesters both inside and outside the Legco building during the 11-hour siege who dispersed when officers in riot gear moved in, using tear gas.
No one was arrested during the one-hour clearance operation, and those occupying the Legco chamber had already fled. –SCMP
According to SCMP‘s source, police will next turn their efforts to less violent protesters, whether or not they were involved in vandalism.
“They broke the law as they attended an unlawful assembly. If it is classified as a riot in future, they may also face the charge of taking part in riot,” said the source.
The Monday siege of the Hong Kong Legislative Council made worldwide headlines, as mostly young protesters raged against an extradition bill which would have allowed the transfer of fugitives to mainland China and other places with which Hong Kong has no extradition arrangements.

Germany: A Shocking Degree of Self-Censorship
  • There appears to be a significant gap between what Germans say in public and what they think…. Fifty-seven percent of Germans say that it is getting on their nerves that they are “increasingly being told what to say and how to behave”.
  • “It makes a big difference… whether citizens feel that they are increasingly being watched and evaluated… Many citizens miss being respected in the sense that they want their concerns and positions to be taken seriously, [and] that important developments are openly discussed…” — From a survey on self-censorship in Germany, conducted by Institut für Demoskopie Allensbach.
  • This retreat [from respect for free speech], so far, culminated in 2018 with Germany’s censorship law, which requires social media platforms to delete or block any alleged online “criminal offenses”, such as defamation or incitement, within 24 hours of receipt of a user complaint. If the platforms fail to do so, the German government can fine them up to 50 million euros. People in Germany have been prosecuted for criticizing the government’s migration policies….
  • Dániel Tóth-Nagy, a candidate for the Liberal Democrats in the UK, was suspended from the party for comments he made, such as: “There is no such thing as Islamophobia,” and, in response to a tweet, “What about FGM? Honor Killings? Forced marriage? What do you think about the protest of women in Iran, Saudi-Arabia and other Islamic countries against the compulsory hijab? What about Sharia in Britain? LGBT rights and education denied by Muslims in Birmingham?”
new survey on self-censorship in Germany has shown that Germans censor their own speech to an astounding degree. Asked whether it is “possible to express oneself freely in public” a mere 18% answered yes. By contrast, 59% of Germans said that in their circle of friends and acquaintances they express themselves freely.
“Nearly two-thirds of citizens are convinced that ‘today one has to be very careful on which topics one expresses oneself’, because there are many unwritten laws about what opinions are acceptable and admissible” accordingto the survey, conducted by Institut für Demoskopie Allensbach for the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ).
“The refugee issue is one of the most sensitive topics for the vast majority of respondents, followed by statements of opinion on Muslims and Islam,” it stated. By contrast, “The situation is different when it comes to topics such as climate protection, equal rights, unemployment or child rearing, about which one can express oneself frankly, according to the overwhelming majority”. As an example, 71% of Germans say, according to the survey, that one can only comment on the refugee issue “with caution”.
“Remarkably many [Germans] have the impression that social control has been reinforced when it comes to statements of opinion in the public sphere and that individual statements and behaviour are increasingly under observation,” the survey notes. “Every second citizen is convinced that today much more attention is paid to how one behaves in public and what one says. 41 percent say that political correctness is exaggerated, and 35 percent even conclude that free expression is only possible in private circle

California ‘could face even BIGGER quake within days’
California could be hit by another, even more powerful earthquake within days after southern California was rocked by its worst tremor in 20 years on Thursday, experts believe.
Geologists say yesterday’s 6.4-magnitude quake is likely to produce a forceful 5.5-strength aftershock and a series of smaller tremors – and could even prompt a larger one.
In addition, officials admitted that a new Los Angeles earthquake warning app had not sent out a public alert despite the most powerful Southern California quake since 1999.
The Shake-Alert system detected the quake but did not trigger a public warning because the magnitude was less than 5.0 in Los Angeles, city bosses said.
The Fourth of July quake cracked roads, caused fires and broke power lines, although there were no serious injuries reported.
Today residents in the small desert city of Ridgecrest were set to begin the clean-up while two houses were damaged by fire from broken gas pipes.
The quake also drew the attention of a series of California-based celebrities, including Trevor Noah, Ashley Tisdale, and Ava DuVernay, who said: ‘That was the longest earthquake I’ve ever experienced.’
Speaking to SFGate, U.S. Geological Survey expert Susan Hough said: ‘For a 6.5 quake you’d expect a lot of aftershocks. You’d expect the biggest to be 5.5 and so far the biggest has been 4.7.
‘With any earthquake, there is a 5 percent chance something even bigger will happen within the next three days. If it did, it would be in the same remote area.’
Los Angeles city bosses have promised to revamp the ShakeAlert system after residents did not receive a notification about the quake.
‘The ShakeAlert app only sends alerts if shaking is 5.0+ in LA County. Epicenter was 6.4 in Kern County, USGS confirms LA’s shaking was 4.5,’ a statement said.
‘We hear you and will lower the alert threshold.’
ShakeAlert detected the quake, giving 48 seconds of warning to the seismology lab before the shaking arrived in Pasadena.
Officials in San Bernardino County said the quake caused water mains to break, downed power lines, cracked buildings and caused rock slides on roads.
In the small desert city of Ridgecrest near the epicenter of the 6.4 magnitude earthquake, grocery store aisles were littered with smashed bottles, jars and packages.
‘I mopped up over 20 gallons of wine that fell over in addition to the beer, soda and the cooler that fell over. We have several thousand dollars worth of damage,’ said shopkeeper James Wilhorn.
Water gushed up from zigzagged cracks in the pavement from busted water lines, while deep fissures snaked across the Mojave Desert.
People from Las Vegas to the Pacific Coast reported feeling a rolling motion that shook shower doors and made hanging dining room lights sway.
At least four large aftershocks have been recorded, measuring 4.7, 3.5, 3.8 and 4.2 magnitude, officials said.

Jerusalem is Israel’s Capital
“Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.”
Why does that simple six-word statement raise such controversy? Can most of the world really be wrong to deny Jerusalem’s capital status? What exactly are the counter-arguments, and how effective is Israel at balancing principle and pragmatism in the city?
And does all the fuss — about the city’s political and legal status, the diplomatic missions, the conflicting claims — even really matter?
Countries choose their capital and place most — if not all — of the main offices of government in that city. Period.
In most instances, the seat of executive, parliamentary, judicial and administrative authority is concentrated in that city. It’s where embassies are located and where visiting foreign officials meet the state leaders. Some capitals, such as London, Buenos Aires, or Bangkok, also happen to be the country’s center of population, economy or culture. Other capitals, such as Canberra or Brasilia, take a back seat to Sydney and Rio de Janeiro in those matters.
Countries which have changed capital cities are perfectly normal. Countries with multiple capitals are less common but accepted as well, dividing the seats of power executive, legislative, judicial and administrative power as they see fit.
Bottom line: The capital is wherever a country decides to make it. It makes no difference what other states say about that choice. That’s the standard behaviour.
So how did Jerusalem become the capital of ancient Jewish kingdoms and today’s modern Israel?
Jerusalem came under Israelite control when King David conquered the city (Samuel II, ch. 5.) and relocated his throne there from Hebron (ch. 6). His son, King Solomon, would build the First Temple years later. When the biblical kingdom split between Judah and Israel (Kings I ch. 12), Jerusalem remained the capital of Judah.
In 597 BCE, Nebuchanezzar sacked Jerusalem, destroyed the Temple, and exiled the Jews to Babylonia. But Cyrus II of Persia allowed the Jews to return to Judah and rebuild the Temple, as described in the Books of Ezra and Nehemiah..
Fast forward to 140 BCE, when the Hasmoneans, a priestly family, rebelled against the Seleucid King Antiochus IV and purified the Temple in events commemorated by the holiday of Chanukah. The Hasmonean dynasty ruled from Jerusalem for a little over 100 years before the family was destroyed by the Romans, who installed Herod the Great as king. The Jews revolted against Roman rule, but the uprising was crushed in 70 CE.
From 70 CE until 1948, a period of almost 2,000 years, Jerusalem was ruled by the Romans, Byzantines, Umayyads, Abbasids, Fatimids, Seljuks, Crusaders, Ayyubids, Mamluks, Ottomans and the British. The city never served as a political, administrative or religious capital for any of its conquerors.
Jerusalem served as the capital for the Jews, and nobody else.
In November, 1947, the United Nations voted to partition Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states and establish Jerusalem as an international city under UN auspices. As British forces left the Holy Land in May, 1948, Israel declared independence and the Arabs attacked. Jordanian forces isolated Jerusalem, but failed to fully capture it.
Thus, Tel Aviv initially served as Israel’s capital, with the Provisional State Council (Moetzet Hamedina Hazmanit) convening at various Tel Aviv venues.
The War of Independence ended with an armistice in February, 1949. The armistice lines were far different from the borders envisioned by the Partition Plan. And Jerusalem, instead of being internationalized, was now divided between Israel and Jordan. After the war, the UN began discussions on how to implement the internationalization of Jerusalem, prompting prime minister David Ben Gurion’s announcement in December 1949 that the Israeli capital would be moved to Jerusalem:
A nation that, for two thousand and five hundred years, has faithfully adhered to the vow made by the first exiles by the waters of Babylon not to forget Jerusalem, will never agree to be separated from Jerusalem. Jewish Jerusalem will never accept alien rule after thousands of its youngsters liberated their historic homeland for the third time, redeeming Jerusalem from destruction and vandalism.
In the 3,000 or so years of Jerusalem’s history, the city was only divided for a 19-year period. The armistice which ended the War of Independence left Israel in control of the city’s western neighborhood and Jordan in control of the city’s eastern neighborhoods. Israel made its capital in the western half of Jerusalem.
But that changed in June, 1967. While Israel launched a preemptive air strike on the Egyptian Air Force, Israel conveyed a message to Jordan’s King Hussein asking him to stay out of the fighting. But the king believed Egyptian president Gamel Abdel Nasser’s denials of significant Egyptian losses and ordered Jordanian forces to launch attacks on Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces counter-attacked, recapturing eastern Jerusalem and driving Jordanian forces to the Jordan River’s East Bank.
Jerusalem was reunited and entirely under Israeli control.
Professor Eugene Kontorovich explains why the 1949 armistice line — more commonly known as the Green Line — has no bearing on the city’s capital status.
The “Green Line” was created in the wake of Israel’s 1948-49 War of Independence. Upon the country’s founding, Jordan and its allies invaded, with the goal of preventing the creation of a Jewish state. Although they failed at that goal, the Arab armies did occupy significant territory when the armistice was called, including what is now widely referred to as the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Jordan subsequently expelled all Jews from the areas under its control.
In 1967, during the Six Day War, Israel recaptured these places. But in the war’s aftermath the United Nations invested the temporary 1949 armistice line with talismanic significance. The U.N. claimed Israel was “occupying” the territory that Jordan had forcibly seized not two decades earlier. Thus the international community came up with a unique demand: Israel had to keep the areas under its control, including East Jerusalem and the Old City, free of Jewish inhabitants. Any move to unify Jerusalem would be considered a war crime.
In international law, armistice lines are not borders; they merely mark breaks in the fighting. The claim that the Green Line created a permanent “Judenrein” zone in the area occupied by Jordan, or that it in any way changed the legal status of the territory on the far side, is unique and illiberal.
Thus, as Ambassador Alan Baker summed up:
The 1967 unification of Jerusalem by Israel through the extension of its law, jurisdiction, and administration to eastern Jerusalem, while not accepted by the international community, did not alter the legality of Israel’s presence and status in, and governance of, the city

New Vatican Constitution To Centralize Power Under Petrus Romanus As DICTATORIAL “SUPREME PONTIFF”
SkyWatch Editor
The draft text lays down that a curial department “cannot issue laws or general decrees having the force of law, nor can it deviate from the prescriptions of the universal law” except on a case-by-case basis “approved specifically by the Supreme Pontiff.” It further provides that any “important, rare, and extraordinary affairs” cannot be treated by the prefect of the dicastery unless and until he has cleared the matter with the pope and received his approval. Legally, this means that the pope must personally approve every authoritative decision to emerge from a curial department – an historic recentralization of Roman power into the person of the pope.  “Imagine if the American president said that every binding decision taken by an executive department had to cross his desk and receive his personal approval… (READ MORE:)

Pope Francis unleashes his inner pagan in Pan-Amazonian document laying foundation for ‘new’ Church
The Vatican has released the preparatory document for its upcoming Pan-Amazonian Synod of bishops in October, and it contains yet another window into Pope Francis’ green-friendly worldview in which he subtely and deceptively turns traditional, biblical Christianity on its head.
You will recall that just a couple of months ago a group of more than 30 Catholic scholars and clergy signed an open letter to the bishops, pleading that they hold the pope accountable for his anti-Christian, anti-Catholic teachings with regard to marriage, moral teaching, etc. They declared him guilty of at least seven heresies.
The Pan-Amazonian document, titled Instumentum Laboris, will do nothing to assuage the fears of these 30-plus brave Catholic leaders. It’s classic Francis, peppered with radical political ideas cloaked in religious verbiage and lovingly promoted as “ecotheology.”
  • In paragraph #98 c) 3,“training centers” in the Amazon where “The teaching of pan-Amazonian indigenous theology is requested in all educational institutions.”
  • In paragraph #98 b) 1.“…it is suggested to integrate indigenous theology and ecotheology that prepares them for listening and open dialogue where evangelization takes place.”
  • In paragraph #98 d) 1:  “It is requested to deepen an existing Amazonian Indian theology, which will allow a better and greater understanding of indigenous spirituality to avoid committing the historical errors that ran over many original cultures.”
  • The document exalts the Amazonians’ desire to “live in harmony with nature, in dialogue with spirits.” (#75)
Reading through Instrumentum laboris, I came away with the impression that Western Christendom, defined by its capitalism and colonialism, represents the world’s sinners while the pagan Amazonian Indians represent the saints. We Christians need to be evangelized by them as much as they by us.
The document is fraught with references to “Mother Earth” while touting a “New Pentecost” based on the “diversity of religion and culture” in the Amazon region of South America that Francis sees as a template for the world.
You will recall that just a few months ago we reported that Pope Francis met with the spiritual leader of the world’s most important institution on Islamic law, Grand Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb of Egypt’s al-Azhar University, and assured him that Islam would get the Vatican’s utmost respect as a religion of peace. Islam is part of the “diversity of religions” that are “willed by God,” the pope and his Muslim partner wrote in their Catholic-Islamic pact.
There are too many disturbing passages in the pre-synod document to go into here but I recommend all Christians read it and familiarize themselves with the vernacular of the current push toward creating a global religion that all can buy into.
The pope and his co-laborers at the United Nations truly intend to leave no religion behind. It doesn’t matter if you are Buddhist, Hindu, pagan, Christian, Jewish or Muslim. We’re all part of the same big family and we just need to learn how to peacefully co-exist in the burgeoning new world order.
But that’s not what you get from this papal document. It touts an “ecological conversion” which means “embracing the mystical-interconnected and interdependent nature of all creation.”
Exactly who are we supposed to be worshipping here? The Creator or the creation? From the language used by Francis, it’s confusing at best.
Just as the pope kissed the grand sheikh of al-Azhar and prayed in his mosque, it seems he is prepared to dance with the demons of pagan Amazon.
In fact, this Vatican document has more condemnation for European “colonizers” than it does for the pagan practices of the indigenous peoples.

UNDERTOW – By Pete Garcia –
Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name… So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelation 13:1, 4

Given the context of Revelation 13, we understand that the beast rising up out of the sea is that final world empire. We know this is an empire because of the consistency in the symbolism between Revelation 13 and Daniel 7-8, which portrays this beast(s) (a chimera) as representing actual kingdoms. At this particular point in time, the people worship the beast (whatever system this ends up being), but in actuality are worshipping the power behind the throne. Nevertheless, how many people do you know today who actually worship government? Aside from North Korea, who mandate the worship of the ruling Kim, and a few Obama-sycophants, governmental worship doesn’t really exist anywhere else in the world at the moment.
We know they are really worshipping Satan, because Revelation 12 confirms the identity of the dragon as Satan. My assumption is that they worship this final world system because there is some type of technological breakthrough that completely revolutionizes the way they live here on planet earth. It could be something supernatural, or technological, or both. It could be what the transhumanists refer to as the Singularity. For those who do not know what the Singularity is, former Google Director of Engineering and futurist Ray Kurzweil describes it as:
The Singularity is an era in which our intelligence will become increasingly nonbiological and trillions of times more powerful than it is today-the dawning of a new civilization that will enable us to transcend our biological limitations and amplify our creativity.
Whatever shape it comes in, we cannot be 100% sure at present, but we do know this final system comes up out of the sea of humanity…meaning, it is a transnational system.
This could represent a coalescing of regional autonomy within a global organization like the United Nations. It has seven heads (regions of authority) and ten horns (seats of power), and ten crowns (people who sit in these seats of authority). A small body of ten leaders governs a multi-regional system united under some overarching governance. The Antichrist, who then comes from out of this group, is able to subdue three leaders (seats), and secures a majority rule, which he ends up taking over completely. (Rev. 17:9-14)
So given that introduction, we know according to Scripture, that it is not until the mid-way point that Satan actually comes down to inhabit this man we know as Antichrist. However, why does he (Satan) wait until the midpoint? Clearly, the Antichrist is Satan’s ‘go-to’ man from the outset, but I believe (along with many others) that it is only at the midway point that a number of different events transpire simultaneously forcing Satan’s agenda in a direction he doesn’t want to go. The arrival of the Two Witnesses, the Antichrist’s “miraculous” recovery after an assassination attempt, the angelic war in heaven and their subsequent expulsion. Now, Satan is earthbound, and then (and only then) does he personally possess this man Antichrist.
Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time. Revelation 12:12

Undertow: noun un·der·tow \-ˌtō
  1. the current beneath the surface that sets seaward or along the beach when waves are breaking upon the shore
  2. an underlying current, force, or tendency that is in opposition to what is apparent
It appears to me that there is a bit of foot-dragging by Satan in wanting this all to play out. Yes, he wants to thwart God’s plan by destroying and corrupting humanity, but he has also read the Book (see Luke 4:9-11) and at least peripherally understands where this is all headed. I am not saying that he agrees with the Bible, understands it, or even believes it…but at the very least, he is aware of what it says. Revelation 12:12 confirms that he knows he has very little time left to fight this.
Given that premise, we should know that the frustration amongst many prophecy teachers, particularly over the past 16 years, is the frustrating mixture between the seeming immediacy of clear prophetic events such as a one-world currency/ religion/government, the Psalm 83-Ezekiel 38 wars, etc., and then the lack of fulfillment of these same prophetic events. Simultaneous to this, is the unstoppable march forward, making these events more of a matter of when, not if. There is a war to both move the satanic agenda forward, but also a satanic attempt to frustrate the prophetic fulfillment by trying to circumvent it through schemes and plotting’s.
For instance, we know that Satan does not know the future, so he always has to have a man in the wings ready to play the role of The Antichrist. During the 1920’s-1940’s, the man seemingly being groomed for that position was Adolph Hitler. It seemed initially, that the tide of time and events were on his side until God raised up the United States to thwart his (Satan’s) plans to exterminate the Jewish race via the Final Solution.
However, despite Hitler’s best efforts with the Holocaust and six-million dead, what his actions really brought about was the prophetic fulfillment of the Jewish state of Israel. Had he not attempted to exterminate an entire race, the world would not have supported the political rebirth of a once-dead ancient nation. In fact, the newly formed United Nations still only supported this initiative by a very slim margin…but it was just enough for God’s purposes to work out…as predicted! (Isaiah 11:11; Amos 9:15)
Looking back, even the disciples had a difficult time understanding the Messiah’s divinely appointed task and purpose. They did not know because the Old Testament (OT) for the most part (one exception being Daniel 9:24-27) does not present the prophetic events linearly and/or chronologically. Prophecy in the OT is sort of all over the place, and it really does take God’s help for us to understand how the OT prophecies fit into and complete the events in the NT. This is why when Peter stated that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of the living God, Jesus answered and said to him,
  3. “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. ( 16:17)
The main distinction from the OT prophetically speaking is how the NT presents the information. For instance, Matthew 1:21-23 points back to Isaiah 7:14 as the clear fulfillment of the arrival of the Messiah. Jesus outlines the order of end-times events systematically in the Olivet Discourse. In his letters to the church at Thessalonica, the Apostle Paul clearly outlines the order of events between the Rapture and the Tribulation (chapters 4-5) and again in his second epistle to them (chapter 2). The Apostle John was given the Revelation in a highly symbolized, but also decidedly chronological and structured order of events beginning with the things he saw (the resurrected and glorified Christ), the things which are (the seven churches), and then the Seal Judgments all the way until the last Bowl Judgment. Then that is followed by the battle at Armageddon, the visible Second Coming, the millennial reign of Christ, and then eternity-future.
So compared to the OT’s Major and Minor Prophets, the New Testament is very clear, both chronologically, and contextually. True, there are still some concepts and doctrines in the NT that are not completely understandable by us mere mortals such as the Incarnation, the Trinity, and the timing of certain things, but there is definitely an order and a chronological method to the makeup of the prophetic NT Scripture.
Given what the Bible has to say about Satan, we know that he was the highest order of creation before the man Adam was formed out of the dust of the earth. We also know that he is exceedingly intelligent, deceitful, and crafty (Gen. 3:1-2, Ezekiel 28:12, Rev. 12:9). Remember that at the beginning (tower of Babel), this one-world concept was initially his. It was his evil plan then, because he did not understand what God’s plan was yet.
But now, Satan knows. You want to know why the world is as divided, violent, hateful, and broken as it is, it is because the last thing Satan wants is a one-world system. Do not get me wrong on this, the world has been given over to Satan (Luke 4:5-6; 1 John 5:19), and he hates God, hates Christians, and really hates the Jewish people. This is why one of the most prevalent and undisputed prophetic markers we see today is not some major war or supernatural phenomenon, but apostasy. Satan realized early on, that persecution causes Christianity to spread like a wildfire…but spiritual and theological corruption…oh that was much more effective.
A one-world system is what man wants and has since Babel, and man is still a free agent in this game of thrones. Satan knows where this will all lead, and he will continue to attempt to frustrate this march towards a final, one-world system until that is inevitable. At present, he is being dragged kicking and screaming out to sea. The sea, which represents this final, global system and the closer we get to it, the more it validates what the Bible says about his impending doom.
There have been three key, technological inventions/discoveries that have made this march towards globalism not only possible, but also inevitable, the harnessing of electricity, the mapping of human DNA, and the Internet. Each of these have been monumental paradigm shifts in human history and have unlocked so much potential change, that it cannot be undone. Obviously, harnessing electricity has allowed the world to advance its technological processes. Mapping the human DNA has unlocked the potential for man to alter himself through some misguided ideals on progressive evolution. The internet has leapfrogged man’s ability to gather, assess, and use information in ways never possible before.
There is also one geo-political issue that is a clear reaction against globalism, and that is regionalism. I know that might sound odd given the recent rise in populism and nationalism, as well as the Brexit and Donald Trump victories. Nevertheless, the world is way too interconnected these days to ever go back to that type of pre- World War I global model. We (the United States and western powers) want to partner with like-minded nations. The same goes for Islamic, socialist and communist nations as they help prop up like-minded countries.
With that said, the march towards globalism has for the moment, swung back hard right to that of populism, which will lead right back to where the Bible said we would be…regionalism. This regionalism is represented by the seven heads, ten horns, and ten crowns, but will ultimately fall under one system led by a single man, Antichrist. How does this happen, if Satan is actively working to postpone it? Well, like most everything else, there is a process.
  4. The Rapture will force a massive paradigm shift onto the world. Global and regional powers will have to realign in order to adjust to the reality that millions, perhaps even a billion persons suddenly disappear from the planet. The nation most affected by this will be the current world’s superpower, the United States.
  5. In the post-Rapture world, a supernatural delusion will be divinely enforced on those unrepentant left behind. God does this…not Satan. 2 Thess. 2:9-11
  6. The new geo-political paradigm shift will recognize that global organizations like the United Nations are too cumbersome and bureaucratic to ever be truly effective, so the next best thing would be to go to regional alliances.
  7. We know that at some point between the start and the half-way point of the Tribulation, there is an assassination of one of the leaders, who is then miraculously “resurrected.” The Satan is permanently kicked out of heaven and needs a body to possess (again, not his choice) a body and three of ten regional leaders end up submitting/ceding their authority to him thus ushering in the era of an absolute, one-world system.
So take comfort in the knowledge that despite the chaos, despite the seemingly endless tide of evil that is flooding the world we live in…that God has us exactly where He intended us to be at this final juncture in history. My intent was not to give the devil any credit, but to show that what we see on the surface is not always, what is really going on beneath. Therefore, let not your heart be troubled. Only God knows the future, and for those of us, who are born-again, are hidden in Christ…
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 1 Cor. 2:7-8

Until then, Maranatha (come Lord Jesus!)
