1Cor. 10:26 For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof



QUESTION:   My question is about Matthew 7:22. How can some people use the name of Jesus to do miracles and still not know Jesus as their Savior? What kind of people will say to Jesus, Lord, didn’t I do this for you and that for you at the Judgement and still not be saved?

ANSWER:    Matt. 7:21-23 says, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

The broader context of the passage is false prophets, who the Lord describes as wolves in sheep’s clothing in verse 15. Since He often used sheep to characterize believers, He’s saying that these people are trying to look like believers, but really they’re sneaky predators. trying to steal the real sheep away. These false prophets say they’re doing things in Jesus’ name, but they’re not doing His father’s will, which is to believe in the Son (John 6:40). Instead, they’re using counterfeit miracles to lead people astray.

The false prophet of Rev. 13:11 is the ultimate example of this. He’s described symbolically as having two horns like a lamb (Jesus), but he will speak like a dragon (Satan).



QUESTION:   I became pregnant with my high school sweetheart and we got married. Four years later I met another man and fell in love. I left my first husband and married this man, committing adultery. I could give excuses for why I left my first husband but there really is no excuse for what I did. I know it was wrong.

After my second husband and I had been married about 2 years we also had a child and I started feeling very guilty about what I had done to my first husband. I went back and asked him to forgive me and told him I would come back if he wanted me to, but that I would have to bring my new baby.

He said he forgave me but didn’t want me to come back. I feel like I did what I could to fix things. I don’t want to go to hell and I don’t want any one else to go to hell because of any thing I’ve done.

Later I was baptized and promised God that no matter what happened I would never get another divorce. Now my second husband and I are getting ready to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. The question is, am I living in sin because my first husband is still living, or has God forgiven my sin?

ANSWER:   If you’re a born again believer you won’t go to hell no matter what. If you have asked the Lord’s forgiveness for divorcing your first husband then He has forgiven you. If you have also asked your first husband to reconcile and he declined, forgiving you in the process, then it appears you and he are at peace as well.

I think you should consider your divorce to be part of your past and put it behind you, and ask the Lord for the strength to keep your promise never to divorce again.

No matter how badly we have messed up in the past, if we confess our sins, the Lord is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lament 3:22-23).

May we truly – with all our being – desire what Almighty God desires for us. May we want to know, possess and exercise the wondrous peace of Almighty God which He has brought to us by the shed blood of His dear Son (Eph. 2:14). As we walk in time, may we – who know the Savior – seek to enjoy our redemptive benefits which have been given to us by our God and Savior (1 Cor. 1:30, Eph. 1:3, 2:1-19, Phil. 4:17, Col. 3:1-4) and the heavenly peace of heart that comes with the fact and reality that our sins and trespasses are removed FOREVER (Psalm 103:12, Rom. 7:24-25, 10:4, Gal 1:4). For those who do not know Him as Savior, may you humble yourself and receive Him into your hearts (John 1:12). That my friends is what “peace on earth is all about! It is found in a PERSON not a system (Eph. 2:14). My dear friends, REJOICE GREATLY (Phil. 4:4), a Savior was born, died on the cross, rose again and is soon coming again in great glory to establish His 1000 year reign of PEACE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS (Isa. 2:1-4, 9:6-7, 11:1-9, 32:1 Jer. 23:5, 33:15-16, Dan. 2:44-45, 7:7:13-14, Micah 4:1-4)!!! The Muslim Congress (TMC), Muslim Awareness International (MAI), Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, Lagos State Area Unit, Al-Mu’minaat (The Believing Women) and The Companion (an association of Muslims in business and the professions) have called on the Nigerian Christians not to see the crisis in Jerusalem as a religious issue.

The groups at different press briefing described the issue as “purely diplomatic and flagrant violation international agreements and United Nations (UN) resolutions.

TMC President Dr Luqman AbdurRaheem said that the declaration, which has led to the loss of lives and injured many Palestinians in the last few days, is not in the interest of Christianity.

He said: “Let it also be known that the sufferings of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank are not meted out to Muslims alone. Christians are also being persecuted in Palestine. Contrary to erroneous belief that the state of Israel represents Christianity, we unequivocally state that the current Zionist regime has never represented Christianity.

“In fact, statistics show that there are more Palestinian Christians than Israeli Christians. There are 840,000 Christians, about seven percent of the 12 million Palestinian population, while only two percent, about 171, 000 Christians are part of the 8.5 million Israeli population. Most of the Arab Christians have fled Occupied Palestine since 1948 after the forceful creation of Israel. The facts are there for anybody to crosscheck.

“It is rather unfortunate that many so-called educated Nigerians such as Reno Omokri and Femi Fani-Kayode are misleading the Nigerian Christian community to believe that the Palestinian struggle is Islam versus Judaism and Christianity. This is very wrong and it is sad how some Nigerians politicise the unjust and unilateral American decision to go against international law to recognize the disputed Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. United States President Donald Trump’s singular act drew wide condemnations from world leaders; religious leaders’ too, particularly Christian leaders have also condemned the act.”

The Companion National Amir, Alhaji Thabit Wale Sonaike said: “We stand in support of global opposition to this move and call on United States’ citizens to rise up against this move by President Trump to truncate the existing fragile peace in that part of the Middle East. The significance and historical antecedent of Jerusalem is too widely known for anybody to make attempt to re-write or appropriate the city. There is too much tension in the Middle East to start another controversy that may snowball into crisis in the region.”

MAI Director Waheed Atoyebi said: “The truth is, no matter how religious we might be, we cannot be more Catholic than the Pope. It should interest you to know that Pope Francis has also joined the world in criticizing Trump’s illegal move.

The Pope, who has always been an advocate of peace in Palestine, said ‘I cannot remain silent about my deep concern for the situation that has developed in recent days. And at the same time, I wish to make a heartfelt appeal to ensure that everyone is committed to respecting the status quo of the city, in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations. ’

“Just yesterday (Saturday), the leader of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Egypt cancelled his proposed scheduled meeting with US Vice President Mike Pence, in protest against Washington’s move to declare Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.”

MSSN Amir Dr Saheed Ashafa called on Nigerian Christians to follow the directions of these men of God to condemn Israel and the US.

The National Amirah, Al-Mu’minaat (The Believing Women) described the recent declaration by President Donald Trump of the United States of America on Jerusalem as the capital of Israel as unacceptable, saying it is a threat to global peace.

“Jerusalem is not only the ancestral home for the Palestinians but also the location of the third holiest Mosque in Islam. As Muslims, we are sure that Allah does not break His promises and sooner than later Palestine will be free,”

When all is said and done Jerusalem will be the capital of Israel (and the world), and those that hurt the most will be those that are trying to prevent it. That is because God made a covenant to give all of the land of Canaan to Abraham and his descendants after him in their generations forever (Gen. 17:7-8).

Israel will eventually possess all of the land of Canaan because God does not lie. God is faithful. God will not go back on His covenant. God is all-powerful. God is in control and more. Jerusalem is in the land of Canaan (Gen. 10:19; Num. 13:29; 34:1-12), so Jerusalem will belong to Israel.

First, concerning history, Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke to Pres. Trump three times before Pres. Trump signed the Proclamation that recognizes Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel.

Mr. Netanyahu told Pres. Trump, “You are going to make history.”

On the day after Pres. Trump signed the Proclamation, Mr. Netanyahu said, “Yesterday, he made history.” He added, “There are major moments in the history of Zionism: the Balfour Declaration, the founding of the state (of Israel), the liberation of Jerusalem and Trump’s announcement yesterday.”

God has blessed this writer with more than 70 years of life. Mr. Netanyahu’s statement caused me to realize that three of the four greatest events in the history of the modern Fig Tree (Israel) occurred in my lifetime.

When the disciples asked Jesus about the signs of His coming and the end of the age, He said, “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled” (Matt. 24:32-34).

As a candidate for Pres. of the U.S., Mr. Trump said he would move the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. He told the truth. His name will now appear in Israel’s history books. What an honor!

Second, concerning curses, the Jewish Sanhedrin held a special session prior to a vote in the UN General Assembly to oppose Pres. Trump’s Proclamation.

A spokesman for the Sanhedrin reminded the nations that God promised to bless those that bless Israel and to curse those that curse Israel (Gen. 12:3). He reminded the nations that the promise of blessings or curses comes from God, not Israel.

He stated that God uses Israel to test the nations. He said their vote would express their attitude toward God, not Israel. It would be a request to be blessed by God or a request to be cursed by God. He added that God can and God will do what He said.

The Sanhedrin issued a Proclamation that called upon the nations to advance the building of God’s House (the Temple) on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

This writer believes this present generation could possibly be the terminal generation of the Church Age. If it is, this means the Rapture, the Tribulation Period and a rebuilt Temple are near.

This begs a question: Did God show grace by using the Sanhedrin to urge the nations to seek guidance from the Scriptures and repent of their anti-Semitism before His curse falls upon the world?

Third, concerning lies, Prime Minister Netanyahu addressed the UN General Assembly before the nations voted. Mr. Netanyahu talked about the UN’s anti-Israel bias and referred to the UN as a “house of lies.”

One can easily see how members of the “house of lies” could choose a liar (the Antichrist) to rule over them. Strong delusion will come on them, and they will believe the lie (whatever that is) because they rejected the truth (II Thess. 2:8-12).

The resolution condemning Pres. Trump’s Proclamation (and perhaps the request to be cursed) passed with 128 votes for, 9 against, 35 abstained, and 21 were absent.

The EU and UK voted to reject Pres. Trump’s Proclamation. This writer believes the Antichrist will rise to power in the EU (Dan. 9:26). He also believes the UK will be greatly weakened at the end of the age (Dan. 7:4).

Fourth, concerning retribution, before the UN General Assembly voted, Pres. Trump said, “We’re watching the outcome.”

Nikki Haley, U.S. Ambassador to the UN, told the General Assembly she would be “taking names” of how nations voted, and they would be sent to Pres. Trump.

She said, “America will put our embassy in Jerusalem. No vote in the United Nations will make any difference on that. But this vote will make a difference in how Americans look at the UN and in how we look at countries that disrespect us in the UN.”

People wondered if Pres. Trump meant what he said. Then, two days later, Pres. Trump severed U.S. ties with the PA and Mahmoud Abbas. He blocked U.S. aid to the PA. He asked some of the PA’s main Arab contributors to freeze or slow down their aid to the PA. He blocked PA involvement in his peace proposal, and he said the U.S. will only work with Israel and the Arabs.

With Mr. Abbas and the PA being marginalized it could be time to start thinking in terms of a pre-approved peace proposal (or perhaps even wars and rumors of war).

The UN is a house of lies, the Antichrist will be a liar, and the idea that Jerusalem is occupied Palestinian territory is a fraud; but God’s Word is true and it will prevail.

Peace on Earth

This wicked world is reeling and stumbling like a drunken man. There is such violence, wickedness, and outright demonic activity that there is no safety or peace to be found anywhere on earth – yet. The inhabitants of this world are rapidly approaching (if we are not already there) the depth of depravity that characterized the days of Noah.

Our babies and children are being tortured, brutalized, and slaughtered in horrific ways that we cannot even fathom; and our children in school are having their faith and belief systems systematically dismantled and replaced with a rabid, demonically inspired, humanistic form of globalism that hates, despises and blasphemes our Creator. The Remnant Church worldwide is being persecuted as never before in her history.

No; in no way, shape or form is there anything even remotely approaching peace on earth – yet.

But still, over 170 times throughout the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation, our Lord tells those of us who belong to Him to “Fear not.”

Why does He say that?  How can we have peace in a world that is hurtling at warp speed straight into the yawning jaws of Hell? How can there be peace in this cesspool of depravity? I will tell you. Peace – like Truth, is not some nebulous ideal. No, Peace is a person.

ALL of our superlative ideals (Truth, Justice, Mercy, Love, Peace, Honor etc.) – ALL of these ideals to which humanity aspires, but of which we always fall so woefully short, have their fountainhead in God who “became flesh” and “dwelt among us.” Each one of these virtues is fulfilled completely in Jesus Christ – our Immanuel (our God with us).

Only in Christ Jesus can anyone find the “Peace that passes understanding.” Only in Christ Jesus can the “crooked paths be made straight.” Only in Him can we find that “joy everlasting.” Only in Him will we find that grace that is sufficient for any need – any travail – any adversity. And only in Him will we find “rest unto our souls.”

That is where true peace lies – under the blood of the Lamb of God who was incarnated into human flesh. He died with the sins of the entire world being poured out upon Him, who knew no sin, in order to – by His death, cancel the debt of sin for ANYONE who is willing to call upon His name in faith, believing that Jesus Christ alone can redeem fallen man, believing that this same Jesus was raised bodily from the tomb three days later and is alive forevermore.

ALL who are willing can call upon Him and have complete forgiveness of ALL their sin (past present, and future) and gain ETERNAL life.

Therein lies the peace of the redeemed.

However, God’s Word is specific that there will be “Peace on EARTH, goodwill towards men.” The angels themselves, as emissaries of the Most High God, announced this coming peace to the world on the very night that the Son of God was born into this world inhabiting a human body. That was over 2,000 years ago, and still there is no peace on earth – yet.

You see, there is no peace on earth yet, because the story isn’t over!

The great plan of God for the ages is not yet finished: The promise of a Redeemer that God promised a destitute and fallen Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, that “scarlet thread” of a “sacrificial lamb” whose coming would “take away” the sins of the world.

That coming eternal sacrifice was foreshadowed throughout millennia as the bleeding bodies of lambs, bullocks, goats, and doves lay quivering on Hebrew alters, giving to the world a visual object lesson that there can be NO forgiveness of sin without the shedding of blood.

These sacrifices of innocent animals foretold of the coming time when God the Son would wrap Himself in human skin in order to bleed and die to redeem His own fallen creation from an eternal Hell, which Adam’s (and through him all mankind’s) rebellion demanded.

God’s great Plan of the Ages was revealed in the Garden of Eden. This “scarlet thread” of redemption and salvation led first to Bethlehem where, in the “fullness of time,” Jesus (God the Son) was incarnated and born in the flesh to become our Redeemer.

This “scarlet thread” led on from the manger to the cross, where our sin debt was paid in full by Jesus who offered Himself as the spotless Lamb of God, to be sacrificed for the sins of the world.

It led to the empty tomb where Christ – victorious – arose having conquered, sin, death and the grave forevermore.

It lead to the mount where the resurrected Christ in His immortal body ascended back to the Father, where He waits seated at the right hand of the Father, awaiting His “bride” – HIS Church, to be completed. When His Church is fully complete, He will arise, step into our atmosphere and shout the command for the “dead in Christ” to arise from the grave first, and for the living ones – His beloved Church – to “Come up here” and meet Him in the air where we will be with Him forever!

You see, we are in the waiting period, just before a “new Heavens and earth” will be born. We are living in the closing stages of this wicked, rebellious, narcissistic, and utterly sinful world system. We are on the very cusp of the coming time when “the kingdom of this world (will) become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ.” And HE shall reign forever and ever.

Oh my beloved, THAT is when the proclamation of Peace on earth, goodwill towards men” will become a reality – a reality that will last forever; for “of HIS Kingdom there will be NO END.”

There IS ALREADY “peace that passes understanding” and “joy unspeakable” in the hearts of those within whom the Holy Spirit dwells. The Prince of Peace reigns within those whom He has saved from the “wages of sin.”

And one day VERY SOON that same Jesus, who was born in a manger, is coming back to Earth – NOT as a helpless baby “born for to die,” but as the mighty, roaring, conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah – the eternal sovereign Lord of Glory, crowned with many crowns and wearing a venture stained with blood. He is coming to end wickedness upon this earth – to show Himself to Israel, His people, as their Messiah to the remnant of the House of Israel, and to rescue His people, the Jews, from annihilation.

Finally, He is soon returning to set up His Kingdom here, on a renovated and sin-cleansed world – finally to establish PEACE.

Beloved, that time is almost here. The Prince of Peace IS coming. Rejoice and make yourselves ready; for the King of Glory is coming. And with Him, He is bringing PEACE! Joy to the World!

I voted. I always vote.  And I voted for Trump.

My father taught us that voting was not just a right, it was a responsibility for every citizen. My grandparents from both sides emigrated to America from Ukraine in the early 20th Century. I think my father viewed America as a huge blessing, in light of the never-ending persecution and slaughter of the Jewish people.

My father would say to us  “America may not be perfect but there is no better country.”  After WWII my dad realized that this country was truly the only one which supported the State of Israel. He also knew that the chances of a mass slaughter of Jews would likely never happen in the U.S.

In these last days, I’m not so sure of that.


On August 28, 1941, more than 23,000 Hungarian Jews are murdered by the Gestapo in occupied Ukraine.

The German invasion of the Soviet Union had advanced to the point of mass air raids on Moscow and the occupation of parts of Ukraine. On August 26, Hitler displayed the joys of conquest by inviting Benito Mussolini to Brest-Litovsk, where the Germans had destroyed the city’s citadel. The grand irony is that Ukrainians had originally viewed the Germans as liberators from their Soviet oppressors and an ally in the struggle for independence. But as early as July, the Germans were arresting Ukrainians agitating and organizing for a provisional state government with an eye toward autonomy and throwing them into concentration camps. The Germans also began carving the nation up, dispensing parts to Poland (already occupied by Germany) and Romania.

But true horrors were reserved for Jews in the territory. Tens of thousands of Hungarian Jews had been expelled from that country and migrated to Ukraine. The German authorities tried sending them back, but Hungary would not take them. SS General Franz Jaeckeln vowed to deal with the influx of refugees by the “complete liquidation of those Jews by September 1.” He worked even faster than promised. On August 28, he marched more than 23,000 Hungarian Jews to bomb craters at Kamenets Podolsk, ordered them to undress, and riddled them with machine-gun fire. Those who didn’t die from the spray of bullets were buried alive under the weight of corpses that piled atop them.

All told, more than 600,000 Jews had been murdered in Ukraine by war’s end. – source   (Emphasis mine)

I fully understand why my father loved and cherished America. My father was saved before he died in 1997.  I am glad that he did not have to experience the 8 dark and demonic years of Israel-hating Obama.

This Last Election

Voting is certainly not a spiritual act.  I remember the words of Jesus when the Pharisees attempted to trick him by asking if it was lawful to pay taxes to Caesar:

But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, “Why do you test Me, you hypocrites?  Show Me the tax money.” So they brought Him a denarius. And He said to them, “Whose image and inscription is this?” They said to Him, “Caesar’s.” And He said to them, “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s”  (Matthew 22: 18-21).

Jesus clearly showed the people that an earthly government had nothing to do with the Kingdom of heaven. To those of us who belong to the Lord, the election may have been about moral issues, but it was not a spiritual act.

It seems that many Christians believe that voting for a Conservative was indeed an act for which they might receive a crown in heaven. This is ludicrous and is harming the body of Christ.

Many in the Church have gone back to sleep

WAKE UP CHURCH!  We have much work to do for our Father!  Are we not to share His Glorious Gospel to add souls to His Kingdom?  This is not our home; we are merely passing through.

We ARE to speak out against abortion.  We ARE to defend the sanctity of marriage, regardless of the heinous decision of the SCOTUS which changed the Biblical definition of marriage.

Yes – we ARE to do what we know is right.  But the reason that our Father has allowed us to be here on this very day, is to be salt and light in this increasingly dark world!  Millions are dying in their sins and will spend eternity in hell!

The Changing Church of the Great Falling Away

Are you attending an apostate church?  How would you know?

  • The pastor does not preach on Bible prophecy
  • Hatred for Israel is spewed from the pulpit
  • Teaching that the Church replaced Israel
  • Gays are ordained as pastors
  • Pastor does not preach on Salvation
  • Emphasis is on financial prosperity
  • The Word of God is not held as inerrant and infallible
  • Mysticism and New Age practices are embraced
  • A push for returning to Rome (Catholicism)
  • Teaching that Jesus is not God
  • Teaching that there are many ways to God

Jesus said:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).

This statement from our Lord Jesus does not leave any room for debate.  And because He is the only way to the Father, we MUST be about our Father’s business while we are still here.  How will people know what Jesus meant by this passage of Scripture if we do not tell them?

How Can I Be Saved?

So we must  wake up, brethren.  You did well when you voted in the last election. Many of us voted the Bible; and what that means is that we voted for the person whose views on moral issues were closer to the Word of God.

But that was not an act of Spiritual service to God.  He wants His people to repent and turn from their wicked ways. He wants His people to tell others how to be right with Him.  He wants His people to put Him first in their lives.
