Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save. When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing. Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— the LORD, who remains faithful forever.
He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous. The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD.
Matt. 24:6 And ye shall hear of WARS AND RUMOURS OF WARS: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Matt. 24:7 FOR NATION SHALL RISE AGAINST NATION, AND KINGDOM AGAINST KINGDOM: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Matt. 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows

QUESTION:    I have just read in one of your answers that we are not expected to understand the Trinity, but just to believe it. Could you tell me where in the bible I can find the requirement to believe in the Trinity?
ANSWER:    The Bible never explains the Trinity, but it asserts it in many places. From the creation to our redemption, you’ll find the Trinity as active participants.
All three are said to dwell within the believer.
We are God’s Temple in 1 Cor 3:16.
The Holy Spirit is sealed within us in Ephesians 1:13-14.
God dwells in Jesus and Jesus dwells in us in John 17:23.
Jesus is clearly described as God in the flesh and performed His miracles through the power of the Holy Spirit.
One God in three persons is an essential belief of Christianity.

QUESTION:    In the article, “Will God Punish Me for Praying to Jesus?“, you say that God is the same as Jesus. I have always had difficulty understanding the trinity. I heard someone say it is sort of like water…Water can have three forms, liquid, gas and ice. They are all different, but they are all water. The same is true for God. He has three forms, Himself, the Holy Spirit and Jesus. Would you say this is a good example of God’s trinity?
Why must we pray to God and ask “in the name of Jesus Christ?” Is this simply to acknowledge what Jesus (God) done for us and that we trust in it?
ANSWER:    Everyone has trouble understanding the Trinity because it exceeds our intellectual capability. As humans, we exist in something called the space/time continuum. That means that we’re subject to certain laws, one of which is that only one entity can occupy a given place at a given time. It’s all we know. So how can God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit be One, yet Three? All in the same place at the same time in one instant, three vastly different places in the next, and then back to one again? They talk to each other and yet they are each other. It’s beyond our comprehension.
Saying that the Trinity is like the 3 forms of water or like the three parts of an egg really doesn’t help because the water can’t be all three parts at once (at least not for long), and the egg, once separated, can’t ever go back to being one.
And yet, the Bible states that God is that way. How this can be is never explained, so we’re not asked to understand it. We’re just asked to believe it.
By the way, the same is true of several things we use every day and take for granted. For example, no one can completely explain how gravity, electricity or the engine in our car works. But we use them any way, even though we don’t understand them.
As for prayer, we aren’t required to pray only to God, but Jesus did tell us that whatever we ask for in His name would be given to us. (John 14:13)

Syria launches anti-rebel operation in Quneitra ahead of Putin-Netanyahu meeting
For some hours, Syrian forces have been pounding rebel positions at Nabi Sakhar east of Quneitra with heavy tank and artillery fire as well as Golan 1000 rocket launchers. For now, the rebels hold superior fire power, but are short of manpower for holding the wider region.
It is not clear whether the Syrian forces reached the Quneitra region from Daraa where fighting continues, or from the north. In communiques in the last few hours, the Syrian high command in Damascus claimed the rebels are supported by the IDF. According to the official Syrian news agency SANA, “the jihadist rebels ae currently under the protection of the Israeli Defense Forces” – although no details are offered. There is no official word from Israel.
In Daraa, the first part of Syria’s drive to seize control of the southwest is jumping back and forth, because neither the Assad regime nor the Syrian army accept the ceasefire deal which the Russians negotiated with local rebel leaders. On Sunday, therefore, the Syrian air force renewed its strikes on rebel positions in Daraa and Syrian, Hizballah and pro-Iranian Shiite militias stand ready to go into Daraa City. This would be in repudiation of the Russian-rebel deal which restricted entry to Syrian civilian administrators.
The rulers of Damascus suspect the Russians are aiming to broker the same ceasefire deal with the rebels of Queiitra. This would leave the anti-Assad fighters in place and in control of their villages, in return for surrendering their heavy and medium arms.
The Syrian allegation of an Israeli air attack on the big Syrian T-4 air base Sunday night clearly pointed to its next target: the Syrian Golan town of Quneitra opposite IDF lines. The giveaway came from the content of the Syrian communique, which was framed to  implicate all of Assad’s enemies in the purported attack. The Israeli jets allegedly flew in from Jordan over the US outpost at Al Tanf.
By setting up this ploy four days before President Vladimir Putin receives Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in Moscow on Wednesday, Bashar Assad was giving Moscow due warning that he would play the Quneitra offensive by his own rule book not the Russians.’ It remains to be seen how the Syrian army’s Quneitra operation, launched on Monday, plays out – whether it is restricted to small skirmishes or spreads more widely.
Iranian general: Forces ‘awaiting orders’ to destroy Israel
As Iran faces ongoing protests from a growing movement aiming to bring down the mullah-led regime, its top general is threatening to send an “Islamic army” across the border into Israel from Syria to wipe out the “evil Zionist regime.”
Hossein Salami, the deputy commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, said there are forces in Lebanon as well as Syria awaiting orders while the Tehran-backed Hezbollah terror group aims 100,000 missiles at Israel, the Times of Israel reported.
“We are creating might in Lebanon because we want to fight our enemy from there with all our strength,” he stated. “Hezbollah today has tremendous might on the ground that can on its own break the Zionist regime. The Zionist regime has no strategic-defensive depth.”
Salami said Israel faces dangers greater than at any time in its history, according to a translation of his speech by the Middle East Media Research Institute, MEMRI.
“Today an international Islamic army has been formed in Syria, and the voices of the Muslims are heard near the Golan,” he said. “Orders are awaited, so that … the eradication of the evil regime [Israel] will land and the life of this regime will be ended for good. The life of the Zionist regime was never in danger as it is now.”
Salami declared “the Zionist regime constitutes a threat … to the entire Islamic world.”
“That is the philosophy of the establishment of this regime,” he said.
Salami said the regime’s objective of destroying Israel was established by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the leader of the 1979 Iranian revolution.
Khomeini “spread the rationale of eradicating Israel as a new notion in the world’s political discourse,” Salami said. “Since then, the Zionist regime is fearful, delusional, and worried.”
The Times of Israel noted the Jewish state has been waging a quiet campaign to prevent Tehran from establishing a new front on its border with Syria.
The campaign shifted into more open conflict in February, the Israel website said, when an Iranian drone carrying explosives briefly entered Israeli airspace before it was shot down.
Israel responded to Iran’s encroachment with a counterattack on the mobile command center in Syria from which the drone had been piloted, killing at least seven members of the Revolutionary Guards.
As WND reported, emboldened by new sanctions imposed by the United States in the wake of the cancellation of the nuclear agreement, Iranian citizens increasingly have engaged in bold acts of civil disobedience and protests intended ultimately to bring about the overthrow of the mullah-led Islamic regime.
On June 25, protesters surrounded the Iranian parliament with chants of “death to Khamenei,” the ayatollah and supreme ruler, and “death to the dictator” in the first such confrontation after similar demonstrations rocked the country at the start of the year.

Syrian/pro-Iranian column from Daraa heading to Syrian-Israeli-Jordanian border junction
The army column is expected to reach Israel’s southern Golan border by the end of the week.
On its way north from Daraa on Monday, July 9, this mixed force of Syrian army, Hizballah and Iraqi and Afghan Shiite militias, under Rev Guards Gen. Qassam Soleimani’s command, captured three rebel villages: Kharb al-Shahm, Zaizoun and Tal Shihab. The force’s first objective is the Syrian-Jordanian border and the Yarmouk region held by the ISIS-affiliated Khalid ibn al Walid Army. These extremists are likely to fold quickly under the assault and so, by the end of the week, the column will be free to turn towards the Israeli border along the southern Golan.
DEBKAfile’s military sources report that, unless Israel takes preventive action in time, this Syrian-Iranian push will link up with other forces to encircle the Quneitra region opposite the Israeli Golan from the east, south and North. Yet no action has been taken, although the new Syrian military advance threatens to deposit Hizballah and pro-Iranian militias – not just opposite the Golan but along the Israeli-Syrian border east of the Sea of Galilee and Hamat Gader.
The Syrian army and its allies are therefore moving ever closer to the Israeli border after their initial thrust, which was first revealed by DEBKAfile on July 9. Bashar Assad has brought his Quneitra operation forward for the purpose of thwarting any accommodations President Vladimir Putin may reach with Binyamin Netanyahu when they talk in Moscow on Wednesday, July 11.
The Syrian army began attacking rebel positions around Quneitra opposite Israel’s Golan border on Monday, July 9. For some hours, Syrian forces have been pounding rebel positions at Nabi Sakhar east of Quneitra with heavy tank and artillery fire as well as Golan 1000 rocket launchers. For now, the rebels hold superior fire power, but are short of manpower for holding the wider region.

Liberman: Pro-Iranian forces setting up ‘terror infrastructure’ in Syrian Golan
Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman on Tuesday said Israel has detected efforts by Iran-backed terror groups to establish infrastructure in southwestern Syria, under the cover of dictator Bashar Assad’s renewed offensive against two rebel-held provinces in the area.
“We are seeing efforts by figures associated with the [Iran-led] axis, with permission from the regime, to establish terrorist infrastructure here in the Syrian Golan Heights,” Liberman said during a tour of the border with Syria.
“In our view, this is unacceptable, and we will act forcefully against all terrorist infrastructure that we see and identify in the area,” he said.
Liberman would not elaborate on the nature of the “terrorist infrastructure,” but reiterated that Israel was holding Syria responsible for it as well.
“I don’t want to go into more detail than what I’ve said. We are seeing preparation, an effort by forces connected to the [Iran-led] axis to establish terrorist infrastructure, and we are determined to not allow that. Period,” he said. “Everyone will take responsibility, everyone will pay the price, including the regime.”
In a short press conference after a tour of the border and meetings with IDF regional commanders, the defense minister also warned Assad’s forces against entering the demilitarized zone along the border with Israel, indicating that those who do so would be attacked.
“In our view, the entry of Syrian forces into the buffer zone — any Syrian soldier who finds himself in the buffer zone is endangering their life,” he said.
Liberman added that Israel was prepared to take action not only against terror groups but also against Assad’s regime, which “is responsible and will bear that responsibility and pay a heavy price for cooperating with members of the axis.”
The defense minister added that Israel was not dismissing out of hand the possibility for some kind of normalization with the Assad regime in the form of opening the Quneitra Crossing between the two countries.
“I believe that we are far from that, but I am not ruling anything out,” he said.
Israel has long stated that it will not allow Iran to set up a permanent military presence in Syria and is prepared to take military action to prevent such a situation.
Militarily, Israel has sought to counter the alleged Iranian entrenchment through airstrikes and other measures. Diplomatically, Jerusalem has tried to get the Islamic Republic out of Syrian by appealing to the two main power-brokers in the region: Russia and the United States.
While Russia does not seem to have accepted Israel’s demand for Iran to be completely removed from Syria, it has agreed to force the Islamic Republic’s forces and proxies to leave the areas closest to the border with Israel. According to some reports, pro-Iranian forces would be required to stay 40 kilometers (25 miles) away from the border; others indicate that range would be set at 80 kilometers (50 miles).
On Tuesday, Liberman reiterated Israel’s opposition to any Iranian military presence in Syria.
“The very fact of Iranian presence in Syria is, in our view, unreasonable. We are not prepared to accept Iranian presence in any part of Syria and, as I’m sure you’ve heard more than once, we will act against Iranian entrenchment in Syria,” he said.

Globalists Are Telling Us Exactly What Disasters They’re Planning For The Economy
Make no mistake, the globalists have concrete plans, some of them simple, some of them rather elaborate. But who are the “globalists”? There’s really no secret to it: ANY person or institution that promotes the philosophy of global centralization of economic or political power into the hands of a select few is probably globalist.
There is no specific nationality, ethnic group or religious group that makes up the globalist hierarchy. They come from every part of the world and from every conceivable background. They have their private clubs like the Bilderberg Group and the Bohemian Club. They also have their own institutional frameworks, like the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, the Tavistock Institute, the International Monetary Fund, the Bank for International Settlements, etc. But, these are all distractions and misdirections.
At the core of their organization is the desire for total power, built upon full blown narcissism and sociopathy leading to naive notions that godhood, for them, is attainable.
Now, one might assume these globalists would never restrain themselves with such a thing as “rules of etiquette”; that chaos is their sole strategy. However, this is not entirely accurate. From my observations, it appears that they do follow some rules. One of those rules seems to be this: For whatever reason, they willingly and openly volunteer their plans or reveal future outcomes to the public for consumption before they implement those plans or trigger those outcomes.
The rationale behind this could be any number of things. Perhaps it is a method of gloating. Or, being high level narcissists, they would psychologically be in the habit of hinting at the crimes they plan to commit and then view our lack of reaction as “permission” to go forward. My theory – it is a combination of both, as well as the idea that revealing a plan and then enacting a plan without resistance gives that plan even more power than if it had been kept strictly hidden.
What the globalists want, ultimately, is public acceptance and submission to their authority. They don’t want to have to operate from behind the curtain. They are narcissists. They don’t like hiding.
What are some examples of this behavior?
In 2007, the Bank for International Settlements issued a public “warning” that loose monetary policy by central banks had created a dangerous credit bubble that would result in a global Great Depression. Of course, being the “central bank of central banks” and the moderator of all central bank policy, the BIS itself was well positioned to create such a crisis. Only months later the crash occurred, and we are still suffering the consequences.
In January of 2017, globalist George Soros “predicted” that Donald Trump would use his presidency to launch a trade war with China, and that this trade war would drive Europe and China closer together as political and economic allies while US influence wanes. This year, the US has indeed entered into a trade war with China as tariffs escalate and greater threats to Chinese investment in American markets percolate. And, China and major EU governments like Germany are indeed establishing much closer ties than ever before.
Whether or not US influence “wanes” remains to be seen.  Considering the number of banking elites roaming the halls of the White House, I think it is obviously possible that they could make Soros’ predictions a reality with or without Trump’s cooperation. The globalists sabotage from within, causing the exact disasters they publicly predict, then escape as the blame is laid in the laps of predetermined scapegoats like “populists”.
And this habit of openly acknowledging their own impending crimes continues today. In the past year alone, the IMF, BIS, WTO, as well as numerous individual globalists have given warning as to what is about to happen economically and geopolitically in the near future.
The IMF is warning that trade tensions threaten to undermine economic confidence and global growth as the globalists that infest that institution play on the false narrative that the world has been in “economic recovery”. The truth is that we never recovered from the 2008 crash, and that all semblance of recovery was fabricated by central bank stimulus measures — the same measures that central banks around the world are now shutting down.
At the end of 2017, the BIS warned that economies were “overheating”, and that this trend was dangerously similar to the conditions of 2008 just before the credit crash. Suddenly, the term “stagflation”, a threat alternative analysts like myself were warning about for years, is being discussed broadly in the mainstream media. Not only that, but central bankers are using the threat of inflationary pressures as an excuse to continue raising interest rates and cutting their balance sheets – actions which they know full well will cause the next stock market crash.
Jerome Powell, the new head of the Federal Reserve, clearly warned of this danger back in 2012 as exposed in recently released Fed meeting transcripts. And yet, he is taking these actions anyway. If this doesn’t prove the duplicitous nature of the Fed as a predictor of the very crises it then creates, I don’t know what does.
Is it not convenient for the globalists that their predictions of crisis fail to mention that the central banks which they control are facilitating the very conditions by which a crash can occur? You see, globalists are perfectly happy to tell you in advance what is about to happen, but they are never going to tell you truth about WHY it happened.
It is likely that on top of the reasons already discussed, these elitists happily admit to their schemes because they think there is nothing anyone can do about them anyway. While preventing an economic disaster is impossible at this stage, it is not true that nothing can be done about the outcome.
In terms of financial protection, the answer is also clear – central banks in nations like China and Russia are stockpiling precious metals at an unprecedented rate. Here again, globalist institutions controlled by the BIS are telling us exactly what is about to happen. With the US slated to enter a steep decline, and stagflationary dangers looming, major players are moving into gold and to some extent silver. It only makes sense that the common man, while he is still able, place a percentage of his savings into these commodities as well.
With tangible commodities in hand, backed by the stability of localized trade, any community could weather the storm of a fiscal downturn. Without these things, survival is far less certain. The very despots that have the ability to cause a collapse are telling us a collapse is about to happen. It is time to take the matter seriously, and prepare accordingly.

China ‘Quietly’ Conducts Electronic Warfare Tests in South China Sea
Weeks after delivering military equipment to the South China Sea’s disputed Spratly Islands, China has begun to conduct tests on its tech-jamming weaponry, it was revealed Thursday.
Sources aware of the tests told CNBC that recent intelligence assessments of the region detailed the “first known use of the equipment” since the technology was initially deployed to the area earlier this year. The report noted that Beijing is now “quietly testing” its assets.
This comes after a US Navy pilot told GMA News that their EA-18G Growler had encountered Chinese jamming technology when traveling through the South China Sea in April.
“The mere fact that some of your equipment is not working is already an indication that someone is trying to jam you,” the pilot told GMA News on April 14, adding that “we have an answer to that.”
Along with the jammers, the Wall Street Journal reported on April 9 that China had also delivered surface-to-air and anti-ship cruise missiles to the islands.
The Spratly Islands are a disputed group of islands, islets, cays and reefs, many of which are not above sea level at high tide. Countries including China, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam have claimed them as part of their territory. In recent years, China has devoted extensive resources to reclaiming many of these reefs from the sea, forming artificial islands that only fuel the debate about sovereignty over the region.
The South China Sea, where the Spratly Islands are located, is a crucial sea gateway through which some $3.4 trillion of trade passes annually, CNBC reported.

Brexit is dead –  strangled at the weekend by Prime Minister Theresa May and her cabal of Remainer cronies.
It was a brilliant coup, masterfully conducted with a sadist’s attention to detail.
All the ministers in the Cabinet were hauled up to Chequers, the Prime Minister’s country residence, where their phones were confiscated, as though they were naughty children. Then the stubbornly pro-Brexit ones who were rightly disgusted by the shaming sell-out deal May had cobbled together with her virulently Remainer civil servants were given the same choice Rommel was in 1944: cyanide pill or slow career death.
The cyanide pill option would have involved resigning immediately on principle: but then being ritually humiliated by having their official car confiscated and having to walk to the train station via the mile-long drive, or catch a cab, with a £67,000 pay cut.
A letter to each minister, leaked to the press, warned them of this beforehand. Petty, but given how vain ministers are, very effective.
None of the leading Brexiteers present – not Michael Gove, not even Boris Johnson whose last chance this was to establish himself as the credible voice of the Leave resistance – chose to do the decent thing. (Though Brexit Secretary David Davis has resigned since, as has his brilliant and principled junior minister Steve Baker – one of the unsung heroes of the Leave campaign).
Really, though, the “who did what to whom and why?” elements of this story are a distraction from the only thing that matters: Brexit has been sabotaged, democracy undermined, and the people betrayed by the Remainer establishment.
In June 2016, 17.4 million people — more than had ever voted for anything in British history — voted Brexit to free themselves from the clutches of that Remainer establishment. Now the Remainer establishment has responded as only it knows how: by ignoring the democratic will and shoring up its power base by whatever means necessary.
The two articles that best sum it up are this excellent leader from the Sunday Telegraph:
The dream has been dashed. We are still technically leaving, more or less, but there will be no revolution, no new deal between elites and voters, no great reset […]
Remember that British Euroscepticism began life as a revolt against petty regulations and controls – and all of those rules governing light bulbs and vacuum cleaners and working hours, however small they might have seemed, were indicative of the EU’s bureaucratic, integrating agenda. How ridiculous then that Britain should leave the EU only to voluntarily tie itself to those same rules.
Even worse, we are willingly giving up the right to push through radical free-market or pro-competition reforms by sticking to the EU’s social policies. How can we, as the world’s sixth largest economy, and a major market for the EU, be willing to hobble ourselves in such a way? We won’t be able to have our own competition policy, or energy policy, and we will remain part of a myriad of bodies and schemes. And why this obsession with access for manufactured goods, rather than for the dominant services sector? Why not trade one for the other: after all, that is what any sensible negotiator would have done.
Last Friday felt like a political coup by the establishment, and an abject surrender by the Brexiteers in Cabinet, along with their colleagues who say that they now accept Brexit.
and this from Brendan O’Neill in the Spectator.
We know two things for sure about the vote for Brexit, and both of them make the political class uncomfortable: first, that the poorer you are, the more likely it is that you voted Leave; and secondly, that most people voted Leave in order that Britain might assume greater sovereign control over her borders and her law-making. This was a fairly working-class revolt against the dilution of British sovereignty by Brussels and our own politicians who love Brussels.
I’m sorry, but it was. And what does Theresa May do, cheered on by ‘Soft Brexiteers’ and some Remainers too? She proposes the continued selling-off of British sovereignty through tying us into a customs arrangement that would limit our sovereign decision-making on trade, and keeping us beholden to certain ECJ rulings, which would limit our ability to make and live by our own laws.
This is a betrayal. A grotesque betrayal. It is a haughty rejection, in euphemistic language, of the great cry made by the 17.4m, which was for the recovery of national sovereignty and democratic authority. The electorate said ‘Britain should have control of its borders and laws’, and May says, ‘Actually let’s leave some of that control with Brussels’. This isn’t Soft Brexit; it is Remain by another name. When will our political leaders realise how serious, how historically serious, it is that they are reneging on the largest democratic act in British history? May should go. Chequers this weekend should be her ending. In her place, we need a leader who recognises the positive, democratic drive behind Brexit, and who is willing to make it a reality. If such a politician exists.
Brexit, it is now becoming clear, was our Peasants’ Revolt in more ways than one.
It was our Peasants’ Revolt in the sense that it was an uprising of ordinary people against an accountable elite.
It was also our Peasants’ Revolt in the way — after a brief pretence that the elite was listening: Richard II rode personally to meet Wat Tyler and his rebel forces at Smithfield — was ruthlessly put down with all the ringleaders executed.
These are sad times for Britain. Especially sad, for those of us, like the author of the Sunday Telegraph‘s leader who can remember how good it felt to be alive on the dawn the Brexit referendum result was announced…
The much anticipated resignation letter penned by the former UK Foreign Minister Boris Johnson has been released, and in as expected, he does not mince his words in unleashing a brutal attack on Thersa May, warning that “we have postponed crucial decisions — including the preparations for no deal, as I argued in my letter to you of last November — with the result that we appear to be heading for a semi-Brexit, with large parts of the economy still locked in the EU system, but with no UK control over that system.”
He then adds that while “Brexit should be about opportunity and hope” and “a chance to do things differently, to be more nimble and dynamic, and to maximise the particular advantages of the UK as an open, outward-looking global economy”, he warns that the “dream is dying, suffocated by needless self-doubt.
He then compares May’s proposal to a submission even before it has been received by the EU, noting that “what is even more disturbing is that this is our opening bid. This is already how we see the end state for the UK — before the other side has made its counter-offer. It is as though we are sending our vanguard into battle with the white flags fluttering above them.”
And his punchline: the UK is headed for the status of a colony:
In that respect we are truly headed for the status of colony — and many will struggle to see the economic or political advantages of that particular arrangement
Explaining his decision to resing, he then says that “we must have collective responsibility. Since I cannot in all conscience champion these proposals, I have sadly concluded that I must go.”
It remains to be seen if his passionate defense of Brexit will stir enough MPs to indicate they are willing to back a vote of no confidence, and overthrow Theresa May in what would be effectively a coup, resulting in new elections and chaos for the Brexit process going forward.
Meanwhile, as Bloomberg adds, the fact that Boris Johnson, or those around him, made sure his resignation statement came out in time for the evening news – before it was formally issued in the traditional way by May’s office, hints at his continued interest in leading the Conservative Party.
We have postponed crucial decisions — including the preparations for no deal, as I argued in my letter to you of last November — with the result that we appear to be heading for a semi-Brexit, with large parts of the economy still locked in the EU system, but with no UK control over that system.
It now seems that the opening bid of our negotiations involves accepting that we are not actually going to be able to make our own laws. Indeed we seem to have gone backwards since the last Chequers meeting in February, when I described my frustrations, as Mayor of London, in trying to protect cyclists from juggernauts. We had wanted to lower the cabin windows to improve visibility; and even though such designs were already on the market, and even though there had been a horrific spate of deaths, mainly of female cyclists, we were told that we had to wait for the EU to legislate on the matter.
Nigel Farage, who two years ago exited from UK politics, pledged to return to campaigning over Brexit once interim UKIP leader Gerard Batten reaches the end of his term in March. The traditionally outspoken Farage blasted Prime Minister Theresa May as she fights off a rebellion from within the conservative party following the resignations of Boris Johnson and David Davis.
The former trader dedicated his political career to pulling Britain out of the EU, and still serves as an member of the European Parliament for South East England. The ex-UKIP leader – who was one of the architects of Brexit, having been a leading voice in the campaign to leave – blasted the PM as “awful” and warned the “latest  Brexit betrayal must be reversed”.
In a follow up tweet, Farage said that “unless Brexit is back on track by March 2019, I will seriously consider putting my name forward to return as @UKIP leader. The will of 17.4m voters must be carried out.”
Unless Brexit is back on track by March 2019, I will seriously consider putting my name forward to return as @UKIP leader. The will of 17.4m voters must be carried out.

If the great Brexit betrayal isn’t reversed, I’ll have no choice but to return as Ukip leader
In July 2017, I wrote in the Telegraph that the great Brexit betrayal had begun. This observation, made after new transitional arrangements had been unveiled which showed Britain would effectively be tied to the EU until 2021, was met with the usual derision that I’ve come to expect. Some people even suggested that in making this remark I was trying to reignite my political career. As ever, it seems the great and the good did not understand my motives.

Many in the charismatic movement today are being led away from Jesus, not by sex, booze and drugs, but by an unhealthy fascination with signs, wonders and miracles. For example, a young man shared with me about being in a meeting where miracles were being greatly publicized. He said that at one point the crowd began to chant over and over “Signs! Miracles! Signs! Miracles!”
Choking back the tears, he said, “I felt grieved in my spirit.” He was also confused. Why did he feel grieved inside? Aren’t we supposed to desire miracles? I assured him that what he experienced was the Holy Spirit in him being grieved by this crowd’s unhealthy preoccupation and fascination with miracles. Jesus had been preempted by their self-centered desire to see a miracle.
This reminds me of Herod, who was “exceedingly glad” (Luke 23:8, NKJV) to finally see Jesus when Pilate sent Jesus to him during His trial. Why was Herod “exceedingly glad” to see Jesus? It wasn’t because Herod wanted to know Him and His message. Luke 23:8 goes on to say, “He hoped to see some miracle done by Him.” Herod wanted to be entertained by a miracle. His interest in Jesus and miracles was centered in himself and his own egotistical desire.
Believers are not to follow signs; signs are to follow believers. Mark 16:15 says, “And these signs will follow [accompany] those who believe.” Believers are to follow Jesus and let the signs follow where they will. The devil can perform signs (remember Pharaoh’s magicians) and if we are following signs, we are headed for trouble. Here are some suggestions to help keep us on track:
  1. Remember that Jesus is the source of true and genuine miracles, so seek Him.
  2. Remember that a miracle is not an end in itself, to be sought for its own value. Its only value is in bringing glory to Jesus and helping someone in need.
  3. Remember that the primary purpose of miracles is to honor and exalt the name of Jesus, not build up a preacher, church or ministry.
  4. Don’t follow signs. Follow Jesus and let the signs follow you.
  5. Beware of those who would nurture an unhealthy fascination with miracles instead of a closer, more intimate walk with Jesus.
  6. Avoid the Herod mentality that wants to be entertained by a miracle in much the same way that people pay to be entertained by a magician.
  7. Believe in miracles, but follow Jesus

Hello Brother Eddie:
Congratulations on your newsletter: “Believe in Miracles, but Follow Jesus.” We are facing a real serious plague of superstition in the body of the charismatic Pentecostal world. I am often embarrassed, shocked, ashamed by the silly things people are doing and saying. Keep up the good work. We must let the world know that somebody, somewhere is being faithful to gospel redemption teaching.
Greetings to you both. You are special. The writings that both of you are offering to our world are of tremendous spiritual value.
Your special friend and co-worker with Christ,
T.L. Osborn

Bill Wilson –
As the mainstream media continues its quest to undermine the current President, and the deep-state and Democratic Party work overtime to tarnish all things that do not agree with their godless, globalist agenda, this is no time to sit back and breathe easy. Mid-term elections will be upon us sooner than you think. While the president’s party traditionally loses Congressional seats during mid-term elections, this fall’s elections are more important than ever. The opposition spews forth words like impeachment, and want to stall judicial appointments. This is no time to disengage. The last election demonstrated the power of the Christian vote. Christ is the answer to this dark and dying world, and you are his vessel.
You have a calling. And much bad doctrine has been taught about this. The Holy Scriptures say in Romans 8:28 “that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” It’s not your purpose, but “HIS” purpose. Romans 11:29 says that “the gifts and calling of God are unchangeable.” So when people are saying that you have to find your calling, it is really understanding that you are called “not according to our works, but according to his own purpose (2 Timothy 1:9).” Christ is our example. He is the way the truth and the life. He showed us how to engage according to his purpose. It takes courage to conduct Christ’s purpose in this world, in this country today.
Psalm 31:24 says, “Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the LORD.” As Christians, our hope is in the Lord. We are to be ever watching for his return. As Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” And Jesus promises in Matthew 10:22, “And you shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endures to the end shall be saved.” We, as Christians, are not to stand by and allow evil to advance just because we have read the end of the book and we win. We are to not be overcome with evil, but to overcome evil with good. The Lord says to be of good courage and that his gifts will never change–you are equipped.
2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” We are reminded that it isn’t easy in 2 Corinthians 4:8,9: “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed…” Verse 6 tells us, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
We should not fear man. Man cannot take our soul. So we need to take heart during these times. Have courage. Put on the full armour of God and speak boldly as we ought to speak. And having done all, stand.
