But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! (Galatians 1:8)
(John 8:32) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free

Both Matthew and Luke give a precise explanation as to the timing of the current events we are witnessing. I urge everyone to look at the News Headlines below, and you will see that we are on the precipice of World Conflict, as per Matthew 24:7 and Luke 21:10; I sincerely plead with everyone to get right with God at this time. Remember Israel/Jerusalem is the center of God’s “TIMEPIECE” for “END TIMES”; i.e. “RIGHT NOW”. No one in their right mind would want to go through the Tribulation Period (Revelation 6-22) it will be 7 years of the worst hell that has ever come upon this Earth, Jesus Christ Church “Will Not” be the subject of God’s “WRATH”. We are currently in the last moments of the Last days; Be prepared Jesus is coming quickly for his Church. Also take a look at the MASSIVE EARTH CHANGES/EARTHQUAKES/VOLCANOES ETC:
Section of the Main News Section you will see Matthew 24:7 swinging into 5 gear right before our eyes.

Matt. 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Matt. 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows
Luke 21:7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
Luke 21:9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
Luke 21:10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

QUESTION:    Last Sunday our pastor was preaching on Psalm 23 and part of his message hit me as another answer to the OSAS issue. He said that when the Psalm refers to the security of a sheep in the Shepherd’s care “for His name’s sake”, it is referring to the fact that sheep are by nature unable to care for themselves and will wander into trouble, and when they do, it’s the shepherd’s responsibility to rescue them.
ANSWER:    That’s right. As believers, we belong to God. He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us, and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit guaranteeing what is to come (2 Cor. 1:21-22). Then He turned us over to the care of His Son, the Good Shepherd, and gave Him the responsibility for keeping us.
Jesus was referring to this when He said, “All that the Father gives to me will come to me and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day “ (John 6:37-39).
Later He called us His sheep and promised that no one will get us away from Him. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one” (John 10:27-30).
If you are born again, you belong to God and Jesus has accepted the responsibility for keeping you. The two of them, who are one, will not let any power in heaven or on earth get you away from them.
Paul said it this way. “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).

QUESTION:    My question is about Matthew 7:22. How can some people use the name of Jesus to do miracles and still not know Jesus as their Savior? What kind of people will say to Jesus, Lord, didn’t I do this for you and that for you at the Judgement and still not be saved?
ANSWER:    Matt. 7:21-23 says, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
The broader context of the passage is false prophets, who the Lord describes as wolves in sheep’s clothing in verse 15. Since He often used sheep to characterise believers, He’s saying that these people are trying to look like believers, but really they’re sneaky predators. trying to steal the real sheep away. These false prophets say they’re doing things in Jesus’ name, but they’re not doing His father’s will, which is to believe in the Son (John 6:40). Instead, they’re using counterfeit miracles to lead people astray.
The false prophet of Rev. 13:11 is the ultimate example of this. He’s described symbolically as having two horns like a lamb (Jesus), but he will speak like a dragon (Satan).

Netanyahu: ‘God bless … the eternal undivided capital of Israel’
Amid violent Palestinian protests, the U.S. officially opened a new embassy in Jerusalem on Monday, drawing effusive praise from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“Today, today, the embassy of the most powerful nation on earth, our greatest ally, the United States of America, opened here,” Netanyahu said at a ceremony marking the event.
“God bless the United States of America and God bless Jerusalem, the eternal undivided capital of Israel,” he said.
Meanwhile, the health ministry in Gaza run by Hamas, a U.S.-declared terrorist organization, claimed dozens of Palestinians protesting at the border were killed by Israeli fire. The Israeli military said it was repelling an effort by Hamas to breach the border. The Palestinians were commemorating Nakba Day, the “catastrophe” of Israel’s founding 70 years ago.
Netanyahu praised President Trump for his decision in December to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and move the U.S. Embassy. When the date for the embassy opening was announced in February, coinciding with the founding of Israel, PLO Secretary-General Saeb Erekat called the move a “flagrant violation of international law and agreements” signed between the Palestinians and Israel that will “destroy” the two-state solution.
What do YOU think? What are your thoughts on new U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem? Sound off in today’s WND poll
Netanyahu urged the approximately 800 guests at the dedication of the new embassy building Monday in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Arnona to “remember this moment.”
“This is history,” he said. “President Trump, by recognizing history, you have made history.”
In attendance, representing the U.S., were Ambassador David Friedman, Deputy Secretary of State John J. Sullivan, Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin, Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner, the president’s daughter and adviser Ivanka Trump, and Special Representative for International Negotiations Jason Greenblatt.
‘We are here to stay’
Netanyahu recounted the history of the city, established, he said, as a capital by King David 3,000 years ago.
“King Solomon later built the Temple, and over 2,000 years later, we got to hear the sentence ‘The Temple Mount is in our hands.’ We are here in Jerusalem, and we are here to stay,” he said.
Netanyahu compared the moment historically to the Balfour Declaration of 1917 and the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948.
The prime minister, amid the violent Palestinian protests, said it’s also “a good day for peace.”
“You can only build peace upon truth, and the truth is that Jerusalem has been the capital of Israel for 3,000 years,” he said. “May the opening of this embassy spread the truth far and wide.”
The Arab League planned to hold an extraordinary meeting Monday to discuss the United State’s “illegal” move of its embassy to Jerusalem, reported the state news agency MENA, according to Reuters.
High-level representatives to the Arab League will meet “to counter the illegal decision taken by the United States of America to transfer its embassy to Jerusalem,” the report said.
Iran, denouncing Trump as “feeble-minded,” called on the Palestinians and the international community to engage in resistance, the Times of Israel reported.
“America has entered a crisis of strategic decision-making that looks at the international arena immaturely and adventurously,” said parliament speaker Ali Larijani at a conference on the Palestinian situation in Tehran.
Al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri urged Muslims to take up arms and carry out jihad against the United States, saying the embassy move was evidence that negotiations and “appeasement” have failed Palestinians, reported France 24
In a video titled “Tel Aviv is Also a Land of Muslims,” Zawahiri said Trump “was clear and explicit, and he revealed the true face of the modern Crusade, where standing down and appeasement does not work with them, but only resistance through the call and jihad,” according to a transcript provided by the SITE monitoring agency.
Two Jewish lobby groups in the U.S. expressed opposing views of the embassy relocation.
AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, called it a “momentous day for the U.S.-Israel relationship” and urged other nations to follow Washington’s lead.
The left-leaning J Street, meanwhile, asserted the move “has only undermined the prospects for peace, exacerbated tensions and undercut U.S. standing as an effective mediator.”
“This isn’t policy – it’s pandering to a narrow political base,” said J Street president Jeremy Ben-Ami.
British Prime Minister Theresa May said Monday the United Kingdom had no plans to move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, the Times of Israel reported.
A spokesman noted that the U.K. expressed disagreement in December when Trump made the announcement.
“The British embassy to Israel is based in Tel Aviv and we have no plans to move it,” the spokesman said.
Clinton, Bush, Obama supported embassy move
Britain was one of 128 countries that voted in favor of a United Nations General Assembly resolution in December declaring Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel “null and void.” Nine countries voted against it.
The announcement in December sparked violent protests in the Middle East and a call from Hamas for an uprising against Israel.
The Trump administration’s move fulfilled the requirements of a 1995 law that was adopted overwhelmingly by the Senate (93-5) and the House (374-37).
When Trump announced the decision, he reiterated his commitment to peace in the Middle East, noting the previous policy of not recognizing “the reality” that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital brought us “no closer to a lasting peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians.”
The Palestinian leadership, Fatah and Hamas, claims the Jewish people have falsified their 3,000 year-old history to lay claim to Jerusalem. The holy city, the Palestinians insist, is “Palestinian” and must be the capital of a future Palestinian state.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital a milestone.
“There are major moments in the history of Zionism: the Balfour Declaration, the founding of the state, the liberation of Jerusalem and Trump’s announcement yesterday,” he said in a video posted to social media.
Hamas, meanwhile, said the decision “opens the gates of hell” and called for several days of protests.
After the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 was passed, Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama signed every six months a waiver incorporated in the law allowing the president to delay its implementation for national security reasons.
Trump signed the waiver in June but decided in December to finally implement the law.
The three presidents who chose to delay enacting the Jerusalem Embassy Act nevertheless affirmed publicly that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital, and two of them said they supported moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.
Obama, a Democrat, told AIPAC in 2008 that Jerusalem “will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided. I have no illusions that this will be easy.”
Bush, a Republican, promised during the 2000 campaign that “as soon as I take office I will begin the process of moving the U.S. ambassador to the city Israel has chosen as its capital.”
And Clinton, a Democrat, entered office in 1993 saying he supported “the principle” of moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.

Given Iran and Israel’s mutual resolve in meeting their completely contradictory objectives — Tehran’s aim of turning Syria into a forward base for direct Iranian operations and Israel’s determination to prevent it — the prospects are high that a war will break out between Iran and its proxies against Israel.
The war will be mutually destructive, but Israel has one advantage that Iran doesn’t: a public that is firmly behind its democratically-elected government.
In both word and deed, Israel is firmly committed to its red lines. The reddest of all is that Israel will not permit Syria to be turned into a forward base for direct Iranian operations and a manufacturing center for precision-guided missiles. The Islamic Republic of Iran is equally committed to making both of those things happen.
If war does break out, it will signal the end of an era ushered in by the October 1973 War and formalized in the peace treaty with Egypt, which was Israel’s most powerful Arab enemy at the time. That treaty marked an end to interstate wars between Muslim countries and Israel.
Most of the conflicts in the four and a half decades since have taken place between Israel and non-state actors, including the long low-intensity conflict between Iran’s proxy Hezbollah and Israel in southern Lebanon, and a larger conflagration in 2006.
Would Iran attack Israel directly or make do with activating Hezbollah?
Tehran might decide to attack directly for several reasons. One is its perception that a Hezbollah-directed missile war might not be sufficiently costly to Israel to deter it from continuing to attack the Iranian infrastructure in Syria. This would also bring in its wake the danger that Israel might choose to retaliate directly against Iran.
Hezbollah’s war-weariness could be another factor in Iran’s decision to either attack alone or share the pain of war-making with its proxy. Hezbollah draws its ranks from a small community of fewer than two million people. It is responsible for the continuous bloodletting of that community’s youth from 1982 to 2000, primarily against Israel but also against the Sunnis of Tripoli and the Palestinians in the “war of the camps” in 1985.
The bloodletting came to a temporary halt with the Israeli withdrawal/hurried retreat from southern Lebanon in 2000 and the disintegration of its Maronite-supported militia, only to reemerge six years later as Hezbollah suffered hundreds of deaths in the 2006 confrontation with Israel.
Six years after that, Hezbollah was again bleeding its community’s youth in the bloody civil war in Syria, which continues to this day. The lack of popularity of what is probably the deadliest of Hezbollah’s wars to date can be seen in the major media sites linked to the organization.
These sites scarcely report on Hezbollah’s participation on the Syrian battlefield and the sophisticated videos the organization produces to immortalize the fighters (“martyrs” as they call them) are buried on the sites in a way that makes them difficult to find.
They are clearly intended for the families alone and not for the general Shiite public, which seems opposed to such participation, not least because the Shiites do not want to antagonize their Sunni neighbors in Lebanon and once again risk a deadly civil war.
In addition, demographic data shows that the Shiite birthrate in Lebanon (as in Iran itself) has plummeted. In 2004, it reached a “European” fertility rate that is below replacement. This means new recruits will increasingly come from four member families that have already experienced painful loss of life.
For these reasons, Tehran is more likely to attack Israel directly. However, as Iran has no air force and very little capacity to dispatch troops directly from Iran (they would be prey to Israel’s air force en route), Iran will probably opt for a missile war in which Hezbollah will likely take part.
A missile war and the subsequent massive use of Israeli air power would reveal both countries’ vulnerabilities. Iran is vulnerable despite its massive population size compared to that of Israel (80 million for Iran as opposed to 8.5 million for Israel), and the even more substantial difference in territorial size (1.65 million sq. km for Iran compared to only 21,000 for Israel).
Why is Iran as vulnerable as Israel despite these differences? Because it has existential liabilities. One is that Iran exports 90% of its oil and gas from the single port (essentially an island) of Kharg, 100 miles southeast of the tip of the Iraqi-Iranian border on the Persian Gulf. The revenues Iran derives from that oil and gas amount to at least 40% of government expenditures and around half its foreign reserves.
Also, the port of Bandar Abbas on Iran’s southern tip is responsible for 90% of its container trade. The goods brought in by container represent only 15-20% of total trade, but they are the goods that keep the Iranian quality of life in the 21st century.
One can safely assume that the Israeli air force has given much consideration to addressing these two major points of Iranian vulnerability.
The war will be very destructive and disruptive, not only for Israel and Iran, but for neighboring states as well. Israel might feel compelled to attack airports in Lebanon, Syria, and even Iraq to prevent the movement of Iranian troops and equipment.
Israel is vulnerable due to its small size and dense population, especially in its coastal area. But it has one advantage: Israel’s citizens will be firmly behind its democratically-elected government in the event of hostilities with Iran.
This might not be the case for the fundamentalist regime of Iran, whose population has been paying dearly for the regime’s imperialist ambitions and will pay 100 times more if such a war breaks out.
To stave off its own downfall, the Iranian regime might decide to avert a war with Israel, which never wanted a conflict with Iran in the first place.

Israeli snipers have killed 25 Palestinians and hundreds more have been injured as 35,000 joined protests over the opening of America’s embassy today. At least 900 more have been injured with about 450 of them by live bullets, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry after the army warned that anyone attempting to approach the security fence would be risking their lives. A 14-year-old and two men in their 20s were among those shot dead along the Gaza border on what is already the deadliest single day of protests since weekly border demonstrations started on March 30.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The US Embassy in Jerusalem will open officially in the next 50 minutes at 10:00 AM EST, 4:00 PM Israeli time today. Tens of thousands of Palestinians are right now engaged on the Gaza border, rushing the protective fence behind which live Israeli citizens. The stated goal of the rioters is to ‘loot, destroy and kill Israelis’. IDF snipers have already killed scores of these Gazan rioters, with over 1,000 wounded, and the death toll is climbing by the minute. These figures will be out of date the moment this article is published. With mere minutes until the Embassy opening in Jerusalem, it would appear that nothing is going to stop it.

As violent clashes broke out this morning, Trump, in a tweet, hailed the scheduled embassy opening as ‘a great day for Israel’.  Trump made no reference to the violence in an early morning tweet, instead inviting Twitter followers to watch live coverage of the embassy opening.
Amid heightened tensions in the region, al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri last night called for followers to carry out jihad against America. In a new message, he said America’s decision was evidence that negotiations and ‘appeasement’ have failed Palestinians as he urged Muslims carry out jihad against the United States.
The Israeli air force struck five targets in a Hamas military camp near the city of Jabaliya, the IDF said. The strike came following three “serious” incidents in which IDF troops were targeted by Palestinians along the border fence. According to the army, 40,000 Palestinians are demonstrating in 12 different locations along the border fence. source
Trump ‘was clear and explicit as he revealed the true face of the modern Crusade, where standing down and appeasement does not work with them, but only resistance through the call and jihad,’ Zawahiri said, according to a transcript provided by the SITE monitoring agency.
It follows Trump’s announcement last week that the United States is withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal and Israeli strikes two days later on dozens of Iranian targets in Syria. Those strikes came after rocket fire toward Israeli forces in the occupied Golan Heights that Israel blamed on Iran.
This morning, the Israeli military said troops shot and killed three Palestinians who were trying to place an explosive device by the border fence in Gaza during mass protests.
The shooting in the southern Gaza town of Rafah came as the army said an Israeli aircraft had bombed a Hamas military post in the northern Gaza Strip after Israeli troops came under fire. No Israeli casualties were reported.
The Israeli military says over 35,000 protesters are taking part in demonstrations at 12 points along the Gaza border. The Trump administration has vowed to restart the moribund Middle East peace process but the embassy move has inflamed feelings across the globe.
Monday’s inauguration ceremony at 4pm Israel time will include some 800 guests – though Trump himself will not attend – at what until now had been a US consulate building in Jerusalem.
US Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan will lead the Washington delegation that includes Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, both White House aides, as well as Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.

On August 15, 2005, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon began forcibly removing Jewish settlers from their homes in Gaza under what was known as Israeli Disengagement. By September 12, Sharon had unilaterally given up Gaza as a peace offering to the “Palestinians,” who had adopted the slogan “Gaza today, Jerusalem tomorrow.” On August 15, 2005, The Daily Jot reported: “It is almost chilling to watch the events leading up to Israeli Prime Minister Arial Sharon’s so-called “disengagement” plan as the world pressures Israel to unilaterally give up covenant land for the mere hope upon hope that there might be a semblance of peace between Israel and the Palestinians.”
The 8/15/2005 Jot continued: “Former Sharon cabinet member and once Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu plead with Israeli leadership last week to end the disengagement plan and to come to its senses. Like many, Netanyahu believes giving up land without concessions is a demonstration that terrorism pays and that Israel’s national security will be forever threatened. Certainly Israel’s military understands the significance of Netanyahu’s concerns. Middle East News Line reports that Israel’s military has revised its withdrawal plan to account for a scenario under which the eviction of Jewish residents from the Gaza Strip would be completed amid massive Palestinian fire and heavy Israeli casualties.
“Netanyahu called disengagement an “evil” and urged Members of the Knesset to stop it. He said he has warned the Sharon government that the Palestinians will only use the Gaza land to establish a terrorist base of operations and that the nation of Israel’s defence and security may be undermined by disengagement. He said, “I am calling on all those who grasp the danger: Gather strength and do the right thing. I don’t know if the entire move can be stopped, but it still might be stopped in its initial stages.” And he warned, “The government is advancing in total blindness. They have eyes but don’t see. They have ears but don’t hear.”” By June 2006, “Palestinians” were launching missiles from Gaza at civilian targets in Israel.
Fast forward over a decade later and the headlines read “Clashes erupt along Gaza-Israel border ahead of US Embassy inauguration” and “100,000 Palestinians gather for March of Return from Gaza.” Reports are saying the Hamas-led “Palestinians” want to take Jerusalem and prevent the US from moving its embassy there. The 2005 Disengagement is a reflection of Jeremiah 6:14, “They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people lightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.” Netanyahu and others who opposed “Disengagement” 13 years ago look like prophets. Sadly, those who warned of the peril of Gaza at the time are experiencing the consequences of such foolish leadership today.

“On Monday May 14th, the Hamas terrorist organization plans to send armed terrorists, among 250,000 violent rioters to swarm and breach Israel’s border with Gaza and enter Israeli communities,” warned the English language video. “Hamas plans to carry out a massacre in Israel. The Israel Defense Forces will not let them.” Additional soldiers have also been deployed to provide extra security to Israeli communities near the Gaza border.
The Israeli military is gearing up for fierce “March of Return” protests along the Gaza security fence on Monday, with more than 100,000 Palestinians expected to take part, and dire warnings from the IDF that hundreds plan to try breach the fence and carry out a “massacre” of Israeli civilians.
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Zechariah 12:2,3 (KJV)
EDITOR’S NOTE: When a man and a woman get married, the minister of the ceremony asks right before they wed, ‘is there anyone here who objects to this marriage? Speak now, or forever hold your peace’. That’s exactly what it looks like Hamas and the Palestinians are doing, they are going to ‘speak now’ before the US Embassy can officially open in hopes of stopping the ‘wedding’ of Jerusalem to Israel once and for all. But sadly, all any Palestinian needs to do to see the ‘final ruling’ on the status of Jerusalem is get them a King James Bible and read where God has already decided who gets Jerusalem in the end. SPOILER ALERT: God gives it to the Jews for eternity. So on that note, Hamas and all the coasts of Palestine, let’s let the games begin, shall we? Bring it, and let’s see what the LORD God of the Jews shall do.
“Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.” Isaiah 52:1,2 (KJV)
The protests are now set for Monday, to coincide with the move of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and not on Tuesday’s Nakba Day, as was originally expected. The Israel Defense Forces expects over 100,000 Palestinians to take part in the mass demonstrations and potentially as many as 200,000, something that would indicate a major victory for the Hamas terrorist group, which rules Gaza and has co-opted for its own ends what were originally slated to be weeks of nonviolent protests.
The army’s primary fear during the expected riots is that dozens or hundreds of Palestinians, including Hamas members, will manage to break through the Gaza security fence and wreak havoc in one of the Israeli communities on the other side, attacking residents, starting fires, and destroying buildings.
The military believes Hamas will focus its energies on this style of mass, chaotic attack, but the IDF is also preparing for more direct armed combat, including attacks on troops along the border, or kidnappings of IDF soldiers, as has happened along the Gaza border in years past.
On Sunday night, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit released a dramatic video noted that Hamas has destroyed homes, torched farmland and massacred “innocent men, women, and children” and seeks to do so again.
The Israel Defense Forces will not let them.”
The accompanying footage showed a young girl playing with a dollhouse, which cut to an image from the bloodstained aftermath of a terror attack in the West Bank from 2016, in which a 12-year-old Israeli girl was stabbed to death in her bedroom.
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh traveled to Cairo on Sunday, ahead of the protests, to meet with Egyptian intelligence officers, who were expected to call on him to keep the demonstrations from getting out of control.
The IDF however is not relying on Egypt’s persuasive powers and has dispatched two additional brigades to take positions along the Gaza border ahead of the anticipated riots. A third brigade was also deployed to the West Bank, the army said.
“The IDF’s preparation includes the additional deployment of a number of combat battalions to the Gaza border, special forces, intelligence collection units, and snipers. In addition, the Central Command will also receive additional combat battalions and intelligence collection teams as reinforcement,” the army said on Sunday.
The military also halted all exercises for conscripted soldiers, in order to focus on “handling violent riots,” the army said.
Additional soldiers have also been deployed to provide extra security to Israeli communities near the Gaza border. source

A fully-fledged war between Israel and Iran is no longer a question of if, but when. The withdrawal of the United States of America from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), otherwise known as the Iranian nuclear deal, has shifted events in the Middle East into a much higher gear. The United States, despite the criticism Trump has received, is right to withdraw from JCPOA, as it is a deeply flawed and quite ridiculous international treaty.
All sides have long known that the main protagonist, Iran, has broken almost every key provision of the agreement since its very inception. Yet, despite this obvious disingenuousness, the international community has been more than content to let the charade continue – likely because they are not the ones lying directly in the crosshairs of a potential future Iranian nuclear weapon.
So America, under Donald Trump, who called the JCPOA a “horrible, one-sided deal that should have never, ever been made,” finally brought the pantomime to an end. But Trump went further than simply ending the JCPOA. Vastly underreported by the MSM were the additional expectations that the United States has placed on Iran, post JCPOA.
In the final section of the “Talking Points” released by the White House to the press after Trump’s withdrawal speech, the Trump administration went very much further than merely withdrawing from the deal. It went on to state that, “President Trump is making clear that, in addition to never developing a nuclear weapon, the Iranian regime must” perform eight actions.
  • Never have an ICBM, cease developing any nuclear-capable missiles, and stop proliferating ballistic missiles to others.
  • Cease its support for terrorists, extremists, and regional proxies such as Hezbollah, Hamas, the Taliban, and al-Qaeda.
  • End its publicly declared quest to destroy Israel.
  • Stop its threats to freedom of navigation, especially in the Persian Gulf and Red Sea.
  • Cease escalating the Yemen conflict and destabilizing the region by proliferating weapons to the Houthis.
  • End its cyber-attacks against the United States and our allies, including Israel.
  • Stop its grievous human rights abuses, shown most recently in the regime’s crackdown against widespread protests by Iranian citizens.
  • Stop its unjust detention of foreigners, including United States citizens.
This is the basis of a whole new US regional strategy, not just a withdrawal. Iran, quite frankly, has no chance of complying with these eight expectations.
The response from Tehran was bombastic. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani ordered the country’s atomic agency to prepare to enrich uranium to “industrial levels” for use in nuclear weapons. And then, on Wednesday night, Iran decided to go on the offensive against Israel. After some small scale Israeli strikes against various Iranian targets inside Syria, Iran took the decision to launch twenty plus rockets into northern Israel.
Israel’s response was as immediate as it was decisive. Striking back at Iranian assets within Syria, with a severity of action not seen since the Yom Kippur War, Israel believes it has struck and substantially degraded all of Iran’s military capabilities within Syria.
“Whoever hits us will get hit seven times over. Whoever prepares themselves to attack us will be attacked first,” Netanyahu said. This is the Samson Doctrine, the Israeli first-strike military doctrine, and Iran should beware. (1)
Israel, in the severity of its response, has drawn a very clear red line in the sand against Iranian and Hezbollah attempts to move south through Syria towards the Golan Heights. Indeed, at point of writing, Israel believes it has destroyed all key Iranian military infrastructures within Syria.
Yet, Israel also knows that it treads a fine line in its actions in Syria. Israel’s decisiveness against Iran is constrained by two very clear red lines, both Russian: that the Syrian regime headed by Assad is preserved, and that there be no harm to Russian assets or personnel on the ground in Syria.
It was, no doubt, because Israel is treading such a fine line that Netanyahu just days ago visited Russia and was Vladimir Putin’s guest of honor at the annual Victory Day Celebration parade. Netanyahu, even whilst military operations were being prepared back in Israel against Iran, was attempting to gauge Putin’s acquiescence to Israeli strikes, and more important, to understand clearly what Russia’s limits were.
Once that was understood and coming at the same time as the US withdrawal from the JCPOA, and the near perfect alignment of Trump, Bolton and Pompeo, all staunchly pro-Israel, many in Israel saw the opportunity to move conclusively against Iran in Syria as a “now or never moment.” Iran’s misguided and rather pointless attack merely gave Israel the pretext to flatten them inside Syria.
Equally, the Saudis and Emiratis, now deep strategic allies with Israel against Iran, also seem to be gearing up for a fresh assault against Iranian power in their sphere of influence, the Gulf, in an increasingly imminent attack on Hodeida in Yemen. They also, like Israel, realize that this near perfect alignment of Trump-Bolton-Pompeo works very much in their favor as well.
We are witnessing the formation of a military alliance in the Middle Eastern region against Iran. The Tel Aviv-Riyadh-Abu Dhabi alliance, strange bedfellows but thrown together by a mutual Iranian threat, feel that they finally have a green light from both the United States, and to a degree Russia through their acquiescence, to really push back against Iran – in the Middle East through Israel, and in the Gulf through the Saudi’s and the Emirates, confronting Iran in a proxy war in Yemen.
What happens next will depend very much on how Iran chooses to respond. If the Iranians are wise, as some in Israel have intimated, they would sit back, not respond military against Israel, and negotiate with the Europeans to keep the Iran deal alive until Trump (they hope) is voted from office in 2020, a mere eighteen months away.
However, the hardliners in Tehran will likely have an altogether different set of ideas. They may rise to the bait. This may well be exacerbated by the exceptionally harsh sanctions the United States is about to place on Tehran. These forthcoming US sanctions will be designed by America to force the Iranians back to the negotiating table. Iran is well aware of the very weak hand it currently holds should it be forced to the table to negotiate. It is likely that, because of this, Iran may well believe that the only way they can improve their hand is via some form of military escalation against Israel.
Iran may confront Israel directly, through Syria, or they may decide to push their proxy group Hezbollah, to the north of Israel, into the battlefield against the Jewish State. If they do, Hezbollah will attempt to bring to bear more than 100,000 rockets against Israel. Devastating though this would certainly be, Israel is not as terrified of this scenario as many would think.
There is a growing belief within the IDF that right now, whilst Hezbollah forces are exhausted from such a prolonged and bloody fight in Syria, and whilst Iran has just been given a bloody nose, now is the appropriate and opportune time to move against their northern enemy and eliminate the threat whilst they are still weakened from battle.
It is a fight that Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah seems to welcome: “The war in Syria with proxies is coming to an end, and the second war with the genuine enemies may soon begin.”
Events in Syria and the Middle East are moving really fast. And with the approaching date of May 14th next week, they are unlikely to calm in the near future. The anniversary of the rebirth of the nation of Israel, a day the Palestinians and others in the Middle East commemorate as Nakba Day, literally the day of “disaster,” “catastrophe,” or “cataclysm,” means that the next seven days could well change the course of the entire Middle East, or the world.
Many are talking of the urgent need to prevent another war between Iran and Israel. It seems to me that war is already upon them. A conflagration is ahead.
Bible prophecy is, potentially, about to be fulfilled right before our eyes.

By Daymond Duck –
On April 29, 2018, Israeli jets struck a military base in Syria. Dozens of people from a variety of nations were wounded and roughly 18-24 Iranians were killed.
The next day, three U.S. officials told NBC TV the attack is a sign that Israel and Iran are moving closer to open warfare.
They said, “On the list of the potentials for most likely live hostility around the world, the battle between Israel and Iran in Syria is at the top of the list right now.”
Israel’s Defense Minister soon said that Iran’s regime is “living its final days.”
The Deputy Commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said, “100,000 missiles are ready to fly” toward Israel for the destruction of the Jewish nation.
Iran continues to move troops and weapons into Syria even though Prime. Min. Netanyahu said Israel will not let Iran establish a permanent presence there.
Israel’s military is on high alert for the third week in a row.
The government has ordered its bomb shelters in northern Israel to be unlocked and prepared for use.
On May 6, 2018, an Israeli official said, “If Assad [Pres. Assad of Syria] allows Iran to turn Syria into a military vanguard against us, to attack us from Syrian territory, he should know that would be the end of him, the end of his regime.”
Israeli Intelligence has determined that Iranian-sponsored terrorist groups in Lebanon and Syria are preparing to attack Israel.
Israeli satellites have detected increased activity at one of Iran’s two nuclear enrichment centers even though Israel said she will not let Iran get nuclear weapons.
Russia has started construction on a second nuclear reactor in Iran.
It is important to recall that many leaders including those at the UN, EU, France and England have told Pres. Trump that withdrawing from the Iranian nuclear deal will lead to war because a U.S. withdrawal will trigger sanctions on Iran.
Iran’s Pres. Rouhani said, if the U.S. withdraws from the nuclear deal, “It will soon see that the mistake will be a historic one.”
On May 7, 2018, DebkaFile reported that the U.S., England and France have military forces on the way to bases in nations that share a border with Syria.
England and France have also deployed additional jets to the Middle East.
On May 8, 2018, Pres. Trump announced that the U.S. will withdraw from the Iranian nuclear deal and immediately re-impose crippling economic sanctions on Iran. Some companies will be given 90 days to close their businesses.
About one hour after Pres. Trump’s announced withdrawal, Israeli jets attacked an Iranian base with missiles aimed at Israel. The base was approximately 10 miles south of Damascus. One report said 9 Iranians were killed and several were wounded.
That night, the Israeli army warned the citizens of northern Israel that it had abnormal movement of Iranian forces in Syria.
In the past, Iran has said she will retaliate at a time and in the way of her choosing. This time, an Iranian commander said Iran is watching and waiting before going on the attack.
Israel said the campaign against Iran’s presence in Syria has just started.
Will war take place in the coming days or weeks? Let’s hope not unless it is God’s will. I say “unless it is God’s will” because the prophet Ezekiel said God will pull Russia and her allies into the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezek. 38:4).
But don’t forget that Isaiah and Ezekiel predicted several wars that will take place in that area at the end of the age, so the possibility exists that those prophecies could soon be fulfilled.
Perhaps, the greatest sign of the end of the age is the convergence of all of the signs, and all of them appear to be converging right now (Matt. 24:33).
Jesus clearly taught that branches and leaves on a fig tree are a sign that summer is near and the convergence of the signs means that His return is near, even at the doors (Matt. 24:33).
I am not an expert on fig trees, but I have read that fig trees usually produce two crops: one in the spring on new limbs and the other in the fall on old limbs.
The spring crop is not very tasty, but the fall crop is very tasty. The tree blossoms between the two crops.
Jesus may have been saying that Israel, the fig tree (Hos. 9:10; Jer. 24:1-7), will appear in the spring, blossom in the summer, and bear good fruit in the late summer and fall.
This fits the two prophesied waves of Israel’s return: a first group of Jews returning in unbelief, the nation blossoming, and a second group of Jews returning as believers.
About half of the Jews in the world today have returned in unbelief (not so good figs; secular and unbelieving Jews preparing to rebuild the Temple, etc.).
Israel is starting to blossom (It is powerful, prosperous, and some nations are preparing to move their embassies to Jerusalem, etc.).
About half of the Jews in the world today are still in other nations. Some may be part of, or bring forth, the group that is gathered as believing Jews (good figs) at the Second Coming of Jesus.
The length of a generation (Matt. 24:34) is debatable, but many prophecy teachers believe it is 70 years (Psa. 90:10), and Israel will be 70 years old on May 14, 2018.
May 14, 2018 is a significant date. The U.S. will move its embassy to Jerusalem on that date. The PA and Hamas are unwilling to accept this. They are threatening to launch a great uprising against Israel.
Did you see the report that Pres. Trump’s peace proposal will be released shortly after May 14, 2018?
The report didn’t say how long after (a few days, a few weeks, etc.), but a peace proposal to settle the conflict could soon be on the table.
Another report (denied by the White House) said Pres. Trump wants Israel to give up four communities in Jerusalem that will become the capital of a new Palestinian State. People need to pray that the White House denial is true.
Did you see the report that India has already scanned the fingers, faces, and eyes of its 1.1 billion citizens and put the data in its new ID system?
Citizens had to agree to allow their government to do this if they wanted to be eligible for welfare, own a cell phone, have a bank account, take an exam at school, etc.
Did you see the report that Facebook has already started ranking news organizations, and studies show that conservative groups are losing traffic and liberal groups are gaining traffic?
In addition to that, it appears that Mr. Zuckerberg wants to overcome the division in America by suppressing what Christians and conservatives believe and boosting what liberals believe.
Truth is being cast to the ground, and the spirit of antichrist is on the rise.
A precipice can be perilous, and these are perilous times.

Joel C. Rosenberg –
Israel turns 70. US Embassy moves to Jerusalem. 50,000 Palestinians trying to storm Israel’s southern border. Al Qaeda calls for new jihad. Yet tourism at record highs. Please pray. Here’s the latest.
UPDATED: (Jerusalem, Israel) – Shalom from Jerusalem. Please keep both Israelis and Palestinians in your prayers today and all month. If there was ever a time to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, this would be it for we are in a unique moment in history.
The mood here among Israeli Jews is celebratory – festive, jubilant – as Washington formally moves her Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem today in official recognition that Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Israel. The move was timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the modern rebirth of Israel. There are American flags everywhere. Israelis are so grateful for the friendship and alliance of the U.S. and are expressing this openly. [Watch a replay of the Embassy dedication ceremony here.]
Most Palestinians, however – and particularly Palestinian Authority leaders – are furious with the move. President Mahmoud Abbas and P.A. officials have chosen to boycott all meetings with U.S. representatives for the foreseeable future. [UPDATE: Abbas blasts U.S. Embassy Move: An insult to the world and to the Palestinians.]
The latest rhetoric against Israel by Palestinian leaders and Iranian leaders is as dark as ever. Terrorist attacks against Israel are increasing. What’s more, some radical Islamist leaders are threatening all-out war against the Jewish State.
That said, it does not feel dangerous in Jerusalem or most population centers in Israel. Tens of thousands of police and security officials are on the streets of Jerusalem and deployed around the country. Most of the attacks are occurring on the southern border with Gaza, the northern border with Syria, and against Israeli settlers in Judea and Samaria (commonly known as the West Bank).
Tourism to Israel is at an all-time high – no tour groups go anywhere near dangerous areas. “An all-time record 3.6 million tourists visited Israel in 2017 – 25% more than in 2016,” reported Globes, a publication which tracks the Israeli economy. “The country from which the largest number of tourists to Israel come is the US – over 700,000 tourists – 21% more than in 2016.” In fact, tourism in 2018 is hitting record-highs, as well.
Lynn and I live in Jerusalem with our sons and we don’t feel worried. We remain on track for welcoming The Joshua Fund tour here in July, and hosting the Epicenter Prayer Summit. Indeed, I’ve also been speaking to numerous Evangelical tour groups that have been visiting here in recent months and everything has been safe and wonderful.
That said, here are the latest developments worth noting. These are among the many reasons we would be grateful for your faithful and ongoing prayers.
At this hour, an estimated 50,000 Palestinians in Gaza are participating in a “Day of Rage” against Israel. Many are trying to tear down, burn down, or blow up the security fence that protects our southern border and to storm into Israel en masse.
Reports in recent days said as many as 100,000 Palestinians were planning to participate. So far it hasn’t got that big – but the violence is real.
“The IDF killed three [Palestinian] terrorists who tried to plant an explosive device in the Rafah area and attacked a Hamas post in the northern strip after shots were fired on soldiers,” reported Ynet News. As of 4pm Israel time, 37 Palestinians had been killed and hundreds more wounded trying to destroy the security fence and penetrate into Israel.
UPDATE: As of 6pm local time, 43 Palestinians have reportedly been killed trying to penetrate Israel’s southern border fence with Gaza.
UPDATE: On Friday, “a group of some 200 Palestinians…set fire to the Gaza Strip’s only fuel terminal and a conveyor belt used for raw construction materials. Two conveyor belts which brought animal feed into Gaza were also wrecked, according to the deputy director of the crossing,” reported the Times of Israel. “According to assessments by Israeli and Palestinian engineers, it will take weeks to repair the damage to the pipelines, which brought diesel and gasoline into Gaza. There is no alternative. ‘There’s just no possibility [now] to bring fuel into Gaza,’ said the senior officer from the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories liaison unit.”
Since President Trump announced in December his intention to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem in keeping with U.S. law (originally passed in 1995 and unanimously reaffirmed by the Senate in 2017), the number of Palestinian terrorist attacks against Israeli soldiers and military sites has tripled.
This month, Iran directly engaged Israel militarily for the first-time ever. The attack came just after Prime Minister Netanyahu announced the Mossad had stolen 100,000 top secret Iranian nuclear warhead documents, and President Trump formally announced his decision to withdraw the U.S. from the deeply flawed and dangerous nuclear deal with Iran. “Iranian forces fired 20 rockets at Israel Defense Forces positions in the Golan Heights on Wednesday night. Four of the rockets aimed toward Israel were intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system while the remaining rockets exploded on Syrian territory, the [Israeli] military said,” reported Haaretz. “The Iranian attack prompted the most extensive Israeli strike on Syria in decades; overnight, Israel openly attacked dozens of Iranian military and logistics targets in Syria.”
Meanwhile, Ayman al-Zawahiri – the Egyptian-born head of Al Qaeda – has just made a new call for Muslims to wage “jihad” against Israel.
UPDATE: Al-Qaida chief claims Tel Aviv is ‘Muslim land’
And a top Shia religious cleric in Iran has just vowed that “Tel Aviv and Haifa will be totally destroyed” if Israel continues to behave “foolishly” (i.e., exist and defend herself), repeating yet again the kind of belligerent rhetoric that has characterized the Iranian regime for decades.
That’s where we are at the moment. I promise to keep you posted and encourage you to follow me on Twitter for the up-to-the-minute updates.

With the eyes and ears of the whole world literally upon him, his every word being recorded by every major news outlet in the world, and in the hearing of a represented portion of the entire government and nation of Israel, Pastor John Hagee opened his mouth and…and…(wait for it)…said not a single word of testimony about Jesus of Nazareth. Nothing, nada, zip, unless you count his generic reference to a nameless ‘messiah’ who will come to establish a kingdom. But even in that where Hagee should have said “come again” he took the cowards way out and made it sound like a first coming.
“The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?” Jeremiah 5:31 (KJV)
Back in 2014, we brought you a story of how American pastor John Hagee teaches the heretical doctrine of something called Dual Covenant theology. It’s on the old version of NTEB, but you can still access it here. That article will fill you in on the details, but in short, Dual Covenant theology is the teaching that because God made a covenant with Abraham, the Jews ‘don’t need Jesus’ as their Saviour today. As the expression goes, that is nothing but a lie from the pit of Hell. Jews in 2018 need the shed blood and atonement for sin made by Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary 2,000 years ago every bit as do the lost gentiles among us.
Please take a moment to read our original article which contains all the details of my attempts to reach out to the Hagee camp in Texas, as I confirmed every detail of my article to be 100% true and correct.
That brings us to today’s story which took place at the opening of the new US Embassy in Jerusalem. As tens of thousands of Palestinians rioted at the Gaza Strip border in Israel this morning, the opening ceremony for the new US Embassy in Jerusalem was taking place. It was a momentous and joyous occasion as Jerusalem was officially and formal recognized as the capital of Israel as a result of the actions of President Trump. Various people spoke, Netanyahu was bursting at the seams with pride and happiness as he quoted the prophet Zechariah and thanked the United States for bringing about this great day.
Pastor John Hagee Refuses To Mention The Name Of Jesus As Whole World Watched
Here is a clip of Hagee’s cowardly ‘benediction’ from the US Embassy in Jerusalem this morning. (For those of you reading this via our free email subscription service, click here to watch the video).
Then Texas pastor John Hagee was invited to give the closing benediction to the days proceedings. But even in that where Hagee should have said that Messiah would “come again” he took the cowards way out and made it sound like a first coming.
Hagee gave a political speech, which would have been fine if he was a politician. But ‘pastor’ John Hagee claims to be a born again Christian, and claims to seek to lead lost souls to salvation in Jesus Christ, doesn’t he? But here, when he had greatest opportunity ever to proclaim the Name of Jesus in the hearing of the whole world from Jerusalem on a day when the whole world was watching and listening, Hagee denied the Lord Jesus Christ, kept his mouth shut, and ensured that the tens of millions of dollars his organization CUFI, Christians United For Israel, generates every year will keep flowing in to the Hagee coffers.
The Heretical Teaching Of John Hagee
If you think for a moment that Hagee’s only false teaching is that of Dual Covenant Theology, allow us to correct that notion. John Hagee has many false doctrines that he will be more than happy to share with you here. This video is one of the few remaining copies of the official television commercial written and produced by Cornerstone Church in Texas, and starring none other than John Hagee himself.
Here is a quote John Hagee gave in an interview to the Houston Chronicle. You will note that when you click on the source link, it pulls a 404 Page Not Found error. Why? Because shortly after we first reported on this a few years ago, Hagee used his influence and lawyers to have the Houston Chronicle pull the story. You want proof of that? Look at the link, it reads “…san-antonio-fundamentalist-battles-anti-semitism.html”. Oh yes, that article existed at one time and Hagee did say those things to the Chronicle and the paper pulled it. Click here to read more quotes from the Houston Chronicle interview with Hagee.
“The Jewish people have a relationship to God through the law of God as given through Moses,” Hagee said. “I believe that every Gentile person can only come to God through the cross of Christ. I believe that every Jewish person who lives in the light of the Torah, which is the word of God, has a relationship with God and will come to redemption. “The law of Moses is sufficient enough to bring a person into the knowledge of God until God gives him a greater revelation. And God has not,” said Hagee, giving his interpretation of Romans 11:25. “Paul abandoned the idea (of Jews knowing Christ). In the book of Romans, he said, ‘I am now going to go to the Gentiles from this time forward.’ Judaism doesn’t need Christianity to explain its existence. But Christianity has to have Judaism to explain its existence.” Houston Chronicle
Pastor Hagee, when your staff shows you this article and I know they will, you should be ashamed of yourself for taking the cowards way out in refusing to even allow the Name of Jesus Christ to be uttered from your mouth. You teach Dual Covenant theology, a damnable heresy that has sent already untold numbers of precious Jewish souls to Hell because they believed you when you told them they ‘don’t need Jesus’ because Abraham has a ‘covenant with God’. And this morning, when you could have done something for the Lord, you chose to fatten your bank account instead.
You may be saved, only you, God and the Devil know that for sure, but let me ask you this. If you are saved, are the millions you’re making through CUFI by keeping your mouth shut about Jesus worth the pounding and loss of rewards you will experience at the Judgment Seat of Christ?
Well, is it?

Bill Wilson –
What presidents since 1995 said they were going to do, but exercised a Congressional waiver instead, President Donald Trump officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved the US Embassy there. Trump said, “Presidents issued these waivers under the belief that delaying the recognition of Jerusalem would advance the cause of peace…It would be folly to assume that repeating the exact same formula would now produce a different or better result. Therefore, I have determined that it is time to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel… Israel is a sovereign nation with the right like every other sovereign nation to determine its own capital. Acknowledging this as a fact is a necessary condition for achieving peace.”
Pastors John Hagee and Robert Jeffress were on hand to bless the Embassy and pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as did Rabbi Zalman Wolowik. They cited Psalm 122:6, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” But there was everything but peace in the reporting of this “religious” role in the dedication of the Embassy. Of course, the mainstream media-including AP, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, NY Times and more-severely criticized Hagee and Jeffress for their conservative stances on Christianity and Israel, referring to them as bigots, Islamophobes, and a host of other “isms” and “phobes.” The media seemed to align with the religion of peace (Islam), whose representatives were rioting and committing acts of terror due to the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Turkey’s dictator Recep Tayipp Erdogan said, “Israel is a terrorist state.” Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri said that the move allows “Israel to spill more blood of innocent Palestinians and increases the intensity of extremism that threatens the world community.” Iran’s Foreign Minister called it “a day of great shame” and referred to Israel as “the world’s largest open air prison.” The Arab League issued a statement saying that the Embassy move is a “blatant attack on the feelings of Arabs and Muslims,” and it called on the international community to oppose this “unjust decision.” All of these people claimed that Israel was massacring Palestinians, ignoring that they were violently storming Israel’s border.
It should be obvious to anyone with discernment that those who dedicated the US Embassy in Jerusalem want peace, are called to peace, and are willing to work toward peace, though they may know that there will be no real peace until the return of the Messiah. Those who are so worked up over the declaration of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital are the ones supporting violence for anything that remotely gives the appearance of recognizing Israel’s right to exist. Sadly, the godless news media continuously shows its ignorance of Holy Scripture and its bias against those who speak truth. At the same time, the media perpetuates the agenda of those who are driven by such hate that they want all Jews driven into the sea. Indeed, we need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
