1Cor. 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Cor. 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him
1John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is
Matt. 24:6 And ye shall hear of WARS AND RUMOURS OF WARS: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Matt. 24:7 FOR NATION SHALL RISE AGAINST NATION, AND KINGDOM AGAINST KINGDOM: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Matt. 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows

QUESTION:    Not too long ago, I suffered an emotional breakdown and had to be hospitalised temporarily. Since that time many of my past sins have surfaced in my memory. I am a believer and know all my sins have been forgiven. But I am heavily burdened by these sins and I want to confess them to someone. Who should I ask to hear my confession?
ANSWER:    First of all, you should understand that these sins are coming to mind so you can forgive yourself because the Lord has already forgiven you. Colossians 2:13-14 tells us that when Jesus went to the cross He forgave us all our sins by nailing them to His cross and dying for them. As soon as you became a believer every sin of your life was washed away in His precious blood.
I agree that confessing these sins will be helpful for your recovery. But you should confess them to God, not to another person. 1 John 1:9 says
if we confess our sins He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
If you think that making a formal confession is necessary to relieve the burden you’re carrying, write all your sins down in a letter to the Lord. On the first windy day take the letter outside to a private place and read it out loud to Him.
When you have finished reading the letter, set it on fire and burn it to ashes. Then, as you watch the wind blow the ashes away read Psalm 103:8-12. Verse 12 sums up the passage, saying
“As far as the East is from the West, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

QUESTION:    You encourage believers to keep confessing our sins and seeking God’s forgiveness. But isn’t it true that we’re already forgiven? If so why do we have to ask again? Is there another verse in the Bible that confirms this?
ANSWER:    Confessing our ongoing sins, as mentioned in 1 John 1:9, is not a salvation issue because we’re saved for eternity, with a righteousness that comes through faith to all who believe (Romans 3:21-22). Ongoing confession is a fellowship issue that keeps us in good standing with God in the here and now.
In any important human relationship, we would apologise if we did something that disappointed or offended the other party so as not to put a strain on the relationship. It should be the same for our relationship with God. After all, we didn’t stop sinning when we became believers, and our sinful behaviour grieves the Holy Spirit (Ephes. 4:30).
As for other references to confession, every time we say the Lord’s prayer we’re asking the Lord to forgive our sins (Matt. 6:9-15). This is a prayer for believers only, who can’t lose their salvation but can find themselves out of fellowship with God because of their behaviour.
I frequently receive questions like this and I’m always amazed at the number of believers who resist confessing their ongoing sins. If for no other reason, it just seems like the polite thing to do avoid the possibility of putting a strain on our most important relationship, especially knowing the lengths to which He went for us.

California earthquake: Two quakes hit Aguanga in 30 minutes
The quakes struck near the area of Aguanga in Riverside County, about 20 miles east of Temecula.
The bigger of the two, registering at magnitude-4.4, was felt as much as 50km away in Los Angeles.
The second, registering at magnitude-3.0, struck just half an hour later less than a mile away.
No serious damage or injuries have been reported as a result of the quakes, but residents took to Twitter to express their shock.
The ‘Big One’ is a hypothetical earthquake of a magnitude 8.0 or greater.
The Big One, according to the hypothesis, will occur along the San Andreas Fault, a 750-mile-long tectonic boundary through California
A study published in 2006 in the journal Nature found the San Andreas fault has reached a sufficient stress level for an earthquake of magnitude greater than 7.0 to occur.
The study also found the risk of a large earthquake may be increasing more rapidly than scientists had previously believed.
The paper concluded: “The information available suggests that the fault is ready for the next big earthquake but exactly when the triggering will happen and when the earthquake will occur we cannot tell.
“It could be tomorrow or it could be 10 years or more from now.”
Yet in the 12 years since publication, there have been no substantial earthquakes in the region.
The US Geological Survey’s most recent forecast estimated there is a seven percent probability that an earthquake of magnitude 8.0 or greater will occur in the next 30 years somewhere along the San Andreas Fault.
Another USGS report attempted to asses the physical, social and economic consequences of a major earthquake in southern California.
That study predicted a magnitude 7.8 earthquake along the southern San Andreas Fault could cause about 1,800 deaths and $213 billion in damage.
Last night’s quakes occurred along the San Andreas Fault, but this doesn’t necessarily mean a bigger one is coming, as the area is rumbled by earthquakes regularly as you can see by the USGS map below.
The reason for this is because the Pacific Plate, to the west of the fault, is slowly moving in a northwest direction while the North America Plate to the east is moving toward the southwest.
The earthquakes come on the back of California’s ongoing battle against the worst wildfires in the State’s history.
The Mendocino Complex fire – the largest in Californian history – spanning nearly 350,000 acres.
Close on its heels is the deadly Carr Fire, spanning about 200,000 acres, which has claimed eight lives.
The unprecedented spread of the fires have forced tens of thousands to be evacuated across California.
A worrying trend of longer and more destructive wildfires is being observed across California and other parts of the USA.

CDC monitoring measles outbreak in 21 states, including North Carolina
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Tuesday afternoon that 107 people from 21 states, including North Carolina, have reported contracting the measles.
The other states included are Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.
This number will likely outpace the number of measles cases reported in 2017.
There were 118 cases in 2017, and only 86 the year before that.
The last outbreak was in 2015 when 188 people contracted measles.
The outbreak was linked to an amusement park in California where it is thought that a traveler from overseas brought it to the U.S..
Measles is an airborne virus that spreads through coughing and sneezing.
Symptoms show up in 10-14 days after exposure. The symptoms last 7-10 days and include a high fever, cough, runny nose, and red eyes followed by a rash that typically starts on the face and spreads to the rest of the body.
Complications from measles can get much more serious.

By Eyal Zisser –
This week will mark 12 years since the Second Lebanon War ended. Since then, the Israel-Lebanon border has been the quietest it has been for decades.
It is true that Hezbollah has been using this peace and quiet to build up its missile arsenal. It is believed that the Shi’ite terrorist group is currently in possession of more than 100,000 missiles–10 times more than it had in 2006–and it is no secret that it currently strives to increase their range and improve their accuracy.
Still, Hezbollah has made sure to avoid any provocation along the border. The memory of the blow Israel dealt it is still fresh, as is the memory of the humiliation suffered by its leader, Hassan Nasrallah.
One cannot forget, however, that there are two sides to this coin. Yes, Hezbollah remains deterred but Israel is also careful not to target its interests, neither on the border nor on Lebanese soil. Thus, in the shadow of a balance of mutual deterrence, both parties are careful not to violate the tacit understandings formed between them following the 2006 conflict.
A similar balance of mutual deterrence is also being hammered out on Syrian soil, opposite Iran. Foreign media outlets may keep reporting on alleged Israeli strikes against Iranian assets in Syria, but since Israel and Iran traded blows in May—after Iranian-backed troops fired missiles at the Golan Heights—Israel has been making a conscious effort not to target Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officials in Syria.
In Gaza, however, Israeli deterrence has been eroded, at times to the point of seeming hollow, and the last few weeks have taught us that deterrence is not enough to prevent rocket fire and flare-ups on the border.
Hamas may avoid, at this time, firing rockets deeper into Israel, but it does not hesitate to fire a barrage of mortar shells and Qassam rockets at Israeli border-adjacent communities. Israel, for its part, has opted to exercise restraint, and while it does not carry out lethal attacks in Gaza, it has been pounding Hamas positions there.
In recent weeks, it seems that Hamas has become envious of the equation reached with Hezbollah and seeks to impose a similar one on the Gaza border, meaning to deny the Israel Defense Forces its operational freedom along the security fence by way of cementing a reality in which any Israeli strike in Gaza would trigger a rocket salvo on the south.
In the absence of a comprehensive, long-term Israeli strategy with respect to Hamas rule in Gaza, and in the absence of a viable alternative to this rule, Israel has, time and again, been forced to accept understanding brokers with Hamas via Egyptian mediation.
It seems that now, Israel is willing to undertake even broader understandings that would limit its operational freedom along the border. This time, however, it is doubtful Hamas can ensure peace and quiet along the border.
Hamas, unlike Hezbollah, lacks solid domestic support, and it would struggle to enforce a ceasefire on the rival terrorist groups in Gaza, which repeatedly flout its authority.
Moreover, Gaza is under a maritime Israeli blockade, as well as strict Israeli and Egyptian limitations on land crossings, which have rendered its economy to shambles. This means that Hamas has no clear interest to enforce a ceasefire and prevent an escalation.
One can only hope that despite the Swiss cheese-like nature of any deal with Hamas, Gaza’s rulers would be able to uphold the temporary truce for a while.

Sweden Is Burning: Migrant Gangs Unleash Coordinated Fire-Bomb Rampage Across Multiple Cities
Many Swedes were horrified in early 2017 when U.S. President Donald Trump linked immigration to rising crime in Sweden, but an increasing number now agree with him.
Amid soaring crime rates, gang violence, complaints about education, and pregnant mothers even being turned away from maternity wards due to a lack of capacity, resentment in Sweden has built over the influx of more than 600,000 immigrants over the past five years.
And tonight is one of the worst night for violence in recent history as police report multiple gangs of masked youths rampaging across three major Swedish cities, setting cars on fire in what seems like a coordinated action.
As The Daily Mail reports, police said they were dealing with multiple fires as dramatic footage showed youths targeting vehicles in a shopping centre and hospital car park at Frölunda Torg, south-west of Gothenburg.
As The Daily Mail reports, police said they were dealing with multiple fires as dramatic footage showed youths targeting vehicles in a shopping centre and hospital car park at Frölunda Torg, south-west of Gothenburg.
There were also reports of young people setting cars on fire in Hjällbo in the north of Gothenburg and further reports of fires in Trollhättan, although police were last night unsure whether the various blazes were related.

Police report that the situation is under control and they remain on the premises to keep order.
Frölunda: A group of about 6-8 masked youth fires and throws stones. 31 cars have burned and in addition to these 35 cars are injured. Nobody is arrested.
Nordost: A group of about 8-10 young people throws stones and fires. 15 cars have burned. Nobody is arrested.
Trollhättan: A larger group of about 30-40 young people throws stones and fires. Six cars have burned and another few cars must be damaged. Here roads have been blocked by youngsters and they have even thrown stones against the police and their vehicles. At the moment, identification of young people is ongoing.
When most fires started within a short period of time, it can not be excluded that there is a connection between the fires, the case will be investigated. Polish patrons will remain in the affected areas as long as it is considered necessary.
It is no surprise then, as we noted previously,  judging by the latest polls, the rise of extreme populist groups in Sweden is accelerating fast.
As Reuters reports, dozens of people have been killed in the past two years in attacks in the capital Stockholm and other big cities by gangs that are mostly from run-down suburbs dominated by immigrants.
With public calls growing for tougher policies on crime and immigration, support has risen for the ironically named, Sweden Democrats, a party with neo-Nazi roots that wants to freeze immigration and to hold a referendum on Sweden’s membership of the European Union.

Bill Wilson –’s Al Thompson, whose bio includes that he “has taught thousands of journalists, journalism students and educators in newsrooms around the world,” says there will be a massive protest of journalists Thursday where “more than 200 newspapers will publish editorials in a “coordinated response” to President Trump calling the press the “enemy of the people.” Each publication will write its own editorial.” claims to be the global leader in journalism as instructor, innovator, convener and resource for “anyone who aspires to engage and inform citizens in 21stcentury democracies.” This is a case of never arguing with someone who buys their ink by the barrel. A protest of “journalists.” Uh-huh, right.
Journalism is defined by Merriam-Webster as “writing characterized by a direct presentation of facts or description of events without an attempt at interpretation.” Subsequently, a journalist is “a writer or editor for a news medium.” Journalists are supposed to report the facts without interpretation. This is key. No matter whether atheist or religious, liberal or conservative, communist or capitalist, journalists are supposed to report the news without bias. Certainly, one can argue that journalists will report the news based on the lens in which they view it. Notwithstanding, journalists should make a conscious attempt to be unbiased in their reporting.
If you watch the news on television, hear it on the radio, or read it somewhere, discerning the truth has become so difficult in this environment because of the bias of those reporting the news. Most are so leftist in their belief system that they cannot imagine that anyone would disagree with them-so they report the news from an extremely biased position, making them editorialists, not journalists. Point number 1 of the smartest things for journalists Thompson says he heard anybody say in 2017 was “It is important for you to know what you believe, but it is more important for you to ask yourself regularly, “Why do I believe what I believe?” If you are unbiased, it shouldn’t matter. But herein is the point: Journalists are supposed to report the facts in unbiased fashion, their beliefs aside.
Today’s “journalists” report what they believe to be true. Most journalists vote Democrat, and most admit they are progressive. The end, therefore, justifies the means. Hence, over 90% of the stories written or aired by mainstream “journalists” are negative toward the current pragmatic, conservative President. A Pew Research study revealed that this compares with 20% negative coverage of the progressive former president. To me, it boils down to Christ. He said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” And in John 8:32, Christ said that if you continue in his word, “then you will know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” When you see those 200 editorials whining about Trump’s characterization of journalists, keep in mind that collectively they have no clue of what is truth, so they can’t even write it.

Bill Wilson –
THERE IS A SOCIO-POLITICAL REVOLUTION OCCURRING IN AMERICA. The news media is complicit in giving this revolution a platform. We see it with the revolutionaries’ visceral attacks on anyone who disagrees with their positions and the media’s amplification of these assaults. These revolutionaries believe that their moral opinions justify breaking the law, fomenting violence, lying and bullying.
These actions are seeded in political intolerance and ideological bigotry, and they are not going to go away any time soon. These are the days of great deception and unrest in America because a major political party is become the haven of unrest and revolution. A recent Gallup poll confirms the direction of this civil unrest.
For the first time since Gallup began polling the question in 2010, the Democratic Party favors socialism over capitalism by a significant margin. Gallup reports that 57% of Democrats surveyed had a positive view of socialism, while only 47% had a positive view of capitalism. This is the first time since this question has been asked that a majority of those associated with the Democratic Party did not favor capitalism over socialism. Contrast this with those who associate with the Republican Party where only 16% have a positive view of socialism and 71% have a positive view of capitalism. Gallup statistics confirm that the Democratic Party is turned toward socialism.
Moreover, the youth of this country are steaming toward socialism irrespective of party affiliation. Gallup reports: “Americans aged 18 to 29 are as positive about socialism (51%) as they are about capitalism (45%). This represents a 12-point decline in young adults’ positive views of capitalism in just the past two years and a marked shift since 2010, when 68% viewed it positively.” The brand of socialism these people support is undoubtedly deeper than an economic debate over socialism vs. capitalism. This trend is particularly dangerous to religious freedom and freedom of speech. The ideological bigotry practiced by America’s vocal socialists is targeted at anyone who suggests a Biblical moral code for society.
Progressivism, socialism, communism will end religious freedom in America because these forms of tyranny are based in the Communist Manifesto, which states: “Communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion, and all morality, instead of constituting them on a new basis.” Christians who believe socialism is true Christianity cite Acts 2:44, “And all that believed were together and had (shared) all things in common,” as Biblical justification. Early Christians lovingly had all things in common-they were not forced to do so by a government. The very nature of communism is against God. We’d better wake up and smell the coffee, starting with ongoing conversations with our families, children and grandchildren.

No matter how globalism is repackaged, it always smells the same way in the end. For decades, the globalists have subtly (or sometimes not so subtly) been moving us toward a world in which national borders have essentially been made meaningless.
The ultimate goal, of course, is to merge all the nations of the world into a “one world socialist utopia” with a global government, a global economic system and even a global religion. The European Union is a model for what the elite hope to achieve eventually on a global scale.
The individual nations still exist, but once inside the European Union you can travel wherever you want, economic rules have been standardized across the Union, and European institutions now have far more power than the national governments.
Liberty and freedom have been greatly restricted for the “common good”, and a giant horde of nameless, faceless bureaucrats constantly micromanages the details of daily life down to the finest details. With each passing day the EU becomes more Orwellian in nature, and that is why so many in Europe are completely fed up with it.
Unfortunately, this is precisely what Antifa, the Democratic Socialists and others on the radical left want to bring to America.
Our high schools and colleges have become hotbeds for “progressive” beliefs, and they are producing millions of young people that have completely and utterly bought into the globalist program. A lot of older Americans simply do not understand that many of these young people want to do away with the United States entirely.
To many of us, such a notion is unthinkable, but the idea that the U.S. Constitution and the U.S. government should be done away with is really starting to catch fire among certain circles.
For example, on Sunday Antifa activists were boldly chanting “no border, no wall, no USA at all”…
Open borders protesters and members of the left-wing anarchist group Antifa chanted death to America during a counter-protest in Washington, DC, on Sunday.
In a video by Breitbart News’ Ian Mason, Antifa members and open borders activists can be heard and seen marching down streets throughout Washington, DC, demanding an end to the United States.
“No border, no wall, no USA at all!” Antifa and open borders activists chanted.
This is what they actually want.
They want a world without national borders, and they want a world in which the United States has been absorbed into a global socialist entity.
And as far as Antifa is concerned, they would be happy to achieve this goal by peaceful means, but they have also publicly embraced violence if that is what is necessary.
On Sunday, Antifa demonstrators in D.C. were also openly advocating the “overthrow of the United States government”…
Antifa and other left-wing groups gathered at Freedom Plaza in downtown Washington, DC, on Sunday carrying signs that reveal one message loud and clear: Remove racist President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence from office and overthrow the United States government.
People passed out “Trump Pence Must Go” stickers and carried signs and banners displaying anti-Trump slogans, including, “Drive Out Trump Pence Fascist Regime.”
You can see some of the protest signs that demonstrators were displaying right here.
Of course Antifa represents a relatively small (but growing) portion of the overall population.
But a movement that represents a whole lot more people is the Democratic Socialists. Thanks to her recent stunning victory in New York, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become their new standard-bearer, and she is publicly calling for the abolition of ICE…
Democratic New York congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez explained her belief that abolishing the Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency is “common sense” during an interview on CNN with John Berman on Thursday morning.
“I think now, we’re starting to realize that ICE—part of that suite of legislation has a structure that allows for civil rights and human rights abuses,” Ocasio-Cortez stated. “And, you know, it may seem like a radical position, but I actually think it is very, very common sense. You know, we should not be separating children from their families.”
But if we don’t have anyone enforcing or protecting our borders, then it would essentially mean that we don’t have any borders at all, and that is precisely what they want.
For Democratic socialists like Ocasio-Cortez, a lack of money is never a concern. They believe that we can completely open up our borders and allow millions upon millions of new immigrants to come pouring in, and that we can also afford to provide free healthcare, free college education, free basic housing and a whole host of other social benefits to them and to everyone else that is already living here.
And even though we are already 21 trillion dollars in debt, somehow we supposedly have the resources necessary to pay for all of this.
I know all of this sounds crazy, but this is what they want, and they are passionate about getting it.
Today, the radical left completely dominates our system of public education, and that is why so many of our young people have become radical leftists. And many of these “true believers” openly talk about a “revolution” in the United States.
Even big stars such as Michael Moore are speaking about “a real insurgency” these days. In his new film, Moore claims that Donald Trump will be “the last president of the United States”, but he doesn’t give any specific details.
So what exactly did Moore mean by that?
Somebody needs to ask him that question.
Sadly, these leftists ultimately don’t want more liberty and freedom.
Instead, they want a world that they can “transform” into their own image. They want a world where free speech is highly censored on the Internet, where your money is taken and “redistributed” to someone else, and where even the smallest details of your daily life are micromanaged “for the good of humanity”.
Ultimately, what they crave is tyranny.
They better be careful what they wish for, because someday they might end up getting it.

Religion in atheist China is a curious thing. Officially, the 1982 Chinese constitution guarantees religious freedom for all citizens. Officially, there is no ban on Christianity, Tibetan Buddhism or Islam.
But the reality is that along with China’s belt and road economic initiative, citizen-score initiative and the cult of personality forming around President Xi, the Chinese Communist Party has begun a broad crackdown on religion, including Christianity, that has gone largely unreported in the West.
As Xi Jinping consolidates his already vast power, any hint of Western influence is being pursued and either stamped out or “sinicized” into a Communist Chinese version.
Bibles have been seized across the country and many online retailers have removed Bibles and other Christian literature from their websites. Seeking to limit the growth of Christianity, the government has banned children from attending services in some areas and all communist party members are likewise warned against stepping foot inside churches.
Across China, churches are required to register with the government and accept video monitoring. Also, new church construction is not legal without a permit which, in most cases, is now being withheld.
Take the case of a shopkeeper, using only the name Gao in the press for fear of reprisals, who worked to save enough to build a small brick church connected to his home. In March, he was visited by more than a dozen policemen who dispersed the gathered worshipers, took down his Christian artwork and crosses and told them that they would face arrest if they gathered again without registering. Gao reported, “They were never this severe before, not since I started going to church in the 80s.”
Christians, who are now estimated to number some 67 million in China, are not new in the Middle Kingdom having arrived as early the seventh century and saw a wave of conversions by missionaries in the 1500’s. Later, in the 20th century, the upheaval caused by Mao’s Cultural Revolution dealt a serious blow to Christianity as he sought to eradicate all religious belief. Millions of Christians were publicly humiliated or jailed and tortured or simply murdered for their beliefs.
In recent decades, Christianity in China has seen a powerful revival due the answers it provides to the moral and spiritual questions that communist ideology cannot answer. Millions of Chinese see the moral degradation affecting their country and have turned to God and the Bible as the answer.
Sometimes this has been in the officially recognized churches across the country but increasingly it has been in small, informal house churches. These churches are independent of the official Chinese Christian Church and are now coming under increased persecution as the government continues its campaign to sinicize Christianity in China.
The term sinicize, or “to make Chinese” is an apt label here as the government has decided that instead of banning Christianity outright and forcing it completely underground, it is rewriting the Gospel to reflect Chinese Communist values. Christian moral teachings are being modified to include Chinese Communist values such as loyalty to the Communist Party. A senior official for religious affairs in China, Wang Zuoan, said at a conference for Sinicization of Christianity in Shanghai last year, “the construction of Chinese Christian theology should adapt to China’s national condition.”
In rural areas, such as that of the Christian residents in a township in southeast Jianghi province, many are being persuaded to replaced crosses and posters of Jesus with portraits of President Xi. A Chinese official boasted to the press that “through our thought reform, they’ve voluntarily done it. The move [of re-education] is aimed at Christian families in poverty, and we educated them to believe in science and not in superstition, making them believe in the Party.”
If the term “re-education” doesn’t conjure up images of Cold War era concentration camps, it is only because the world has begun to ignore what is happening inside China. Experts now believe that as many as 2 million Muslims, ethnic minorities in their provinces, have also been placed in internment camps.
Sometimes government officials simply tear down churches, as they did in Zhengzhou, Henan’s capital. The church in which around 100 people worshipped for years, was visited by 60 government officials from the police and the religion department. They used saws and hammers to reduce the church to little more than ruble in a matter of hours before they arrested its pastor and several young church members.
Their crime? Worshiping at an unregistered church. The church leaders had in fact attempted to register their church four times, but were ignored each time over the past several years and now destroying an “illegal” church makes for better press coverage.
In another case, government forces use threats and violence to shutter church doors. There is the story of Zion Church in Beijing, lead by Pastor JinMingri, that was ordered to install video cameras. The Pastor refused and his 1,500 person congregation faced threats and they individually received visits from the police.
They were forced to sign pledges to leave the church and pressured to do so when the police visited their employers and the landlords of their apartments. Some were fired and evicted as their bosses and landlords were also threatened by the police. Disobedient churches such as Zion Church can find their pews empty long before the bulldozers arrive because of such strongarm tactics.
The Chinese Catholic Church has declared in a recent publication that “only members of sinicized churches can obtain God’s love”. As more churches accept the yoke of the Communist Party rather than see their buildings demolished and their members imprisoned, such warped teachings of Christian doctrine will only increase.
Along with lengthy prison terms for unsanctioned preachers and the physical destruction of unaffiliated churches, the Chinese government is attempting to co-opt Christianity for its own gain so that Christianity becomes hardly recognizable from the religion we all know and more a tool of the Party for social control.
Reports of a mosque demolition made the international press in August, but where is the coverage for the persecution faced by millions of Chinese Christians? Where are the mainstream news stories of the many Christian churches that being torn down each month or the congregation members who are being intimidated into staying home?
The West has largely ignored China’s large-scale effort to crackdown on Christianity by a process of sinicization, persecution and outright destruction as it tightens its hold over the minds and spirits of its citizens.

It has become the primary focus of President Xi’s plans to eradicate “differences” between Chinese communities across the entire country.
He insists that “Chinese characteristics” must be incorporated into all activities, beliefs and traditions; chief among them being unwavering loyalty to the Communist party.
In April, China’s religious affairs department published an article saying that churches must endorse the party’s leadership as part of “Sinicization.”
The article stated: “Only Sinicized churches can obtain God’s love.”
Children are not allowed to visit churches anymore under the new rules
The move is part of Beijing’s “Principle for Promoting Chinese Christianity in China for the Next Five Years (2018-2022)” plan, which details how it will “Sinicize” Christianity within its borders.
Within hours of the declaration, censors moved in to eradicate Christianity.
Bibles were seized and banned, and digital versions can no longer be found online.
Only an officially approved version from the government-sanctioned open church is available.
Images of Christ have already been replaced with posters of President Xi and Christian children are no longer allowed to attend church.
Qi Yan, a member of the township party committee  said: “Through our thought reform, they’ve voluntarily done it.
“The move is aimed at Christian families in poverty, and we educated them to believe in science and not in superstition, making them believe in the party.”
One Beijing pastor refuted these claims, saying: “A lot of our flock are terrified by the pressure that the government is putting on them.
“It’s painful to think that in our own country’s capital, we must pay so dearly just to practice our faith.”
Hundreds of small and private churches have been shut down and for those who have resisted, life has already become difficult.
Many of China’s Christian communities have responded in a time-honoured fashion by continuing their congregational worship in secret.
Beijing sees Christianity as a Western threat, and its 67 million followers as infected by dangerous Western ideals.
President Xi stated in 2016: “We must resolutely guard against overseas infiltrations via religious means.”
Xi Lian, a scholar of Christianity in China at Duke University said: “Chinese leaders have always been suspicious of the political challenge or threat that Christianity poses to the Communist regimen.
“Under Xi, this fear of Western infiltration has intensified and gained a prominence that we haven’t seen for a long time.”
