Mid-East Prophecy Update – April 28th, 2019 Pastor J.D. talks about our response to the increasing attacks on Christians.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6)
1Cor. 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: AND THAT NO MAN CAN SAY THAT JESUS IS THE LORD, BUT BY THE HOLY GHOST.
Eph. 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Eph. 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
Eph. 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption

Luke 12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them
(Romans 12:2) to seek God’s will, the Lord says, Do not worry about what you’ll eat or drink or wear. But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well
(Matt. 6:31-33).
Rev. 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth:

Is Earth’s Age Different Than Man’s?
QUESTION   First of all I would like to thank you for your site; it’s a rich source of wisdom. I agree with all your view and interpretations. However there is one which I believe needs more clarification.
I read an article concerning the debate over the earth’s age. In it (the author) makes many points which dismiss the possibility of the earth being 6000 years old. He then concludes that the gap theory could be the answer.
However I don’t agree. Almost all of the ‘facts’ he states require at least one of the following to exist between verses 1 and 2 in the bible; death to exist, land to be on the formless earth, vegetation to exist, people to exist and the speed of light to be constant.
However, (to be brief) there was no land for meteors to impact, or for volcanic explosions to erupt from. There was no sea coral slowly growing before God made plants.
My question is; how can we explain all these apparent ‘facts’ as they clearly do not have a place in the gap theory and neither do the fit in our biblical history. Please help me with this because if I was questioned on this matter I really don’t know how I could respond.
ANSWER:    The simple answer to your question is that there is no simple answer. By definition Science requires observation, and there weren’t any human observers when God created things. But here’s what we do know. According to Job 38:7, some portions of the creation had to have preceded Genesis 1 because the angels were there to observe it, and according to Isaiah 14:12-20, Ezekiel 28:11-19, & Luke 10:18 Lucifer was judged sometime in the ancient past.
We also know that our English translation of Genesis 1:2 is not free from controversy. Rather than saying “and the earth was formless and void” as most English Bibles do, some believe that a more literal translation of the Hebrew would read “but the Earth became formless and void.” If correct this would indicate that something caused the earth’s destruction at that time. This is a crucial point in the Gap Theory and is one of its components to which I subscribe. This destruction / re-construction view is supported by the only other places in Scripture where the Hebrews words for “formless and void” appear. In Isaiah 45:18 God said that He didn’t create Earth “formless” and in Jeremiah 4:23 Jeremiah sees the earth “formless and void” in the context of a judgment.
These things give some scholars justification for speculating that the rebellion and judgment of Satan occurred between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2, and that the earth became “formless and void” (the Hebrew literally means “an uninhabitable ruin”) for some undetermined period of time as a result of that judgment. If so, then the age of the planet would be much different than the age of civilization.
While the Bible doesn’t specifically confirm this, neither does it deny it, and this view creates no conflict with the Creation Story, which really begins in Genesis 1:3 with Day One.
I haven’t done enough research to agree or disagree with everything that this author wrote in his article, although I have found him to be a rational man in his beliefs, and not inclined to offer opinions lightly.
But I do agree that requiring Earth and Man to be the same age is not Biblically mandated and needlessly undermines our position in the evolution / creation debate. The idea that life evolved as evolutionists claim should be the laughable position, but some Creationists’ insistence that Earth and Man came on the scene together have the evolutionists laughing at us instead.
As to how to answer the questions of scoffers, I would say that neither Scientists nor Theologians have all the answers to questions about our origins. But the issue confronting us is not about our origin. It’s about our destiny and the alternatives are clear. It’s either believe God or don’t. Since we won’t know from experience that we made the right choice until it’s too late, believing God is the only logical thing to do. If believing Him is wrong, we’ll simply get the destiny that was always intended for us, no harm, no foul. But if we’re right, we’ll be blessed beyond measure.
However for unbelievers it’s just the opposite. If they’re right, they’ll just get the destiny always intended for them, but if they’re wrong they’ll burn in Hell forever. It’s a no-brainer.
You may not convince everybody, but you’ll at least have them looking in the right direction.

QUESTION:    In Isaiah 14:12 why is Lucifer referred to as the son of morning? I am reading the NKJV. Thank you for your help.
ANSWER:    Lucifer is a word of Latin origin that means “light bearer”. It comes from an early translation of the Hebrew phrase “Heylel ben Shachar” in Isaiah 14:12 where it’s used in reference to Satan. Heylel means “shining one”, in the sense of being boastful, and ben Shachar means “son of the dawn”. In 2 Cor. 11:14 Paul said this is a disguise Satan wears, masquerading as an angel of light in order to deceive us.
In the Bible, light is often used to symbolize spiritual knowledge and understanding. Jesus said,
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12)
In the end times, after the Church is gone, Satan will use his disguise to deceive those who are left behind into believing that it is he who brings light to the world, and not Jesus. Some scholars refer to this deception as the Luciferian doctrine.

Iran, Russia to hold joint maritime drills in Persian Gulf
Iran and Russia will conduct a joint maritime drill in the Persian Gulf, Iran’s Mehr Newsagency reported on Monday.
“Based on negotiations with the Russian Navy, the force will dispatch a fleet to the southern regions of Iran this year,” Commander of Iranian Army Navy Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi was quoting as saying without giving a date for the joint naval drills.
In early January, Khanzadi said that the two countries were preparing for a joint naval drill in the Caspian Sea region and that the drill would focused on tactical, relief and rescue and anti-piracy issues.
Earlier in the week Iranian Defense Minister Brig.-Gen. Amir Hatami met with his Russian counterpart General Sergey Shoygu on the sidelines of the 8th Moscow Conference on International Security (MCIS) in the Russian capital.
Fars News reported that during the meeting the new general “renewed the two countries’ determination to bolster military and defense cooperation” and discussed bilateral relations in both regional and international areas.
“Defense and security interactions between Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia are growing under the auspices of the leaders of the two countries,” Hatami was quoted as saying, adding that the two countries “enjoy high capacities and potentials for increasing bilateral interactions” in military and defense.
Shoigu meanwhile stressed the continued military consultation between Tehran and Moscow and called for increased interactions between the two armed forces.
“Cooperation and interaction of the two countries played an important role within the framework of Astana Peace Talks in the fight against terrorism and restoration of peace and security in Syria,” he was quoted as saying.
Russia which entered the conflict in 2015, views Iran as a key player in resolving the crisis in Syria, has  repeatedly emphasized the importance of the role that the Islamic Republic plays in the war-torn country.
Israeli officials have repeatedly voiced concerns over Iran’s entrenchment in Syria and the smuggling of sophisticated weaponry to Hezbollah from Tehran to Lebanon via Syria, stressing that both are red-lines for the Jewish State.
In February Israel’s Channel 12 reported that Iran was operating a precision missile factory built on the outskirts of Latakia near the Russian Khmeimim Air Force base with the help of the Syrian government and Hezbollah.
In an effort to prevent sophisticated weaponry from reaching Hezbollah, Israel frequently carries out airstrikes against Iran and its allies in Syria.
But in a recent interview with The Jerusalem Post Dr. Yossi Mansharof, Iran and Shiite militia expert at the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security said that the rivalry between Tehran and Moscow is becoming “more visible” in post-war Syria.
“Iran’s deputy FM Ansari recently declared that ‘Russia has never stood by Iran regarding Israel, Tehran and Moscow for now have shared interests in Syria but if the issue of Israel comes between them, they will part ways.’ This is an important declaration,” Mansharof said.

The contest over the Strait of Hormuz’s closure has begun at… Libya’s Ras Lanuf
Five of Iran’s top leaders have threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz to oil traffic. Why is President Donald Trump unfazed in his resolve to tighten sanctions on the Islamic Republic?
On Sunday, April 28, Iran’s armed forces chief of staff Gen. Mohammed Bagheri said: “We are not after closing the Strait of Hormuz. If our oil does not go through the strait, other countries’ oil will certainly not cross the strait too.” Bagheri was echoing supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, President Hassan Rouhani, foreign minister Mohammed Javad Zarif and Guards Navy chief Rear Adm. Alireza Tangsiri.
Unfazed by this collective threat, the Trump administration has not backed off from its decision to cancel the oil embargo exemptions granted to eight of Iran’s biggest oil importers, including China, India and South Korea. In fact, a new set of penalties are in store.
DEBKAfile’s sources report that the cancellation of the waivers will slash Iran’s oil sales down from 1.1m barrels per day to half a million. But that’s just for starters. The next round of penalties aims to lower the figure to zero.
No one in Washington or the Middle East expects the Iranians to take the loss of their primary source of income lying down. And so the US is making plans accordingly.
  1. On Saturday, April 27, US Central Command chief Gen. Kenneth McKenzie  stated: “The United States would deploy the necessary resources to counter any dangerous actions by Iran.”
  2. The US administration is in full-flight of an effort to replace Iranian oil with alternative energy supplies to the world markets while holding oil prices down from flying out of control. Even the partial closure of the two energy choke points for exported Gulf oil – at the Strait of Hormuz or the Bb al-Mandeb entrance to the Red Sea – is liable to send oil prices shooting up. For instance, each added dollar on the world energy market adds $4bn of extra revenue to the coffers of the Russian government, which is itself under US sanction.
Saudi Arabia and the other oil-rich Gulf nations are currently in no position to raise output to cover the loss from Iran – mainly because of their commitments to OPEC and Moscow. The Trump administration therefore cast about for a regular, preferably stable, source for at least half a million barrels of all a day to cover the shortfall. The solution was found in Washington’s first intervention in the Libyan crisis since Trump’s predecessor Barack Obama contrived the downfall of Muammar Qaddafi.
On April 4, President Trump put in a phone call to Gen. Khalifa Haftar, head of the Libyan National Army (LNA) militia fighting to conquer the Libyan capital, Tripoli. At this peak moment of the turbulent Libyan civil war, Haftar, backed by Russia, Egypt, the UAE and France, is fighting to unseat the national government sponsored by the UN and Italy. Trump and his advisers reckon that Haftar’s LNA, which already controls Libya’s eastern and southern oil fields, is capable of also seizing its main oil terminals at Ras Lanuf and Es Sidr on the Mediterranean (see map).
On Sunday, April 24, as the battles for these key targets between the LNA and government forces intensified, US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said in an interview to Face the Nation that this was having an “unnerving effect in the region.”
To secure the port facilities of Ras Lanuf, in Libya’s key Oil Crescent region and one of the world’s crucial maritime oil export points, Haftar on Sunday sent an Alkarama patrol vessel to the port. The oil trade in the country divided by the civil war is operated by the National Oil Corporation (NOC), which tries to position itself as a neutral side in a conflict between the LNA and the Government of National Accord (GNA), operating across the entire country, sending the profits to the Tripoli-based central bank, but also a portion to public servants in the LNA-controlled lands

Two US Navy Warships Transit Taiwan Strait
The US military said it sent two Navy warships through the Taiwan Strait on Sunday as the Pentagon increases the frequency of movement through the strategic waterway despite opposition from China, Reuters reports.
“The ships’ transit through the Taiwan Strait demonstrates the U.S. commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific,” Commander Clay Doss, a spokesman for the US Navy’s Seventh Fleet, said in a statement as cited by Reuters.
The two destroyers were identified as the William P. Lawrence and Stethem, Reuters report says.
Doss said there were no unsafe or unprofessional interactions with other countries’ vessels during the transit.
In March the US reportedly sent the naval destroyer USS Curtis Wilbur and the Coast Guard cutter Bertholf through the Taiwan Strait to demonstrate the US’ commitment to freedom of navigation operations in the region.
The US Navy continues to conduct freedom of navigation operations in the disputed waters of the South China Sea, which Chinese authorities consider a provocation.
Mainland China has repeatedly called on the US to steer clear of the 110-mile-wide strait over concerns of military support being given to Taiwan. Although the island has been a self-governing nation since 1949, China has continually looked upon Taiwan as a wayward province needing to be brought back into the fold.
The Taiwan Strait divides Taiwan from mainland China. Beijing considers Taiwan to be part of a united China. Relations between the two sides were cut in 1949 after the remnants of Chiang Kai-shek’s forces fled to the island following their defeat on the mainland. Ties were partially restored in the 1980s.

Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry Says Concerned Over Threats to Close Strait of Hormuz
Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Jarallah expressed concern over Iranian threats to close the Strait of Hormuz.
“We are concerned over these threats and [are] always trying to prevent tensions in our region,” Jarallah said on Sunday, as quoted by the KUNA news agency.
Last week, the head of the Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy Force, Alireza Tangsiri, said that Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz- if the country was unable to use it, according to Fars News Agency.
The statement came amid growing tensions between Tehran and Washington, as earlier in April, the US blacklisted Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation, while the Islamic Republic retaliated by officially designating the US Central Command (CENTCOM) as terrorists.
The Strait of Hormuz, a narrow stretch of water between the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman, is considered one of the world’s most important choke points for world oil trade. More than 18 million barrels of oil pass through the narrow waterway each day, accounting for 30 percent of the world’s oil shipments by sea, according to the US Energy Information Administration.
The Iranian oil trade was hit by last May’s decision by US President Donald Trump to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal, triggering  the reinstatement of the country’s Iran sanctions.
Two rounds of sanctions have been put into effect since then, including large-scale restrictions on exports of Iranian oil.
The United States wants all countries to eventually cut their imports of Iranian oil to zero, which will likely have a significant impact on the country, where oil exports serve as one of the main sources of revenue.

From Hamas Rockets in Sderot to Antisemitic Gunmen in California
The Dahan family emigrated to America after suffering for years under Hamas rocket fire, only to nearly lose their daughter at the hands of a rabidly antisemitic gunman.
The California synagogue that was shot up by a 19-year-old white supremacist on Saturday had a large number of Israeli congregants.
An American-Jewish woman was tragically killed, and the local rabbi and two Israeli congregants were wounded. Among them was 8-year-old Noya Dahan, whose face and leg was hit by shrapnel.
The girl’s family had originally lived in Sderot, where they came under regular Hamas rocket fire from the nearby Gaza Strip. Noya’s father, Israel Dahan, told Israel Radio that their house in Sderot had been hit several times, and that he had been wounded in a terrorist rocket attack.
That situation had prompted the family to leave Israel for California several years ago.
But on Saturday, the family realized that the had “come from fire to fire,” Dahan told Israel Radio. “It can happen anywhere.”
Also wounded was Noya’s uncle, Almog Peretz, who had likewise left Sderot for the perceived safety of California.
Speaking to Israel Channel 12 News, Peretz recalled, “A person with a big rifle, like an M16, entered the synagogue and started shooting everywhere. At first we thought the ceiling had collapsed, but then I turned around and saw he was aiming his weapon at me. There were many small kids next to me. I took a little girl who was our neighbor and three nieces of mine and ran. I opened the back door and we ran with all the children to a building in the back. I hid them in that building. As I picked up the girl, the terrorist aimed his weapon at me. I was injured in the leg.”
Both Noya and her uncle Almog are in stable condition.

60 Palestinians injured during clash with IDF forces at Gaza border
The ongoing Friday protests, which the Palestinians call ‘March of Return’, began on March 30th and has seen over half a million people violently demonstrating along the security fence with Israel.
Some 60 Palestinians were reportedly injured during clashes with IDF forces across the Gaza border, the Palestinian Ministry of Health and Israeli media reported on Friday.

Roughly 8,000 Palestinians confronted the troops in the clashes, Walla reported – protesters threw stones and explosives devices on the IDF soldiers. No casualties were reported.

The ongoing Friday protests, which the Palestinians call “March of Return,” began on March 30, 2018, and have seen more than half a million people violently demonstrating along the security fence with Israel, demanding an end to the 12-year-long blockade of the Gaza Strip.
As the Middle East waits to the unveiling of the US peace plan, commonly refereed to as the ‘Deal of the Century’ by the Trump administration, special US envoy Jason Greenblatt called on Palestinian leaders not to reject it before they read it and announced it does not involve giving up a portion of the Sinai, which is part of Egypt, or a part of Jordan to create the future Palestinian state.

Central Banking Is Central Planning
Authored by Richard Ebeling via The American Institute for Economic Research,
At a time when the appeal of and demands for a new “democratic” socialism seem to have caught the imagination of many among the young and are reflected in the promises of a good number of political candidates running for high office, there is one already-existing socialist institution in America with few opponents: the Federal Reserve System.
The fact is, central banking is a form of central planning.
The Federal Reserve has a legal monopoly over the monetary system of the United States. It plans the quantity of money in circulation and its availability for lending purposes; and it sets a target for the annual rate of price inflation (currently around 2 percent), while also intentionally influencing interest rates, affecting investment spending, and supporting full employment.
Almost all discussions and debates concerning the Federal Reserve revolve around how it should undertake its monetary central planning: which policy tools should be used, what target goals should be aimed for, and who should be in charge of directing America’s central bank.
Today we are dependent on the decisions of a handful of central-planning executives on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve. What is their guide? The personal judgments of what they think the economy needs, based upon the prevailing macroeconomic theories used in the central bank about how the economy works and therefore how much money should be pumped into the banking system.
Our monetary fate is dependent upon whether the central bank experts, this year, are old-style Keynesians, new Keynesians, monetarists, new classical economists, Taylor-rule followers, supply-siders, new modern monetary theorists, or any number of other possibilities. In the old Soviet Union, it all depended upon whether Stalinists or Trotskyites were to be in charge; for the central planning of scientific research, genetics was or was not considered compatible with Marxism-Leninism as interpreted by the leadership of “the Party.”
Just as it is said that central banking needs to be independent so the “objective” and scientific monetary “experts” can guide the economy based on the latest and “correct” macroeconomic models, it was insisted under Soviet and all other socialisms-in-practice that it was all objective and scientific, being based on Marxian dialectical materialism, given what that meant in any particular situation. It’s all a politics and ideology of planning. A few say they know what is right for the many, and will use government to give it to them.
Just as Soviet central planners may have believed that they could coordinate it all for better and more successful outcomes than market economies, our central bankers never fail in their enthusiasm and arrogant confidence that this time they will get it right, that they “now” have the right macroeconomic model of how it all works; they, finally, have bigger and better statistical data and computer capacity to successfully read and measure the entrails of the economic goose. (See my articles ”Macro Aggregates Hide the Real Market Processes at Work” and “The Myth of Aggregate Demand and Supply.”
What they, in fact, bring about are the inflations and recessions, the booms and busts that they insist they are in the central banking business to moderate, if not to prevent. By their fruits you will know them: the post-World War I inflation and depression; the 1920s false promise of prosperity and stability, followed by the Great Depression; the booms and busts of inflations and recessions in the 1950s; the monetary inflation of the 1960s and especially the high price inflation of the late 1970s and early 1980s; then a relative calm in the 1990s, but followed by the monetary expansion between 2003 and 2008 that set the stage for the great financial and housing crisis of 2008-10; and now the great experiment with “quantitative easing” and the ballooning Federal Reserve asset portfolio filled with private sector mortgages. (See my article “Ten Years On: Recession, Recovery, and the Regulatory State.”)
The long history of central banking, and especially over the last 100 years of paper monies and out-of-control government deficit spending partly funded by “monetization” of the debt, has more than clearly demonstrated that the epoch of modern central banking needs to come to an end. And in its place, we need the opening and freeing of financial markets to private competitive free banking, with markets — meaning all of us — deciding what we want to use as money. (See my eBook Monetary Central Planning and the State.)

Notre Dame architect: Blaze was no accident
When the Fox News Channel’s Shepard Smith hung up on French politician and media analyst Philippe Karsenty during live coverage of the Notre Dame Cathedral blaze, authorities already were speculating the catastrophe that gripped the world was caused by an accident.
Although speculation is the coin of the cable-news realm, an indignant Smith wanted nothing to do with Karsenty providing context to the April 15 fire – nearly 2,000 attacks on French churches in two years – that would suggest an alternative cause should be considered.
And, in fact, as Karsenty pointed out in a phone interview from France with WND, a former chief architect of the Notre Dame – whose analysis has been virtually ignored – believes the accident theory makes no sense.
Karsenty told WND he was “shocked” when Smith abruptly ended the interview.
“I just wanted to put it in context,” he said, referring to the surge of attacks on churches. “And then I said, nevertheless, the media are lecturing us an hour after it started, saying it can only be unintentional.
“I didn’t say it was a terrorist attack. I didn’t say it was criminal,” Karsenty recalled to WND.
The French media analyst said he couldn’t have imagined such censorship “would happen in the United States.”
“I thought I was with the free-media outlet in the land of freedom. And then I was cut off.”
Karsenty, 52, is the founder of the French media watchdog Media-Ratings and a councilor of the city of Neuilly-sur-Seine, a suburb of Paris.
Among the more recent of the nearly 2,000 attacks on churches in the past two years were a fire in Saint-Sulpice church in Paris, human feces smeared on a wall in Notre-Dame-des-Enfants in Nimes and the vandalization of the organ at Saint-Denis basilica outside the French capital.
Karsenty pointed out that while Paris public prosecutor Rémy Heitz has said from the beginning that he believes the fire was an accident, the former Notre Dame architect, Benjamin Mouton, insists that theory makes no sense.
In a live broadcast April 16 on the French TV network LCI, Mouton explained that the oak timbers that made up the cathedral’s roof had become hardened after more than 800 years and wouldn’t burn easily.
“You would need a lot of kindling to succeed,” said Mouton, who served as the chief architect from 2000 to 2013. “It stupefies me.”
Authorities suspect some type of electrical fire sparked the blaze, but Mouton believes that’s not possible.
“In the ’90s, we updated all the electrical wiring of Notre Dame. So there is no possibility of a short circuit,” he said. “We updated to conform with the contemporary norms, even going very far – all the detection and protection systems against fire in the cathedral.”
Last Thursday, investigators were allowed inside the cathedral for the first time, and a French police official told the New York Times nothing was being ruled out. They are focusing on the possibility of a short-circuit by electrified bells near the spire or cigarette butts left by workers carrying out renovation.
A bells specialist at the French Ministry of Culture, Regis Singer, said it’s plausible that the fire started in the bells in the spire.
But Nicolas Gueury, who electrified another set of bells in the cathedral in 2007, told the Times he thought about that possibility but has ruled it out.
“For me, this would be impossible,” he said, pointing out that numerous redundant safeguards, including circuit breakers and shielding, were installed.
“It was draconian. We tripled the precautions,” he said.
“We were all hyper-prudent. You don’t do just anything in the forest,” he said, referring to the medieval timbers that supported the roof. “It was hyper-securitized.”
A contractor admitted last Wednesday that workers renovating the cathedral flouted a ban on smoking. But he insisted “in no way could a cigarette butt be the cause of the fire at Notre-Dame.”
Karsenty told WND he was not familiar with Shepard Smith and the news anchor’s reputation as a left-leaning counter to the network’s conservative commentators and hosts.
“To me, I was talking to Fox News. If I were on CNN or any other media outlet, I would have been more careful to bring the story,” he said.
“I thought I could go straight to the point of what was happening. I was shocked. It had never happened to me before anywhere in the world, to be cut off,” said Karsenty.
Smith interrupted his guest in the April 15 interview when after mentioning the church attacks, Karsenty said, “Of course you will hear the political correctness, that it’s probably an accident, but … ”
“Sir, sir, sir, we’re not going to speculate here of the cause of something that we don’t know,” Smith interjected. “If you have observations or you know something, we would love to hear it.”
Karsenty continued: “I’m just telling you you need to be ready …”
“No, sir. We’re not doing that here,” Smith declared. “Not now. Not on my watch! Philippe Karsenty, it’s very good of you to be here.”
Karsenty observed a pattern in such incidents – particularly if it might have something to do with Islam – of authorities, without having investigated, immediately telling the public it was an accident.
“If you come out and say, ‘Wait a minute, there may be another explanation,’ it’s not [allowed],” he said.
“You don’t have the right to think freely.”

Muslim desecration of Christian churches has a long history.  In her book, ”The Rage and the Pride,” Oriana Fallaci relates how Somali Muslims desecrate Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral in Florence.  “The yellow streaks of urine that profaned the millenary marbles of the Baptistery as well as the golden doors.  With the yellow streaks of urine, the stench of the excrements that blocked the main entrance of San Salvatore al Vescovo.”  French churches have experienced nearly 2,000 attacks in the past two years. The was an arson attack on Saint-Sulpice church in Paris, feces smeared on a wall in Notre-Dame-des-Enfants in Nimes and the vandalization of the organ at Saint-Denis basilica.
In light of the large number of attacks on Christian churches it should not be unreasonable to suspect that the fire was an act of arson.  There are also credible people who believe the accident theory makes no sense. Among them is Benjamin Mouton, former Notre Dame Cathedral architect (2000 to 2013). Mouton explained that the oak timbers that made up the cathedral’s roof had become hardened after more than 800 years and wouldn’t burn easily.  Mouton also claimed the theory of an electrical source for the fire was unlikely.  One possible source of the fire is a short-circuit by electrified bells near the spire.  Nicolas Gueury, who electrified a set of bells in the cathedral in 2007, thought about that possibility but has ruled it out.
Investigators were allowed inside the cathedral for the first time on Thursday.
They will determine what kind of accident took place. It certainly must be determined to be an accident.  This was the decision arrived at by the politicians and the media while the fire was still raging.  If the investigators were to determine that the fire was indeed arson, the media and politicians would be further discredited.  They cannot afford that.

By Daymond Duck –
Every day, there are indicators in the news that the end of the age is near.
Consider these examples.
First, Jerusalem will be a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone for the whole world at the end of the age (Zech. 12:3).
On Apr. 7, 2019, Pope Francis and the King of Morocco issued a joint statement that said Jerusalem is “common patrimony of humanity and especially the followers of the three monotheistic religions.”
As I understand it, the pope and the king said Jerusalem is the world’s inheritance and it is especially the inheritance of Christians, Jews and Muslims because those religions trace their roots back to Abraham.
This “joint statement” fulfils Bible prophecy by challenging the ownership of Jerusalem and by documenting another step by Pope Francis toward a one-world religion.
On Apr. 16, 2019, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for the PA, said, “As long as Jerusalem is not on the table, Trump’s [Middle East peace] plan will not be on the table.”
Notice in both of these examples that Jerusalem is the burdensome stone.
Second, many Bible prophecy teachers believe that Ezekiel chapters 36-39 pertain to events that are taking place or shaping up in modern times.
Notice these words from Ezekiel chapter 36:
“Prophesy unto the mountains of Israel” (Ezek. 36:1a).
“Ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel” (Ezek. 36:8a).
“I will cause men to walk upon you [the mountains of Israel], even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men” (Ezek. 36:12).
On Apr. 16, 2019, Pres. Trump’s Mideast advisor released a new map that shows the Golan Heights are now part of Israel.
On Apr. 18, 2019, the U.S. State Dept. announced that it is changing the U.S. Foreign Affairs Manual so that U.S. citizens born on the Golan Heights will have their place of birth listed in passports as “Israel,” not “Syria.”
The Golan Heights are a possession of Israel.
Third, many Bible prophecy teachers believe Russia, Iran, Turkey and others will attack Israel on the mountains (Golan Heights, etc.) in the latter days and latter years to seize Israel’s territory and wealth.
Notice these words from Ezekiel chapter 38:
“After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them” (Ezek. 38:8).
“Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?”
(Ezek. 38:13).
On April 15, 2019, it was reported that another new gas field has been discovered off the coast of Israel, and this solidifies Israel’s position as a global energy superpower.
In 71 years of existence (since May 14, 1948), Israel has been transformed from being a poverty-stricken wasteland to being a global energy superpower with great wealth.
Fourth, the Bible teaches that there will be a departure from the faith in the church when the return of Jesus is approaching (I Tim. 4:1).
On Apr. 13, 2019, it was reported that Pope (Emeritus) Benedict XVI has written an article for a German periodical called Klerusblatt. In the article, Pope Benedict wrote that if the Catholic Church really wants to be credible, it needs to return to God. He blamed immorality in the Catholic Church on the “absence of God.”
As I write this article, it is the day before Easter Sunday, and I am thinking that many people will go to Church tomorrow (Easter), but God won’t be there.
It never occurred to me that a pope (or Pope Emeritus) would say there is an absence of God in the Catholic Church, but I agree with him; and sadly, it is a problem in the mainline denominations too.
Without provocation, the gay mayor of South Bend, Indiana, Pete Buttigieg, recently publicly criticized V.P. Pence’s stance on same-sex marriage.
According to Mr. Buttigieg, the Mike Pence’s of the world have a problem with the Creator, not with him.
Rev. Franklin Graham spoke out on this. He said, “We don’t define sin-God does in His Word, the Bible.”
He said, “To set the record straight, Mr. Mayor, the issue isn’t whether somebody has a problem with who you are – the issue is that we all have a problem with God because of our sin, and it applies to every single human being.”
He added that God doesn’t change.
One reason why there will be an absence of God in the Catholic Church and some of the mainline denominations on Resurrection Day (Easter) is because the pastor and many of those that attend have abandoned both God and His Word.
They will be like whited sepulchers, beautiful on the outside in their new Easter clothes, but full of dead men’s bones and uncleanness on the inside because they are writing their own Bible, redefining sin, condemning the faithful, etc. (Matt. 23:27).
Pray that God will raise up more preachers like Rev. Franklin Graham with the courage to tell this lost and dying world the truth.

There is no place for anti-Semitism in our society, and all of us should be deeply alarmed by how rapidly anti-Semitism is rising across North America, Europe and the Middle East.  The numbers that I am going to share with you in this article are incredibly disturbing, and many believe that anti-Semitism is now the worst that it has been since the end of World War II.  After what we witnessed during the 1930s and 1940s, you would think that the world would never want to go down that path ever again, and yet it is happening.  Millions upon millions of people deeply hate the Jewish people just because they are Jewish, and it is getting worse with each passing day.
